Abstract

The creative industry plays a vital role in economic development, both digitally and conventionally. Indonesia has many industries that are creative and skilled in doing business. The craft business is also diverse. The purpose of this research is to analyze the right strategy for the creative industry of vetiver and bamboo in the Garut Regency. This research was using a qualitative method with a SWOT analysis. In literature studies, a literature review is to understand the theoretical basis for conducting in-depth interviews. Measuring all constructs and research indicators used a research questionnaire distributed in the Craft Industries in Garut Regency. Based on the result, it can be seen that the vetiver and bamboo handicraft industry is in quadrant 2. The recommended strategy given is diversification.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis bagaimana konsep benchmarking terhadap knowledge gap pada PT. Changshin Reksa Jaya untuk menghasilkan optimalisasi karyawan dalam mencapai tujuan perusahaan dan faktor apa saja yang menjadi kendala dalam penerapan benchmarking terhadap knowledge gap di PT. Changshin Reksa Jaya. Saat ini PT. Changshin reksa jaya menunjukkan belum adanya pengukuran yang jelas knowledge gap yang belum optimal dalam memaksimalkan benchmarking. Aktivitas dalam analisis data kualitatif dilakukan secara interaktif dan berlangsung secara terus menerus sampai tuntas, Adapun langkah-langkahnya adalah reduksi data dan penyajian data peneliti menetapkan sumber data meliputi 35 informan, peristiwa, lokasi, dan dokumen. Sedangkan, untuk dapat memperoleh data secara holistic dan integrative, pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tiga teknik yaitu wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan, studi dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian PT. Changsin sudah menerapkan brenchmarking dan penerapan knowledge management kurang lebih selama 10 tahun, namun sejauh ini PT Changsin memang belum optimal dan belum memilliki wadah dan tempat untuk berbagi pengetahuan antara satu individu dan individu lainnya, seperti fasilitas, ruang meeting untuk diskusi tatap muka adapun hambatan ataupun kendala dalam penerapan benchmarking terhadap knowledge gap yang terjadi karena kurangnya keinginan untuk berbagi, rendahnya minat baca. Dokumen administrasi (panduan) belum berjalan dengan baik, kendala penerapan benchmarking terhadap knowledge gap yang sering terjadi diantaranya kurangnya kepercayaan baik antara pegawai kepada sesama pegawai maupun antara pegawai dengan pimpinan, perbedaan budaya, bahasa, dan referensi, status dan penghargaan terhadap pemilik pengetahuan, kurangnya kapasitas menyerap dari penerima. Untuk memantau proses perkambangan knowledge gap managemen harus melakukan review dan mengirim perwakilanya untuk mengembangkan pengentahuanya untuk menjaga penerapan knowledge management tetap berjalan diberikan penanggung jawab ditiap departemen untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan nilai dari pengetahuan dan agar orang yang pensiun pengetahuannya tidak ikut pergi.

Abstract

Kehadiran media sosial mengubah banyak hal. Salah satunya adalah 'Ruang Berita'. Saat ini terdapat fenomena netizen yang lebih memilih mengonsumsi berita dari akun influencer di media sosial, dibandingkan media massa dalam platform yang sama. Faktanya, media massa mempunyai kredibilitas untuk melakukan hal tersebut. Di tingkat lokal, hal ini setidaknya terlihat dari perbandingan yang sangat jauh, antara jumlah pengikut akun influencer dengan jumlah pengikut media massa di media sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis fenomena tersebut. Untuk membuktikan benar atau tidaknya, kecenderungan netizen lebih memilih mengonsumsi berita dari influencer dibandingkan media massa di media sosial, dan mencari tahu apa saja faktor pendorong yang menyebabkannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Peneliti melontarkan beberapa pertanyaan kepada warganet yang diambil berdasarkan klasifikasi tertentu. Hasil survei tersebut kemudian didukung dengan pernyataan beberapa ahli di bidangnya yang relevan dengan topik yang diteliti. Hasilnya, warganet diketahui lebih memilih mengonsumsi berita di akun influencer dibandingkan media massa di media sosial. Ada beberapa faktor yang menjadi pemicunya. Diantaranya karena influencer dinilai lebih up to date dibandingkan media massa, dalam hal penyebaran berita di media sosial. Hal ini membuat influencer lebih digandrungi oleh netizen, dibandingkan media massa. Namun di sisi lain, fenomena ini juga menyisakan banyak pertanyaan yang perlu dijawab. Sebab, bagaimana influencer bisa menjadi primadona warganet dalam pemberitaan, padahal mereka tidak berkompeten dalam memproduksi dan mendistribusikan berita.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the strategies that SMK Insan Mandiri Garut should implement to increase graduates who are ready to work. The method used in this research is a qualitative method, namely a special examination that is different in nature and generally uses a top-down examination. From the results it is known that the Insan Mandiri Garut Vocational School research has not been successful in its implementation pattern. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, the position of Insan Mandiri Garut Vocational School is in quadrant 1. This means that Insan Mandiri Garut Vocational School has opportunities and strengths so that existing opportunities can be utilized as well as possible by optimizing the strengths they have. The strategy that should be implemented in this condition is a growth-oriented strategy or known as the S-O strategy which includes: (a) Improving the quality of graduates through various academic achievements, competency certification, learning innovation, and establishing partnerships with more bona fide parties. business world; (b) Increasing the commitment/loyalty of teaching and education staff by ensuring their welfare; (c) Organizing a competency-based education and training model by utilizing developments in information and communication technology; and (d) Increasing the quality and quantity of prospective new student recruitment through promotional activities.

