Abstract

This study aims to determine the predicted demand for office stationery (ATK) for the upcoming year. The availability of sufficient and appropriate ATK reflects good governance within an organization. To achieve this, accurate and data-driven predictions of ATK needs are essential in the budget planning process. In this study, the method used to predict ATK demand is Second-Order Polynomial Regression. The accuracy of this method is assessed using the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). The lower the MAPE value, the better the prediction accuracy. The results of the study indicate that the Polynomial Regression method provides reasonably accurate predictions, with an average MAPE of 22.41%.

Abstract

Shopee is an e-shopping app that concentrates on marketplaces and e-commerce. One of the most popular online shopping apps in Southeast Asia. Aerostreet shoes is a local shoe brand founded by Adhitya Caesarico in Klaten in 2015 and is now the best-selling shoe brand on Shopee. The best-selling Aerostreet shoe products are due to the company often holding massive discounts on Shopee, which reduces product prices and increases sales. Most of the products sold at efficient prices are not always of high quality and cause customer dissatisfaction. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence between customer satisfaction, price and product quality of aerostreet shoes, a total of 39 respondents, aged 17 to 21 years, coming from various professions and having different judgments, were asked to participate in this study. Calculations using the SPSS application, the results of this study indicate that price and customer satisfaction have increased satisfaction in an upward manner while product quality and customer satisfaction have decreased satisfaction in a downward manner because consumers are more tempted by efficient prices than normal prices but guaranteed product quality.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the RADEC and Group Investigation learning models on students' critical thinking skills, as assessed by their level of learning motivation (high and low). The research method used was a quasi-experimental study with a 2x2 treatment-by-level analysis and two-way ANOVA analysis. This study involved eighth-grade students at SMP Islam Hidayatuttauhid Esot. The results showed that learning motivation had no significant effect on the effectiveness of both models for highly motivated students. Low-motivated students were unable to fully capitalize on the advantages of both learning models, highlighting the importance of motivational interventions in improving learning outcomes. The conclusion is that the Group Investigation learning model is more effective in enhancing students' critical thinking skills than the RADEC model. The practical implication of these findings is that teachers should focus on increasing student motivation through differentiation strategies and social support to maximize the potential of these learning models.   Keywords: Group Investigation, Critical Thinking Skills, Learning Model, Learning Motivation, RADEC

Abstract

This study aims to compare the effects of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) and Problem-Based Learning (PBL) models on junior high school students’ problem-solving skills, viewed through the lens of mathematical communication. A quasi-experimental method employing a 2×2 factorial design (treatment by level) was implemented. The sample consisted of 32 seventh-grade students from a public junior high school in East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, divided into four groups based on instructional model and mathematical communication level (high vs. low). The research instrument was an essay-based test administered both before and after the intervention. Two-way ANOVA results revealed a statistically significant effect of the learning model on problem-solving skills (F = 106.68; p < 0.001), a significant effect of mathematical communication level (F = 85.34; p < 0.001), and a significant interaction between the two factors (F = 13.00; p = 0.0012). Dunnett’s post hoc analysis indicated that students with both high and low levels of mathematical communication performed significantly better under the RME model than under PBL (t = 3.56 and t = 3.74, respectively; t₀.₀₅ = 2.49). These findings suggest that RME is more effective than PBL in enhancing students’ problem-solving abilities, regardless of their level of mathematical communication, and is well-suited for implementation in diverse classroom settings.
