Pengabdian di Desa Pekik Nyaring Kec. Pondok Kelapa Kab. Bengkulu Tengah ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana anak-anak di Desa pekik nyaring mengenal permainan tradisional gobak sodor. Pengetahuan mereka tentang permainan tradisional gobak sodor awalnya kurang tetapi setelah dilakukannya sosialisasi anak-anak menjadi terampil dalam melakukan permainan tradisional gobak sodor. Pada sosialisasi ini tim pengabdi menggunakan metode ceramah, demonstrasi, diskusi dan evaluasi. Sosialisasi ini dilakukan pada tanggal 16 Mei 2022. Peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan sosialisasi ini berjumlah 31 orang dari seluruh jumlah anak-anak yang ada didesa Pekik Nyaring. Sosialisasi dilakukan pada sore hari yaitu pada pukul 16:00-17:30 WIB. Bentuk kegiatan yang dilakukan yaitu berupa Modifikasi permainan Gobak Sodor yang berada di Desa Pekik Nyaring Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah. Pada kegiatan sosialisasi ini tim Pengabdi menggunakan 4 indikator yaitu Keterampilan, Kerja Sama, Belajar dan Displin. Hasil sosialisasi yang sudah dilakukan tim pengabdi terhadap anak-anak di desa Pekik Nyaring Berhasil sehingga berjalan dengan lancar dan baik.

Learning motivation is an important factor that drives students to continue learning optimally. Therefore, lecturers in education units need to conduct studies on student learning motivation in their classes so that they can help optimize student learning motivation. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of motivation of Physical Education students in participating in basic research courses. This research is qualitative descriptive. The subjects involved in this study were 29 students. Data collection instruments used observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The research data that has been collected is analyzed using data triangulation assisted by percentage analysis using 5 categories, and qualitative descriptive so that the research results are easy to understand by readers. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that the motivation of Physical Education students in participating in basic research lectures is in the very high category. From the results of this study, it is recommended for students maintain their learning motivation and increase learning motivation on indicators of being tenacious in facing difficulties

Achievement of learning outcomes is an indicator to measure the quality of the learning process that has been implemented. However, achieving optimal learning outcomes is not an easy thing for lecturers in charge of the subject because many factors influence it, including the learning model and student learning interest while in class. Therefore, lecturers must be able to apply learning models that can increase interest in learning. The application of cooperative scripts with mind map variations as a learning model is feasible to be applied to the adaptive physical education learning process. Classroom action research with 2 cycles was chosen as the research method. The goal to be achieved in this study is to analyze the increased interest and learning outcomes of physical education students through the application of cooperative scripts with variations of mind maps in adaptive physical education lectures. The research data was accommodated using instruments in the form of observation, questionnaires, and written tests. The collected data were analyzed using simple statistics in the form of average values and percentages. The results of the study illustrate that there is an increase in interest in learning and learning outcomes. It can be concluded that cooperative scripts with mind map variations can be an alternative to increase student interest and learning outcomes.

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, manfaat, dan implementasi dari literasi fisik. Peserta kegiatan sebanyak 14 anak binaan pemasyaratan dari Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak Kelas II Bengkulu. Metode transfer ilmu yang digunakan adalah workshop. Sebelum pengabdian, tingkat pengetahuan rata-rata adalah 40%, yang meningkat menjadi 80% setelahnya. Pengakuan manfaat literasi fisik juga meningkat dari 50% menjadi 85%. Selain itu, kemampuan dan kesiapan peserta untuk menerapkan aktivitas fisik meningkat dari 60% menjadi 80%. Hasil ini mencerminkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan di semua area yang diukur.

Olahraga handball menjadi salah satu alternatif yang tepat untuk menjadi sarana olahraga rekreasi bagi anak binaan pemasyarakatan (anbinpas) di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA) Kelas II Bengkulu. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 25 Juli 2024. Peserta yang dilibatkan adalah 10 anbinpas. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah mengenalkan olahraga handball kepada anbinpas sebagai sarana untuk mengisi waktu luang yang disediakan oleh petugas LPKA. Dari kegiatan pengabdian diketahui bahwa semua anbinpas mengikuti dengan antusias setiap tahapan pengabdian. Setiap anbinpas mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan tentang olahraga handball dan pengalaman dalam mempraktekkan olahraga ini. Implementasi olahraga Handball menawarkan lingkungan yang terstruktur dan positif bagi para anbinpas untuk menikmati waktu luang mereka dan mengembangkan keterampilan baru.

