Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas pengembangan bahan ajar mata kuliah jaringan komputer materi Subnetting pada mahasiswa pendidikan teknologi informasi (PTI) Universitas Rokania Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Research and Development (R&D) yang mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri atas 5 langkah, yaitu analysis (analisis), design (perancangan), development (pengembangan), implementation (implementasi), dan evaluation (evaluasi). Namun hanya sampai pada tahapan development (pengembangan). Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen lembar validasi. Berdasarkan hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa E-modul yang dikembangkan memperoleh nilai 3,83 untuk validasi ahli materi termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid dan validasi ahli media mendapatkan nilai sebesar 3,87 termasuk kategori sangat valid digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk matakuliah jaringan komputer pada materi subnetting.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the Routing and Switching e-module using the Cisco Packet Tracer application. This type of research is research and development using the ADDIE model, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This research instrument includes validation sheets from 2 lecturers, namely Media Experts and Material Experts. This research shows that the feasibility aspect of the content and integration of the Routing And Switching e-module in the assessment of material expert lecturers is very feasible. Meanwhile, the assessment from material expert lecturers which includes format, content and language in the Routing and Switching module has a very decent assessment. As for the assessment of the practicality and effectiveness of the Routing and Switching module using the Cisco Packet Tracer application for Information Technology Education students in the 6th semester of Rokania University, it was observed practically. This research concludes that the Routing and Switching E-module using the Cisco Packet Tracer application for Information Technology Education students at Rokania University is very suitable for use in the learning process. It is recommended to develop Routing and Switching e-modules using the Cisco Packet Tracer application for Information Technology Education students in other study programs at Rokania University. Kata kunci: Routing and Switching,Cisco Packet Tracer, Pendidikan, Jaringan komputer

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of virtual learning with distance learning on student learning outcomes. The research method used in this study was Quasi Experiment by looking for the influence between X and Y. The population in this study were students of class XI TKJ SMK Negeri 2 Rambah, totaling 20 students with a sampling technique using total sampling where all populations became samples. Methods of data collection is done by using a test. Test the validity of the test instrument using the product moment relationship technique. The prerequisite analysis test consists of a normality test and a homogeneity test. The results of the study provide that virtual learning with distance learning has a significant effect on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to develop e-modules for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) subjects at Zaidar Yahya Vocational School to increase learning effectiveness. E-modules were chosen to overcome the lack of reference books and monotonous learning methods. The e-module development follows the Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The validation results show that this e-module is very valid and suitable for use, with a score of 99% from material experts and 93% from media experts. The practicality test also received a positive response from students with an acceptance rate of 87%. The e-module design uses the Canva application with bright colors and simple features to increase the attractiveness and comfort of learning. The use of Google Forms for attendance and evaluation further increases efficiency in data collection.The conclusion of this research is that the e-module developed has succeeded in overcoming the problem of lack of book references and inefficient learning methods. This e-module makes it easier for students to understand ICT material better and provides a more interesting and interactive learning experience. Therefore, this e-module is recommended as an effective alternative in supporting the learning process at Zaidar Yahya Vocational School.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran merupakan suatu kegiatan interaksi antara semua komponen pembelajaran yaitu sarana prasarana, metode, strategi dan media pembelajaran serta lingkungan yang mendukung ketercapaian proses pembelajaran. E-modul merupakan salah satu media pembelajaran interaktif dilengkapi dengan teks, gambar, animasi, dan video pembelajaran, serta dapat diakses secara realtime melalui laptop dan smartphone. Masalah utama yang dibahas dalam penyelidikan ini berkaitan dengan metodologi instruksional yang digunakan dalam kurikulum database dalam program Pendidikan Teknologi Informasi. Saat ini, bahan pengajaran utama yang digunakan terdiri dari modul cetak tradisional; Namun, materi tersebut dianggap relatif tidak efektif, terutama mengingat kemajuan pesat dalam teknologi informasi. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis e-modul matakuliah basis dan untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakannya sebagai bahan ajar. Kerangka metodologis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mencakup Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D) dalam konteks penelitian ini terdiri dari fase: definisi, desain, pengembangan, dan diseminasi. Teknik yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, tinjauan literatur, dan metodologi survei, sedangkan teknik analitis yang diterapkan bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menghasilkan produk e-modul berbentuk flipbook berbasis web dan di desain dengan aplikasi canva. Berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi presentase E-modul yang dikembangkan sebesar 73% yang berarti Layak untuk digunakan sebagai bahan ajar sedangka penilaian dari ahli media sebesar 91% dan Sangat Layak untuk digunakan sebagai salah satu bahan ajar matakuliah basis data.

Abstract

The process of learning and teaching in vocational schools must be standardized to the needs. Learning models, methods and media must support mastery of communication skills (Communication Skill). The aim of this research is to find out how effective the use of E-learning and Collaborative Learning is to improve Communication Skill on information and communication technology. Linearity test concluded that there is a significant linear relationship between each independent variable (Use of E-front and Collaborative Learning) with Improved Communication Skill. The normality test to get the results of the research data is not normally distributed, so the data is included in non-parametric statistics and uses the Mann-Whitney U test to get results that between the research class and the control class there are differences in learning outcomes in information and communication technology.

Abstract

The quality of electric power is one of the most important things in the industrial world, with good power quality, industrial efficiency will also increase which will result in savings in production costs. Energy consumption must also be monitored in such a way for the purposes of analyzing electrical energy efficiency. Therefore, the author designed a tool called a 3 phase energy meter that can monitor energy consumption and power quality for industry with a 3 phase electrical system. The 3 phase energy meter is equipped with an IoT system so that the observation of the measurement results of every electrical machine system in the industry can be done at one point without having to go to the location. The hope is that with the 3 phase energy meter, it can improve production efficiency through power quality analysis.

Abstract

Indonesia as a mega-biodiversity country which is the important value for avian conservation in the world. However, negative issues from activities that causes degradation and forest loss such as logging and land conversion into plantation have been considered a factor in population decline indeed for extinction of a species. The Storm’s Stork (Ciconia stormii, Blastur 1896) is a large water bird that felt the impact so the species is classified as endangered in the Red List of IUCN. The first recorded for the Storm’s Stork in Indonesia’s production forest (PBPH-HA) discovered in PT. Ratah Timber. This is a good news for avian conservation in the world, especially for Indonesia. The records are three individuals in a nest on the RKT block 2019 forest. The nest on banggeris tree (Koompassia excelsa) which is protected by management so banggeris is not included list of logged tree. The Storm’s Stork is extremely secretive so they require habitat characteristics that is primary forest, heavy canopy cover, distance from noisely and nuisance. Therefore, presence of the Storm’s Stork indicated logging activity in PBPH PT. Ratah Timber has implemented and committed for sustainablity forest production management especially for conservation and environmental aspects.Keywords: ciconia stormii; conservation; production forest; ratah timber; storm’s stork
