Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode penyuluhan dan pengetahuan tentang vertikultur terhadap perilaku bertani vertikultur.Penelitian ini dilakukan pada ibu-ibu anggota kelompok tani di Jakarta Timur bulan maret tahun 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain factorial 2x2, sampel penelitian sebanyak 60 orang, yang terdiri atas kategori pengetahuan tinggi dan rendah. Kedua kategori ini dikenai perlakuan penyuluhan metode demplot dan metode ceramah. Instrument pengumpulan data terdiri dari kuesioner berupa tes pengetahuan tentang pertanian vertikultur untuk menentukan kategori responden, dan kuesioner berupa angket guna mendapatkan data untuk pengujian hipotesis. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan teknik Anava dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Tuckey. Hasil penelitian ini adalah metode demplot yaitu sebuah metode penyuluhan yang terbaik dalam upaya meningkatkan perilaku ibu-ibu rumah tangga dalam melaksanakan kegiatan bertani vertikultur.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi sejauh mana kepatuhan karyawan terhadap penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) di laboratorium kimia perusahaan farmasi terkemuka di Jakarta. Penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif ini dilakukan dengan membagikan kuesioner kepada 40 analis laboratorium. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa 91% responden menganggap penggunaan APD sebagai hal yang penting atau sangat penting, sementara 60% responden memiliki pengetahuan yang sangat baik tentang APD. Meskipun tingkat kepatuhan secara keseluruhan tinggi, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa beberapa analis yang memiliki pengetahuan yang baik tentang APD masih belum sepenuhnya mematuhi penggunaannya. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti pentingnya pelatihan dan pendidikan berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan disiplin dalam mengikuti protokol keselamatan. Pengawasan dan evaluasi rutin juga diperlukan untuk memastikan kepatuhan yang konsisten. Dengan temuan ini, perusahaan diharapkan dapat merancang program pelatihan yang lebih efektif dan menciptakan budaya keselamatan yang kuat, yang pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan tingkat kepatuhan terhadap penggunaan APD, mengurangi risiko kecelakaan kerja, dan menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang lebih aman bagi seluruh karyawan.

Abstract

Technological advances have a crucial role in supporting the implementation of process safety regulations and environmental management in the industrial sector. Technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Big Data have contributed significantly to improving work safety and reducing negative impacts on the environment. With this technology, monitoring can be done in real-time, predictive analysis becomes more accurate, and decision making takes place more quickly and efficiently. However, its implementation in Indonesia still faces various challenges, including high investment costs, limited infrastructure, and a lack of skilled workers in this field. In addition, although regulations regarding process safety and environmental management in Indonesia are quite clear, the main challenge lies in consistency in implementation and enforcement. This article examines the role of technological innovation in supporting regulations, the obstacles faced in its implementation, and provides recommendations for optimizing the use of technology in creating a safer and more sustainable industrial environment.

Abstract

Process safety management is a set of administrative standards and regulations relating to occupational safety and health, especially for processes involving hazardous chemicals. This standard aims to prevent the release of chemicals that are toxic, reactive, flammable or explosive in large quantities. The main goal of a process safety management system is to protect workers, the surrounding community, and the environment, while also maintaining the safety of the business and existing assets. Process safety management involves implementing systems and principles to continuously identify potential hazards, assess their risks, and control the hazards associated with high-risk processes. Apart from that, this management also helps companies manage process safety risks and increase productivity and optimize business operations.

Abstract

The Water Resources Construction Industry has experienced significant growth in meeting water needs and addressing hydrological hazards. However, this increase has also been accompanied by a rise in workplace accidents. To address this, shifting individual mindsets to a safety paradigm with a focus on safety behavior can enhance the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) culture at the workplace. This study aims to analyze the impact of safety leadership on safety behavior, specifically in coastal protection projects involving high-risk work such as piling with specialized tools and methods. The study uses a qualitative method with a DO IT approach, collecting data through observations and interviews with project management of NCICD at PT.X. The main informants include the Project Manager, Site Administration Manager, Site Operation Manager, Site Engineering Manager, HSE Inspector, and Field Worker. Several indicators for measuring BBS include top management commitment, OHS regulations and procedures, worker communication, worker competence, and worker involvement. The study results show that the NCICD project has implemented enhanced safety leadership and BBS programs with strong management commitment. However, worker involvement in reviewing procedures and construction safety competence still needs improvement.

Abstract

Soil pollution in Indonesia has become a serious environmental issue caused by industrial activities, intensive agriculture, and domestic waste. Technology plays a crucial role in detecting, monitoring, and managing soil contamination more effectively and efficiently. This paper discusses the application of various technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), environmental sensors, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in monitoring soil pollution in Indonesia, including the benefits, challenges, and implementation recommendations.

