Abstract

Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) play a vital role in shaping morally upright and knowledgeable individuals while also serving as centers of social and economic activities within local communities. However, many pesantren struggle to achieve financial independence due to inadequate financial management practices. This community service project aimed to address these gaps by providing comprehensive financial management training to pesantren administrators, with the goal of fostering economic self-reliance. The methodologies employed included participatory approaches, workshops, and follow-up mentoring to ensure the effective application of financial management principles. As a result, participating pesantren were able to implement improved financial management systems, including better cash flow monitoring, structured financial reporting, and transparent budgeting. These changes led to enhanced transparency, accountability, and decision-making in financial matters. Furthermore, the project assisted pesantren in identifying and developing independent business ventures such as agriculture, crafts, and food production, thus providing alternative revenue streams. The outcomes demonstrated that with proper financial management training and support, pesantren could move towards economic sustainability, reducing their dependence on external donations. This program contributes to the broader field by demonstrating the significant impact of structured financial management in educational institutions.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to address the moral decline among students in the context of globalization by exploring the concept of character education management based on religious culture in special education schools in Cirebon, Indonesia. The focus is on understanding how religious culture can enhance the quality of graduates and provide a solution to the moral challenges faced by the younger generation. Design/methods/approach – A qualitative case study design was employed to investigate the character education management at SLB Bina Mandiri, a special education school in Cirebon. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis involving teachers, principals, and students. Thematic analysis was used to categorize and interpret the data, ensuring validity through triangulation and expert reviews Findings – The study found that effective character education management based on religious culture involves strategic planning, clear organizational roles, consistent implementation, and thorough supervision. Programs such as daily Quran recitation, congregational prayers, and religious observances foster a positive school environment and significantly enhance student discipline, respect, and religious understanding. These initiatives have led to the development of students with strong moral characters and high-quality graduates. Research implications – The findings suggest that other special education schools can adopt this model to improve their character education programs. The study highlights the importance of the principal's role in planning and organizing religious programs to ensure consistency and commitment from all school components. Future research should explore the long-term impacts and applicability of this management model in different educational contexts.

Abstract

The development of sharia banking is more modern, based on islam and the many types of product, features anda other service facilities does not automatically become islamic banking as a solution to banking transactions and services that are expected by all levels of society, it is inseparable from the weaknesses that still lack of satisfaction level felt by customers. As for the research objectives, among other: 1) Information on product attributes sharia banking offices at PT. Bank bjb syariah in Tangerang City. 2) Influence of product attributes on the level of satisfaction at PT. Bank bjb syariah in Tangerang City. 3) Know the relationship between product attributes on the level of satisfaction of islamic banking customers at PT. Bank bjb syariah in Tangerang City. While the research method in the preparation of the thesis is a quantitative method by collecting data in the from of observations, questionnaires, documentation and literature studies, in this study using a sample as a respondent as many 251 respondents with a population of 671 customers. Based test of ANOVA or F count on can F count was 59,303, obtained SS Regresi=444,092 SS Residual=1864,657 MS Regresi=444,092 MS Residual=7.489,Sig Value <0,05, then H0 is rejected. This means that influences of product attributes (X1), Quality of Service (X2) & Office Network (X3) to the level of customer satisfaction (Y) PT. Bank Jabar Banten Syariah in Tangerang City. Keywords : Product Attribute; Customer Satisfaction; Syariah Banking Abstrak Berkembangnya perbankan syariah yang semakin modern, berasaskan Islam dan telah banyaknya berbagai macam produk, fitur dan fasilitas layanan lainnya tidak secara otomatis menjadi perbankan syariah sebagai solusi atas transaksi dan pelayanan perbankan yang diharapkan oleh seluruh lapisan masyarakat, hal tersebut tidak terlepas dari adanya kelemahan sehingga masih kurangnya tingkat kepuasan yang dirasakan nasabah. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini antara lain: 1) Informasi atribut produk perbankan syariah pada PT. bank bjb syariah di Kotamadya Tangerang. 2) Pengaruh atribut produk terhadap tingkat kepuasan nasabah perbankan syariah pada PT. bank bjb syariah di Kotamadya Tangerang. 3) Mengetahui hubungan antara atribut produk terhadap tingkat kepuasan nasabah perbankan syariah pada PT. bank bjb syariah di Kotamadya Tangerang. Sedangkan metode penelitan dalam penyusunan tesis ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data berupa observasi, angket, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebagai respondensinya sebanyak 251 responden dengan populasi 671 nasabah. Dari uji ANOVA atau Fhitung , didapat F hitung adalah 59,303 diperoleh SS Regresi=444,092 SS Residual=1864,657 MS Regresi=444,092 MS Residual=7.489 dan Nilai Sig < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak. Artinya Terdapat pengaruh Atribut Produk (X) terhadap Tingkat kepuasan nasabah (Y) PT. Bank bjb Syariah di Kotamadya Tangerang. Kata Kunci : Atribut Produk; Kepuasaan Nasabah; Perbankan Syariah

