Abstract

Blockchain technology is rapidly transforming global supply chain management by introducing new levels of transparency, traceability, and operational efficiency. This narrative review aims to evaluate the impact of blockchain integration on supply chain transparency across various sectors. Using a literature-based approach, studies were retrieved from leading databases such as Scopus, Google Scholar, and Web of Science, focusing on applications in food, pharmaceuticals, logistics, and sustainability. The results indicate that blockchain enhances traceability and transparency through decentralized ledgers, enabling real-time data access and reducing fraud, errors, and inefficiencies. Case studies show significant improvements in product tracking, cost reduction, and consumer trust, particularly when combined with technologies like IoT and smart contracts. However, challenges persist, including high implementation costs, limited technical skills, and unequal adoption between large firms and SMEs. Systemic issues such as regulatory uncertainty and lack of stakeholder collaboration further hinder implementation. The discussion highlights the role of public policy and data governance in facilitating adoption and calls for collaborative ecosystems that support blockchain deployment. Limitations in geographic scope, methodological design, and long-term impact assessment were identified, suggesting avenues for future research. Ultimately, blockchain holds significant promise for building sustainable, secure, and efficient supply chains, provided that structural barriers are addressed through targeted policy and inclusive innovation strategies.

Abstract

The digital transformation of global supply chains has accelerated the adoption of cloud-based logistics systems. This study presents a narrative review that explores the architecture, benefits, and implementation challenges of cloud logistics. Drawing on literature from Scopus, IEEE Xplore, and Google Scholar, it analyzes empirical and conceptual findings from multiple sectors and geographic contexts. Results reveal that hybrid cloud architectures, IoT integration, and modular microservices enhance logistics efficiency, transparency, and responsiveness. Real-time tracking, predictive analytics, and stakeholder collaboration emerge as key performance enablers. However, implementation is hindered by data security concerns, inadequate infrastructure, poor system interoperability, and human resource limitations. These challenges are more pronounced in developing regions and among small enterprises. The discussion links these findings to supply chain theory, highlighting the role of systemic factors such as policy, digital infrastructure, and organizational culture. It emphasizes the need for supportive government policies, investment in IT infrastructure, and workforce training as critical strategies for overcoming barriers. The study also identifies gaps in the literature related to regional disparities and long-term impact assessments. It recommends future research on integrated frameworks that combine technical, organizational, and policy perspectives. The findings underscore the importance of a holistic, collaborative approach to realize the full potential of cloud-based logistics in building adaptive and resilient supply chains.

Abstract

Stunting remains a persistent public health challenge in disaster prone regions, particularly in Indonesia. This study investigates the implementation of cross docking logistics for the distribution of food aid to at risk households in Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through semi structured interviews with 15 logistics personnel and direct field observations. Thematic analysis was used to interpret patterns related to distribution efficiency, coordination, and infrastructure adaptation. The results demonstrate that cross docking significantly reduced distribution time from four to two days, enhanced product quality by minimizing spoilage, and improved logistical responsiveness through specialized transport and local sourcing. Inter agency collaboration and basic digital systems enabled real time data verification and ensured equitable delivery. The study highlights the practicality of cross docking in overcoming infrastructural constraints and maintaining service continuity in post disaster contexts. These findings contribute to the discourse on humanitarian logistics by illustrating the operational and public health benefits of agile distribution methods. The study suggests that cross docking, when combined with adaptive local strategies and digital integration, offers a scalable and resilient model for food aid logistics in disaster prone regions.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of neuro-entrepreneurship, decision-making heuristics, social media virality, and community-based marketing on the brand equity of food products. Employing a quantitative approach with 350 respondents, the study uses structural equation modeling (SEM) to analyze the relationships among variables. The results reveal that all four factors significantly and positively influence brand equity, with community-based marketing having the strongest impact. The findings emphasize the importance of integrating cognitive, behavioral, digital, and social strategies to build strong food brands. This research contributes to both academic theory and practical marketing by providing a multidimensional understanding of brand equity formation in the evolving food market. Recommendations for entrepreneurs include leveraging neurological insights, simplifying consumer decision processes, harnessing social media virality, and fostering community engagement.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a defining force in reshaping traditional industries, yet its successful implementation requires navigating complex technological, organizational, economic, and regulatory challenges. This study presents a narrative review aimed at synthesizing existing literature on change management strategies in digital transformation across sectors such as manufacturing, healthcare, agriculture, and energy. Literature was collected through databases including Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed, and Google Scholar, using targeted keywords such as digital transformation, traditional industries, change management strategies, Industry 4.0, and sustainability. The review analyzed empirical studies, case studies, and theoretical contributions published between 2015 and 2025. Findings reveal that technologies like artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, blockchain, and digital twin systems enhance operational efficiency and sustainability but face barriers related to resource constraints, cultural resistance, and fragmented regulatory frameworks. Organizational factors, particularly leadership vision and employee skills development, emerge as central to overcoming resistance and enabling adoption. Economic disparities between large firms and SMEs remain a significant challenge, while supportive public policies and international regulatory harmonization play critical roles in facilitating progress. The discussion highlights systemic social, economic, and political influences on digital adoption and underscores the importance of continuous training, public-private partnerships, and adaptive policies as strategies to address persistent challenges. The study concludes that digital transformation is both a technological and socio-economic imperative, requiring coordinated strategies and context-sensitive approaches to achieve sustainable and inclusive outcomes.
