Abstract

Mahasiswa tingkat akhir sering menghadapi tekanan akademik yang tinggi akibat proyek akhir, persiapan karier, dan target akademik lainnya, yang dapat memicu stres akademik. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial dan manajemen waktu memiliki hubungan negatif yang signifikan dengan stres akademik (r = -0,233, p  0,001; r = -0,349, p  0,001), yang berarti bahwa semakin baik keterampilan dukungan sosial dan manajemen waktu, semakin rendah tingkat stres yang dialami. Selain itu, ada hubungan positif antara dukungan sosial dan manajemen waktu (r = 0,340, p 0,001), yang menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa dengan dukungan sosial yang baik cenderung memiliki manajemen waktu yang lebih efektif. Temuan ini didukung oleh teori Santrock dan Gadzella, yang menjelaskan bahwa mahasiswa dewasa awal sering menghadapi tantangan akademik dan sosial yang menyebabkan stres. Penelitian sebelumnya juga menunjukkan bahwa stres akademik dapat mengganggu kemampuan berpikir, pengambilan keputusan, dan memicu perilaku negatif. Dukungan sosial, yang mencakup bantuan emosional dan informasi dari keluarga dan teman, dapat mengurangi stres dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan, seperti yang terungkap dalam penelitian oleh Zimet dan Weiten Lloyd. Selain itu, manajemen waktu yang efektif, seperti yang dijelaskan oleh Taylor dan Tiger, juga berperan penting dalam mengurangi stres dengan membantu siswa memprioritaskan dan menyelesaikan tugas tepat waktu. Analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa manajemen waktu memiliki dampak yang lebih besar terhadap stres akademis dibandingkan dengan dukungan sosial.

Abstract

The role of the family is very important in the development of children, children and adolescents need loving attention and support from parents. The subjects in this intervention activity amounted to 10 students. Subjects were obtained using purposive sampling technique. The purpose of this study is to see the effectiveness of the intervention given to adolescents, who experience mental emotional problems in the poor category, as well as being able to develop adolescents' mental emotional conditions to be even better and know how to get out in bad conditions. This research is a quantitative experiment using the one group pre test post test design approach method by giving an initial measurement (pre-test) to the subject then given treatment and then carrying out the final measurement (post-test). Data collection uses a psychological scale with the Indonesian version of the Strength and Difficulties Quesstionnaire (SDQ) scale which has 25 items. The reliability test used Cronbach's Alpha technique with a result of 0, 773. Using the paired sample t - test, with the results of p = 0.034 (0.05). Based on the results of the study, the provision of family resilience interventions is considered effective and significant to overcome mental emotional problems in adolescents.

Abstract

Stres akademik merupakan tantangan utama bagi mahasiswa tingkat akhir, terutama dalam menyelesaikan skripsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara efikasi diri, regulasi emosi, dan stres akademik pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir di Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional digunakan dalam penelitian ini, melibatkan 263 mahasiswa yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara efikasi diri dan stres akademik (r = -0.751) serta antara regulasi emosi dan stres akademik (r = -0.778). Mahasiswa dengan efikasi diri yang tinggi dan keterampilan regulasi emosi yang baik cenderung mengalami tingkat stres akademik yang lebih rendah. Hal ini menyoroti peran penting kedua variabel tersebut dalam mengelola tekanan akademik. Sebagai rekomendasi, universitas didorong untuk mengembangkan program dukungan psikologis yang berfokus pada peningkatan efikasi diri dan regulasi emosi mahasiswa. Penelitian selanjutnya dapat memperluas cakupan sampel dan mempertimbangkan faktor lain, seperti dukungan sosial dan lingkungan belajar, guna memberikan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif mengenai stres akademik pada mahasiswa

Abstract

Rehabilitasi rawat jalan merupakan layanan rehabilitasi noninvasf yang dibagikam kepada pasien juga pengguna narkotika dalam jangka waktu tertentu, dengan tujuan memfasilitasi pemulihan klien sehingga mereka dapat kembali berfungsi secara optimal dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Studi ini guna untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas layanan rehabilitasi rawat jalan terhadap kualitas hidup klien penyalahguna narkotika di Lembaga BNNK Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen skala kualitas hidup. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 10 klien, yang dipilih dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak JASP versi 0.16.4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai p pada keempat aspek fisik, psikologis, hubungan sosial, dan lingkungan bernilai 0,001. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pada kualitas hidup klien setelah menjalani layanan rehabilitasi rawat jalan, karena nilai p 0,05. Pengukuran awal dan akhir menunjukkan peningkatan pada setiap aspek, yaitu aspek fisik sebesar 19%, aspek psikologis sebesar 23%, aspek hubungan sosial sebesar 20%, dan aspek lingkungan sebesar 24%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of role play method on early childhood social emotional development in Dharma Wanita Assosiation Bluru Kidul Kindergarten, Sidoarjo. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental approach or pseudo-experiment. This study used a non-randomized pretest-post control group design. With test data collection techniques, observation and documentation. The population in this study amounted to 100 children with a sample of 20 children. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The results of the gain score study obtained a sig value (P-velue) of 0.001 < 0.05 which means that the role play method has real effectiveness. Then the results of the hypothesis test obtained a sig (P-velue) value of 0.001 < 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference before being given treatment and after being given treatment in the form of role-playing methods on the social-emotional development of group A children at Dharma Wanita Assosiation Bluru Kidul Kindergarten, Sidoarjo

