Abstract

Background: Post-training evaluation is essential to assess the effectiveness of health training programs, particularly in ensuring behavioral change and workplace impact. This study aimed to evaluate post-training evaluation of Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) training based on the Kirkpatrick Model, particularly at the behavior and results levels, and to identify factors influencing post-training behavioral change. Methods: A quantitative evaluative cross-sectional design was employed. Respondents included IPC training alumni, their direct supervisors, and co-workers working in primary health centers across 10 districts/city in West Java Province. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed through descriptive statistics, difference tests, correlation analysis, and regression. Results: The alumni demonstrated high levels of knowledge, attitudes, and skill application; however, post-training behavioral change scores were relatively lower. Implementation of the Follow-up Plan showed a strong and consistent association with post-training behavioral change and emerged as the only significant predictor in the linear regression model. The logistic regression model revealed that self-assessment, action plan implementation, and enabling factors jointly contributed to a higher likelihood of behavioral change, although none were individually significant. Conclusion: This study concludes that behavioral outcomes of IPC training are largely determined by effective implementation of Follow-up Plans and supportive workplace environments. Strengthening the Action Plan mechanisms and integrating post-training evaluation based on the Kirkpatrick Model are therefore essential for enhancing the effectiveness and sustainability of health training programs.

Abstract

Abstract

Software testing is a crucial stage in the system development lifecycle. Previous studies on SiUKT have used only the black-box method, focusing on functionality without providing insights into performance optimization. This study aims to analyze and improve the performance of the SiUKT API using an intelligent load-testing approach with Apache JMeter. The testing measures three key indicators—response time, throughput, and error rate—across 10 API endpoints with concurrent user simulations of 10, 100, 250, and 500 users. The results show that the SiUKT website performs effectively under moderate load conditions, with an average response time of 338 ms and a throughput of 8.2 requests per second for 10 users. Under high load (500 users), performance declines, with response times ranging from 6 to 8 seconds, while throughput remains stable and the error rate stays at 0.00%. Only the register endpoint experienced a 100% error rate due to validation conflicts. These findings demonstrate the system's ability to maintain stability under varying loads and highlight performance degradation patterns as user traffic increases. The research contributes to the optimization of intelligent system performance by establishing quantitative benchmarks for API scalability and providing recommendations for adaptive infrastructure improvements to support automated intelligent load management.

Abstract

The partnership between traditional birth attendants and midwives takes place in Indonesia without eliminating the existence of traditional birth attendants as a cultural heritage. The purpose of the study was to find out the various activities and problems in implementing the partnership in maintaining maternal and child health. Design research literature review, search for online articles at the Garuda Portal and Research Gate. The article review is followed by a synthesis using the article summary matrix. The results show the role of traditional birth attendants is the identification of new pregnant women, motivation for antenatal care and delivery by trained health workers, assisting midwives in childbirth, motivation if necessary referrals, education on healthy behavior during pregnancy and postpartum, postpartum maternal care, baby care, events culture according to local customs, and communication related to maternal and child health care. The role of the midwife is to conduct examinations of pregnant women, assist with childbirth, home visits for postpartum and newborn care, counseling on pregnancy-childbirth- postpartum and infant care, recording and referring cases if necessary. The problems are that not all traditional birth attendants have partnered for reasons of trust and economy, support from community leaders has not been optimal, partnership legislation has not been written, communication is hampered by language differences. Counseling to the community about the position of traditional birth attendants and midwives in maintaining maternal and child health, and guidance to all traditional birth attendants based-on the existing guidelines.