Abstract

Economic growth is the development of activities in the economy which causes the goods and services produced in the society to increase. Economic growth is an increase in gross domestic product or real gross national product. Islamic bank innovative products in the form of sharia restricted account intermediary (SRIA) which will be the differentiator with conventional banks are expected to become game changers, because it will open up investment opportunities in micro, small and medium enterprises by acting as an investment manager because investors are actually SRIA investors themselves. with a variety of product attributes in enhancing the role of Islamic banks in improving the economy of the people so that the existence of Islamic banks with product attributes to be partners who need each other and trickle down the economy will provide opportunities for economic actors in improving welfare. Micro, small and medium enterprises will be able to absorb a large workforce, thereby reducing unemployment. at the same time as the reduction in unemployment will reduce poverty, this is because the workforce absorbed by micro, small and medium enterprises will get income. an increase in income will in turn encourage national consumption so as to stimulate higher production and increase national income so that the development process can continue and the welfare of the community increases Abstrak Pertumbuhan ekonomi merupakan perkembangan kegiatan dalam perekonomian yang menyebabkan barang dan jasa yang diproduksikan dalam masyarakat bertambah. Pertumbuhan ekonomi merupakan kenaikan PDB atau PNB rill. Produk inovatif bank syariah berupa Sharia Restricted Intermediary Account (SRIA) yang akan menjadi pembeda dengan bank konvensional diharapkan dapat menjadi game changer, karena akan membuka peluang investasi di usaha UMKM dengan bertindak selaku manajer investasi, karena pemodal sebenarnya adalah investor SRIA sendiri. Dengan berbagai atribut produk inovatif dalam meningkatkan peran bank syariah terhadap peningkatan ekonomi umat sehingga keberadaan bank syariah dengan atribut produknya menjadi mitra yang saling membutuhkan dan trickle down economic atau ekonomi yang menetes akan memberikan peluang-peluang bagi pelaku ekonomi dalam meningkatkan taraf kesejahteraan. UMKM akan dapat menyerap tenaga kerja yang besar, sehingga akan mengurangi pengangguran. Pada saat bersamaan dengan berkurangnya pengangguran maka kemiskinan akan berkurang, hal ini dikarenakan tenaga kerja yang terserap oleh UMKM akan memperoleh pendapatan. Adanya peningkatan pendapatan pada gilirannya akan mendorong konsumsi nasional sehingga memacu produksi lebih tinggi dan menjadikan pendapatan nasional menjadi meningkat sehingga proses pembangunan dapat terus berjalan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat akan meningkat.