Abstract

This article aims to provide a descriptive analysis regarding the conditions of honorary teachers in West Java in financial management. This is important because honorary teachers are one of the spearheads of education at the primary and secondary levels whose welfare needs attention. This research also carries out discussions and proposes a research framework concept on the factors that influence this behavior, including their decisions when taking online loans. The survey was conducted online on 68 honorary teachers who are members of the association for further descriptive analysis. The survey results show that the majority of honorary teachers have incomes that are below living standards so their position will be vulnerable to penetration by online loans, especially illegal ones. This research proposes a further research concept on the financial behavior of regional honorary teachers by including the variables of financial literacy, inclusiveness, efficiency and innovation, risk and customer protection, security and confidentiality of personal data, as well as the legality of the loan.

Abstract

The research is aimed at improving the quality of services at UMKM in the photography industry. The creative industries, including the photography subsector, have experienced rapid growth in Indonesia. Therefore, it is important to improve the quality of services in this industry increasing competitiveness and customer satisfaction. The research uses the Quality Function Deployment and Service Quality methods to analyze and understand customer needs, QFD is used as a tool to identify attributes that need to be improved and prioritize improvement. Service Quality is used to measure the gap between expectations and performance in delivering services to customers. The level of customer satisfaction with the quality of X Photgraphy's service has not yet been met, as evidenced by the content of the questionnaire replies distributed to respondents using the Servqual method. Three attributes of service quality that need to be prioritized in order to make improvements based on the classification results are as follows: timely completion of photo results, employees dealing with customer questions and requests in a friendly and clear manner, and comfortable, safe and attractive premises. Action to improve service quality based on the need to minimize dissatisfaction with improvement priority attributes by making improvements including changing company management rules, reducing over orders, adding employees for specific positions, improving the implementation of sops, and adding concepts.

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to provide qualitative and quantitative analysis on the competitiveness of Indonesia cocoa beans post down-streaming push by the Government of Indonesia. Indonesia cocoa has been part of the top three producers and exporters of global cocoa beans and had been shifting into cocoa processed products to create more value. Quantitative analysis from upstream perspective measures the supply concentration and competitive advantage using The Four-Firm Concentration (CR4), Herfindahl-Hirschman Index (HHI), and the model of Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) while value creation impacted by down-streaming is based on published data during the period of 2012-2021. The qualitative analysis uses the framework of Global Competitiveness Index to measure the competitiveness gap of Indonesia cocoa sector based on interview with Indonesia cocoa experts consisted of respected government officer, academic, researcher, cocoa trader association, and cocoa farmer association. The result concludes the domination of top four countries on supply side has shifted from “moderately concentrated” to “highly concentrated”; and confirms the improvement of Indonesia cocoa from value creation perspective by down-streaming the export product. Competitiveness gap analysis compares the current condition with ideal condition of industry; as a result, identify there are one area that in line with sectoral environment and three major areas that need to be resolved to close the competitiveness gap especially in the area of productivity and efficiency, institutional framework, and prices. Government should continue the capacity building program to improve smallholders’ capability and monitor the implementation of warehouse receipt program to ensure the partiality to cocoa smallholders.

Abstract

Pendidikan diyakini menjadi salah satu faktor penting dalam mempersiapkan dan menciptakan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas. Salah satunya adalah perguruan tinggi, merupakan lembaga pendidikan tingkat tinggi harus memperhitungkan aspek kualitas pendidikan yang fokus pada pengembangan karakter, keilmuan, dan keahlian yang mapan. Dalam melaksanakan Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi, dosen memiliki banyak peran dan tanggung jawab salah satu yang menjadi penyebabnya dipengaruhi oleh Personal branding yang mana selain menjadi citra positif bagi dosen berdampak juga terhadap branding perguruan tinggi itu sendiri. Selama proses berjalannya yang dilakukan secara internal atau eksternal oleh dosen tidak terlepas dari faktor lain yang dipengaruhi juga oleh Kemampuan, Motivasi dan Kesempatan pada dosen di setiap perguruan tinggi. Salah satu perguruan tinggi terbaik di garut yaitu Universitas Garut memiliki Personal branding yang baik sehingga banyak calon mahasiswa yang berminat untuk melanjutkan pendidikannya ke Universitas Garut. Fakultas yang paling banyak mahasiswa di setiap tahunnya adalah fakultas ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Bagaimana Pengaruh Kemampuan (Ability), Motivasi (motivation), dan Kesempatan (Opportunity) terhadap Personal branding Dosen Pada Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Garut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan asosiatif. Data primer diperoleh dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 49 responden dengan menggunakan metode penentuan sampel berdasarkan pertimbangan tertentu. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini menggunakan PLS-SEM. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa Kemampuan (Ability) dan Kesempatan (Opportunity) memiliki Pengaruh signifikan terhadap Personal Branding Dosen Pada Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Garut sedangkan Motivasi (Motivation) tidak memiliki Pengaruh signifikan terhadap Personal Branding Dosen Pada Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Garut.