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between resilience and psychological well-being concerning parenting stress in mothers with children with special needs. Method: The research employs a correlational study with a quantitative approach. The population for this study consists of mothers with children with special needs in Sidoarjo, specifically those whose children attend Special Needs Schools. The sampling technique used is a composite sampling method based on Cochran's formula, with a sample size of 76 participants. The measurement tools used in this study are the Brief Resilience Scale (BRS) for resilience, the Psychological Well-Being 18 Scale by Ryff (PWB) for psychological well-being, and the Parental Stress Scale (PSS) for parenting stress. The data analysis technique employed is multiple regression analysis. Results: The results of this study indicate that, collectively, resilience and psychological well-being have a significant impact on parenting stress among mothers with children with special needs. Novelty: This study highlights the dual role of resilience and psychological well-being as combined predictors of parenting stress specifically in mothers with children with special needs, a population that has received limited attention in psychological correlational research.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning agility model for special mentor teachers in terms of its relationship with self-efficacy and emotion regulation. This study uses correlational quantitative methods with correlation and regression analysis types by making self-efficacy and emotion regulation as independent variables and learning agility as the dependent variable. The population of this study was special supervising teachers in Muhammadiyah inclusive schools in Sidoarjo Regency aged 20-40 years with a total of 50 people taken through saturated sampling technique. The measuring instruments used in this study amounted to 3 psychological scales, including: adaptation of the Learning Agility scale, adaptation of General Self Efficacy to determine the self-efficacy of special mentor teachers, and to determine the emotion regulation of special mentor teachers using adaptation of the Emotion Regulation Scale. This study concluded that there is a significant relationship between self-efficacy and learning agility (rxx' = 0.345, p = 0.014 <0.05). Meanwhile, emotion regulation did not find a significant relationship with learning agility (rxx' = 0.183, p = 0.203>0.05). The regression analysis results show that f count = 3.210 (p = 0.049<0.05), this value indicates that the hypothesis is accepted. This means that together self-efficacy and emotion regulation have a significant influence on learning agility. However, the influence of the two variables, which is self-efficacy and emotion regulation, is only able to predict 12% of learning agility.

Abstract

General background: Motivation is a crucial factor in students’ academic success, especially in the context of boarding schools where learning environments shape character and discipline. Specific background: However, many students still struggle with low motivation due to limited self-efficacy and inadequate independent learning skills, which hinder optimal academic achievement. Knowledge gap: While previous studies have examined self-efficacy or independent learning separately, few have analyzed their combined role in shaping students’ motivation at the junior secondary boarding school level. Aims: This study investigates how self-efficacy and independent learning contribute to students’ learning motivation at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Tulangan. Results: Using a saturated sample of 75 students across grades 7 to 9 and analyzing data with multiple linear regression, the findings show that self-efficacy and independent learning significantly predict learning motivation (F=56.838; p<0.001), explaining 62.1% (R²=0.612) of its variance. Novelty: The study demonstrates that the synergy of self-efficacy and independent learning provides stronger explanatory power for student motivation compared to analyzing them in isolation. Implications: Strengthening these two factors may offer educators practical strategies to foster motivation and academic engagement in Islamic boarding school settings. Highlights: Self-efficacy and independent learning jointly shape students’ learning motivation. The model explains 62.1% of motivation variance among boarding school students. Abstract

Background: Mental health is a crucial component of overall well-being, yet mental disorders remain highly prevalent and often manifest through negative emotional expressions such as anger. Specific Background: People with mental disorders (ODGJ) in social institutions frequently express anger in disruptive ways, affecting their daily functioning and care environment. Knowledge Gap: Despite the use of various therapies, limited research has focused on structured music therapy as a tool to reduce anger among ODGJ in Indonesian social facilities. Aim: This study investigates whether music therapy can reduce angry emotional behavior in ODGJ at Liponsos Sidoarjo. Results: Using a quantitative pre-experimental One Group Pretest-Posttest design with two subjects, data were collected through observation using a behavior checklist and analyzed with descriptive statistics and the Mann-Whitney U Test. Results indicated a significant reduction in anger behavior (W = 57.5, p = 0.028). Novelty: Unlike prior studies that specify certain music genres, this research employed a mix of songs based on patient preference, demonstrating flexibility in therapy application. Implications: Findings suggest that music therapy can be an effective intervention for reducing anger in ODGJ, with potential integration into routine care programs at social institutions. Abstract

Background (general): The elderly often face health challenges due to biological aging, leading to decreased physical function and increased risk of chronic diseases.Specific background: An unhealthy diet among elderly populations contributes to conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and high cholesterol, which diminish their quality of life.Knowledge gap: Limited psychoeducational interventions specifically address healthy eating patterns to improve quality of life among elderly individuals in community settings.Aims: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of psychoeducation in increasing knowledge of healthy eating patterns and improving quality of life among elderly participants.Results: Thirty elderly participants from Sepande Village, Sidoarjo, were involved in a one-group pretest-posttest design using a structured questionnaire. The findings demonstrated a significant increase in understanding of healthy eating patterns, with mean scores rising from 3.767 (pretest) to 7.900 (posttest). Additionally, improvements were observed in quality-of-life categories, with more participants achieving higher levels after psychoeducation.Novelty: This study provides empirical evidence that structured psychoeducation can enhance dietary knowledge and quality of life among the elderly, an area rarely explored in Indonesian community contexts.Implications: The results highlight the need for broader implementation of psychoeducation to support elderly well-being, and recommend further studies using stronger experimental designs for long-term evaluation. Highlights: Psychoeducation improved elderly knowledge of healthy diet. Quality of life increased after intervention. Community-based approach showed significant potential.