Abstract

This research is motivated by Islamic banks which are starting to be in demand by the public, especially the Indonesian population is the majority Muslim. However, not many people understand how Islamic banks operate. This study aims to determine the effect of public understanding of usury on interest in transacting in Islamic banks (Case Study of the Karangmekar Village Community, Karangsembung District, Cirebon Regency). This research is a type of quantitative research using the method of observation, questionnaires and documents. Data collection techniques using questionnaires or questionnaires to obtain data on public understanding of usury (X) and public interest in transacting in Islamic banks (Y). This study is a population study, because it takes the entire community of Karangmekar Village based on the level of education over the age of 18, totaling 2,140 people with a total of 96 respondents as research subjects. The results of this study indicate that the variable of public understanding of usury has a positive and significant effect on people's interest in transacting in Islamic banks. It is evident from the regression coefficient value of the variable of public understanding of usury (X) of 0.686, which means that if the public's understanding of usury has increased by 1%, the interest in transacting in Islamic banks will increase by 68.6%. In addition, it is also evident from the variable of people's understanding of usury which has a value of tcount (6,700) > ttable (1,985) and the significance value obtained is 0.000 which means that the value is smaller than the alpha value of 0.05, so the decision is H0 is rejected, it means that the variable of public understanding of usury has a significant effect on the interest in transacting in Islamic banks. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh bank syariah yang mulai diminati oleh masyarakat, terlebih penduduk Indonesia adalah mayoritas beragama Islam. Namun tidak banyak dari masyarakat yang memahami bagaimana operasional bank syariah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh pemahaman masyarakat tentang riba terhadap minat bertransaksi di Bank Syariah (Studi Kasus Masyarakat Desa Karangmekar Kecamatan Karangsembung Kabupaten Cirebon). Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode observasi, angket dan dokumen. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner atau angket untuk mendapatkan data mengenai pemahaman masyarakat tentang riba (X) dan minat masyarakat bertransaksi di Bank Syariah (Y). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian populasi, karena mengambil seluruh masyarakat Desa Karangmekar berdasarkan tingkat pendidikan yang berusia di atas 18 tahun yang berjumlah 2.140 orang dengan jumlah subyek penelitian sebanyak 96 responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel pemahaman masyarakat tentang riba berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat bertransaksi masyarakat di bank syariah. Terbukti dari nilai koefisien regresi variabel pemahaman masyarakat tentang riba (X) sebesar 0,686 yang berarti bahwa apabila pemahaman masyarakat tentang riba mengalami peningkatan 1% maka minat bertransaksi di bank syariah akan meningkat 68,6%. Di samping itu, terbukti juga dari variabel pemahaman masyarakat tentang riba yang memiliki nilai thitung (6,700) > ttabel (1,985) dan nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh yaitu 0,000 yang berarti nilai tersebut lebih kecil dari nilai alpha 0,05, sehingga keputusannya adalah H0 ditolak, artinya bahwa variabel pemahaman masyarakat tentang riba berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap minat bertransaksi di bank syariah.

Abstract

Bank syariah merupakan bank yang menjalankan kegiatan usaha berdasarkan prinsip syariah atau prinsip hukum islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yaitu bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk KCP Plered I dalam memberikan pembiayaan untuk mendukung peningktan kesejahteraan Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) di kabupaten cirebon. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kabpaten cirebon yang berlangsung 4 bulan mulai dari Maret sampai Juni 2022. Adapun tehnik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan salah satunya dengan wawancara langsung mengenai judul penelitian dan rumusan masalah. Dari penelitian ini penulis melakukan analisa data maka dapat diketahui bahwa, Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk KCP Plered I berperan dalam perkembangan Usaha Kecil dan Menengah untuk masyarakat. Dengan adanya pemberian modal yang dilakukan, dapat sangat membantu masyarakat untuk mengembangkan usaha mereka dan mampu mengurangi kemiskinan serta membantu menambah pendapatan dan membuka peluang bagi masyarakat yang ingin memulai usaha. Walaupun bank syariah memiliki berbagai macam kelebihan dan keunggulan dalam mengembangkan Usaha Kecil dan Menengah, namun Bank Syariah mempunyai kelemahan dan mempunyai kendala dalam mengembangkan Usaha Kecil dan Menengah seperti masalah permodalan, Sumber Daya Manusia, serta kebijakan pemerintah yang lamban membuat aturan yang baku untuk kepentingan bank syariah

Abstract

AbstrakSantri pondok pesantren Tarbiyatul Banin Kelurahan Kaliwadas Kecamatan Sumber Kabupaten Cirebon tingkat MA (Madrasah Aliyah) memiliki minat menabung di bank syariah.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pesepsi dan religuisitas santri pondok pesantren tarbiyatul banin kelurahan kaliwadas kecamatan sumber kabupaten cirebon ini berpengaruh terhadap minat menabung di bank syariah. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner atu angket untuk mendapatkan data pengaruh persepsi santri (X1) dan religuisitas santri (X2) terhadap minat menabung di bank syariah (Y). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian populasi, dengan mengambil data santri tingkat MA dengan jumlah 250 santri, kemudian untuk sampel penelitian adalah 30% dari jumlah popolasi dengan jumlah 75 responden dengan menggunakan Accidental sampling, Observasi dan penelitian dilakukan dilakukan penulis pada bulan januari 2021. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan Persepsi dan Religiusitas Santri Pondok pesantren Tarbiyatul Banin Kelurahan Kaliwadas Kecamatan Sumber Kabupaten Cirebon terhadap Minat menabung di bank syariah. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dengan melihat hasil uji F yang menunjukan F hitung > F tabel yaitu 29.990 > 3.12, dan nilai signifikansi 0.000 < 0.05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara persepsi dan riliguisitas santri pondok pesantren tarbiyatul banin kelurahan kaliwadas kecamatan sumber kabupaten cirebon terhadap minat menabung di bank syariah.Kata Kunci: Persepsi, Religiusitas, Tarbiyatul Banin