This community service aims to improve the knowledge of students in making eco enzymes from fruit and vegetable peel waste as liquid plant fertilizer. A total of 16 male students at the Al Mubaarak Islamic Boarding School in Bengkulu were the subjects of the community service. The community service was carried out on August 3, 2024. Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) was chosen as the method for implementing community service activities consisting of 5 steps, namely: discovery, dream, design, define, and destiny. From the results of the activity, it is known that the average value of participant knowledge before the community service was carried out was 6.2; the average value of participant knowledge after the community service was carried out was 7.5. It can be concluded that this community service activity can improve the knowledge of students in making eco enzymes.

This study aims to determine the relationship between mental toughness and academic achievement among junior high school student-athletes. This study uses a quantitative approach, using a survey to assess mental toughness and academic achievement. The participants of the study were 109 student-athletes from state junior high schools 18 and 2 Bengkulu City. The findings of the study indicate that student-athletes have mental toughness in the moderate category, and the academic achievement of student-athletes is in a good category. From the results of statistical analysis using SPSS version 22, it is known that there is no relationship between mental toughness and academic achievement among junior high school student-athletes (sig.636 > 0.05). However, the findings show that student-athletes with more mental toughness tend to show higher levels of academic achievement. This study highlights the importance of developing mental toughness not only for sports but also for academic success. This study offers insights for educators, coaches, and policymakers to strive to improve athletic performance and educational outcomes in junior high schools.

Pengabdian ini memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan anak dalam memanfaatkan limbah minyak jelantah. Sebanyak 10 orang anak di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA) Kelas II Bengkulu merupakan subjek pengabdian. Pengabdian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 25 Juli 2024. Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) dipilih sebagai metode untuk pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian yang terdiri dari 5 langkah yaitu:discovery, dream, design, define, dan destiny. Dari hasil kegiatan diketahui bahwa nilai rerata pengetahuan peserta sebelum dilaksanakan pengabdian adalah sebesar 5,0; nilai rerata pengetahuan peserta setelah dilaksanakan pengabdian adalah sebesar 8,5. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan anak dalam membuat sabun dari limbah minyak jelantah.

The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the development of boccia balls to find valid and effective children with special needs disabilities at SLB-D.D1 YPAC Palembang City. The study is a research and development (R&D) research and development with the stages of borg & gall. The subjects of the study were students of SLB D.D1 YPAC Palembang City, 10 people on a small scale and 20 people on a large scale. Data were collected through questionnaires and skills tests. Data analysis used percentage analysis and paired sample t-test. The results of the final product of this study are in the form of boccia ball media which are intended for training children with special needs at SLB D.D1 YPAC Palembang City in practicing and playing boccia games. The development product has a very feasible meaning through the validation value of the media expert, which is 100% and the game expert, which is 91.67% very valid with an average validation value of 95.8% very valid. The effectiveness test explains that the developed boccia ball has an effect on improving the boccia game skills of special needs children at SLB D.D1 YPAC Palembang City, which is marked by a change in skills of 24.2 from the previous 17.1 in the early test and 25.4 from the previous 16.8 in the field test. The usefulness of this product is able to improve the achievements of boccia athletes in Palembang City. Helping coaches overcome the shortcomings of the training facilities aspect, namely the very minimal ball equipment and helping to accelerate the development of Boccia sports achievements in Palembang. The novelty of this research is developing media and facilities for matches and training in the form of balls, meeting the expected achievement of match results, getting used to adapting to balls that have standard weight and meeting the lack of ball media for training.

This research aims to determine the professionalism of prospective physical education teachers viewed from eight teaching skills. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with the primary focus of the study being to analyze the professionalism of prospective physical education teachers in terms of eight teaching skills. The population in this study was 83 prospective physical education teachers who attended micro teaching lectures in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. A purposive sampling technique was used for this study. The selected sample had met the established criteria, namely: attending lectures more than 80% or at least 13 meetings, and being willing to be a research sample. Based on these criteria, there were 53 prospective physical education teachers. The data collection technique used a questionnaire consisting of thirty statements. Data was analyzed using percentages with five categories. The results of this study indicate that the teaching skills of prospective physical education teachers are at a good to excellent level, particularly in the areas of providing reinforcement, asking questions, and managing the classroom. However, the aspect of guiding small group discussions still requires special attention in coaching to ensure more equitable learning quality across all teaching skill indicators. It can be concluded that prospective physical education teachers are professional, as seen from the eight teaching skills.