Abstract

This paper aims to find out about school environmental management strategies in West Java secondary schools. To guide the study, three research questions were formulated. This is achieved by administering a structured questionnaire in a random sample school of 100 students. The findings show regular lawn cleaning, school complex sweeping and painting, landscaping and flower planting, good drainage and garbage disposal are strategies adopted for managing school environments. While the lack of gardeners to keep the school complex clean, erosion, students and teachers are not responsive to environmental problems, difficulties in instilling students' environmental values due to different care of homes, lack of funds for procurement of work tools/equipment and challenges of waste disposal are some of the challenges. Identified in the management of the school environment. For a better and better school environment for good academic practice, school environmental management team, plans for drainage and waste disposal, consideration of school locations for new schools, janitorial work, terminal orientation programs, development of curricula on environmental management, inspections and school competitions and awards are recommended

Abstract

Manajemen destinasi wisata berkelanjutan adalah pendekatan dalam pengelolaan destinasi wisata yang memiliki tujuan untuk mencapai keseimbangan antara kebutuhan ekonomi, sosial, dan lingkungan dalam jangka panjang. Tujuan utama dari manajemen destinasi wisata berkelanjutan adalah untuk memastikan bahwa kegiatan wisata memberikan manfaat ekonomi bagi para stakeholders, dengan tetap menjaga kelestarian alam dan budaya. Pada konteks wisata, stakeholder mengacu pada semua individu, kelompok atau organisasi yang memiliki kepentingan atau terlibat dalam kegiatan pariwisata. Stakeholder ini dapat mempengaruhi dan dipengaruhi oleh industri pariwisata di suatu tempat wisata. Dalam hal ini stakeholder berupa pemerintah, masyarakat lokal, pelaku industri pariwisata, media massa dan wisatawan itu sendiri. Oleh karena itu, peran stakeholder sangat penting untuk pengembangan dan pengelolaan wisata berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study examines the importance of community participation in monitoring and evaluating the environmental impacts of industrial waste in Indonesia. Rapid industrial growth has led to environmental pollution that threatens health and ecosystems. Although regulations such as the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) mandate community involvement, its implementation is often symbolic and ineffective. This study used a literature review with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected from various academic sources and policy reports to understand the forms of community participation, its benefits, and the obstacles encountered. The results show that approaches such as Community-Based Monitoring (CBM) and Citizen Science can empower communities to directly and credibly monitor environmental conditions. This participation has been shown to increase transparency, accountability, and trust among stakeholders. This study confirms that community participation is a crucial element in equitable and sustainable environmental management. To strengthen it, legal support, community capacity building, access to resources, and the use of technology are needed. Participation needs to be transformed from a mere formality into a real force that drives industry towards more responsible practices.

Abstract

This research is motivated by habitat fragmentation in Mount Halimun Salak National Park (TNGHS), which threatens the biodiversity and ecological function of its connecting corridors. The gap between the theoretical focus on corridor design and the lack of practical management guidance in the field, particularly amidst high human activity pressures, drives the urgency of this study. Therefore, this research focuses on analyzing various ecological corridor management models and formulating an adaptive and relevant framework for TNGHS. This research employed library research with a qualitative descriptive-analytical approach. Secondary data from various scientific literature were systematically analyzed using qualitative synthesis and thematic analysis techniques to identify best practices. Key findings indicate that effective corridor management must go beyond physical design and integrate the mitigation of artificial barriers, riparian zone management, and integrated agricultural and settlement management. It concludes that the TNGHS corridor management model must be holistic, incorporating agroecological principles, multi-stakeholder collaboration, and an understanding of animal movement ecology to ensure long-term landscape connectivity amidst complex socio-economic dynamics. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fragmentasi habitat di Taman Nasional Gunung Halimun Salak (TNGHS) yang mengancam keanekaragaman hayati dan fungsi ekologis koridor penghubungnya. Adanya kesenjangan antara fokus teori pada desain koridor dan minimnya panduan pengelolaan praktis di lapangan, terutama di tengah tekanan aktivitas manusia yang tinggi, mendorong urgensi studi ini. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini berfokus untuk menganalisis berbagai model manajemen koridor ekologi dan merumuskan kerangka kerja yang adaptif dan relevan bagi TNGHS. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan (library research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif-analitis. Data sekunder dari berbagai literatur ilmiah dianalisis secara sistematis menggunakan teknik sintesis kualitatif dan analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi praktik terbaik. Temuan utama menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan koridor yang efektif harus melampaui desain fisik dan mengintegrasikan mitigasi hambatan buatan, manajemen zona riparian, serta pengelolaan pertanian dan pemukiman secara terpadu. Disimpulkan bahwa model manajemen koridor TNGHS harus bersifat holistik, menggabungkan prinsip agroekologi, kolaborasi multi-pemangku kepentingan, dan pemahaman ekologi pergerakan hewan untuk memastikan konektivitas lanskap jangka panjang di tengah dinamika sosial-ekonomi yang kompleks.