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi penghimpunan dana zakat, infaq dan shodaqoh di Laznas PPPA Daarul Qur’an Bandung. Metode yang dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan Metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan desain penelitian deskriptif, metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan teknik interview atau wawancara dan observasi. Dari hasil penelitian diketauhi bahwa ada strategi yang diterapkan oleh Laznas PPPA Daarul Qur’an Bandung yaitu Menentukan tujuan besarnya nilai penghimpunan dana yang akan dicapai, Membuat rencana kegiatan dan program yang sedang berjalan, Membuat rencana anggaran kegiatan, Membuat kalender kegiatan kerja, Mengidentifikasi sumber-sumber pendanaan, sumber sumber pendanaan bisa berupa, Personal (Retail), UPZ, Zakat Perusahaan/CSR, dan Event Melakukan monitoring dan evaluasi secara rutin, terhadap apa yang telah dikerjakan dan besarnya. Untuk memperoleh dana zakat, infaq dan shodaqoh Laznas PPPA Daarul Qur’an, memiliki 2 strategi yaitu: 1) Secara Langsung (Offline) dengan melakukan, Tellefundraising, Kerjasama program, Fundraising EventMelakukan kejasama dengan lembaga dakwah, Membuka gerai layanan donasi, Membagikan brosur yang berisikan prograng-program yang dimilki oleh Laznas PPPA Daarul Qur’an). 2) Secara Tidak Langsung (Online) yaitu dengan Membuat website yang berisikan kegiatan, amal, penyaluran donasi, dan donasi online Memanfaatkan platform media sosial.

Abstract

As the digital age progressed, several updated technologies were implemented, with the sole one affecting the incorrect payment method. People now choose to employ convenience while transacting with different types of matters. This research examines the effects of QRIS as a payment instrument on the Cirebon Regency community regarding their lifestyle choices, cashless society, and place of residence. This study utilises data from communities within the Cirebon Regency area. The research method employed is quantitative field research, which uses data analysis techniques, including instrument validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, hypothesis testing, and R-squared testing. The study results indicate that lifestyle variables negatively influence interest in QRIS usage. The calculated t-value of -5.092 is less than the critical value of -1.966, indicating that the cashless society variable positively affects interest when using QRIS. The calculated t value (28.967) exceeds the t table value (1.966), indicating that the variable location significantly negatively influences interest in using QRIS. The calculated t value is less than the critical value from the table (-5.211 < -1.966), indicating significance. Additionally, a third independent variable influences interest, with a QRIS of 72.6%. The calculated F value exceeds the critical F value (280.807 > 2.627), further supporting the findings. This study suggests that QRIS adoption strategies must focus on fostering cashless habits, overcoming geographic accessibility challenges, and enhancing financial literacy, particularly in rural regions characterised by high e-wallet usage and low banking penetration. The recommendation for research suggests that financial institutions implement educational programs focused on the responsible use of digital payments, enhance QRIS infrastructure in rural regions, prioritise practical benefits over lifestyle associations, and collaborate with e-wallet providers to address the needs of the 35% of unbanked users.

Abstract

Microfinance provides access to financial services for low-income people, empowering and increasing business productivity in achieving prosperity. Rural communities are the group most interested in microfinance because it is often neglected by the formal financial system. This research focuses on the characteristics of rural communities in improving the implementation of microfinance through financing marketing strategies. A descriptive qualitative approach is used in this study. The data sources are based on observations, in-depth interviews, and contextual literacy of various documents. The research respondents were female entrepreneurs who received sharia-based microfinance facilities from BTPN Syariah and PT Permodalan Nasional Madani in the Cirebon area. The implementation of sharia microfinance through financial institutions and financing institutions in the Cirebon area has proven to have a positive effect. The marketing strategy of Islamic microfinance institutions in rural communities helps the growth of sustainable micro enterprises. This is evidenced by the ease of access to financing and more flexible terms in applying for financing, being able to increase sales results, and a community approach to financing through rural women entrepreneurs that helps reduce unemployment and poverty rates. The economic impact in the application of the concept of sharia economics encourages the principles of justice and social welfare, in addition to being able to provide access to capital.
