Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Menyelidiki keefektifan metode pembelajaran kooperatif STAD pada kemampuan teori dan kemampuan aplikasi mahasiswa tentang model-model pembelajaran dalam perkuliahan SBM. 2) Menyelidiki keefektifan metode pembelajaran simulasi pada kemampuan teori dan kemampuan aplikasi mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan SBM 3) Menyelidiki  perbedaan efek dari metode pembelajaran kooperatif STAD dan metode pembelajaran simulasi terhadap kemampuan teori dan kemampuan aplikasi mahasiswa pada perkuliahan SBM. Penelitian ini penelitian eksperimen semu, menggunakan kelompok eksperimen I dan kelompok eksperimen II. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester VI program studi pendidikan matematika STKIP Hamzanwadi Selong. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Purpossive Random Sampling dengan sampel unit kelas, memilih secara acak 2 dari 5 kelas yang ada, sehingga diperoleh sampel mahasiswa kelas VIB yang diberi perlakuan dengan metode pembelajaran kooperatif STAD dan mahasiswa kelas VI C yang diberi perlakuan dengan metode pembelajaran simulasi. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah tes dan lembar observasi. Untuk mengetahui perbedaan efek metode pembelajaran kooperatif STAD dan metode pembelajaran simulasi terhadap kemampuan teori dan kemampuan aplikasi mahasiswa tentang model-model pembelajaran dalam perkuliahan Strategi Pembelajaran Matematika, data dianalisis dengan uji multivariat T2 Hotelling. Uji  ini menunjukkan adanya  perbedaan efek, sehingga ditindak lanjut dengani uji t untuk menentukan metode manakah yang lebih unggul, ditinjau dari kemampuan teori maupun kemampuan aplikasi mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Metode pembelajaran kooperatif STAD efektif terhadap kemampuan teori maupun kemampuan aplikasi mahasiswa pada perkuliahan SBM. 2) Metode pembelajaran simulasi efektif terhadap kemampuan teori maupun kemampuan aplikasi mahasiswa pada perkuliahan SBM. 3) Terdapat perbedaan efek dari metode pembelajaran kooperatif STAD dengan metode pembelajaran simulasi terhadap kemampuan teori dan kemampuan aplikasi mahasiswa pada perkuliahan SBM.(Fhit= 6,76 Ftab=3,14). 4) Metode pembelajaran kooperatif STAD lebih unggul dari pada metode pembelajaran simulasi pada kemampuan teori mahasiswa. (thit = 2,28 > ttab =2,00). 5) metode pembelajaran simulasi lebih unggul dari pada metode pembelajaran kooperatif STAD pada kemapuan aplikasi (thit = 4,05  > ttab(0,025;66) = 2,00). Kata kunci:   Metode pembelajaran, kemampuan teori,kemampuan aplikasi,    perkuliahan SBM.

Abstract

This research is aimed to explore the cultural elements especially in Sasak architectures in Lombok Island such as a home living (Bale), worship building (masjid), lumbung (sambi) in ethnomathematics point of view. This research uses qualitative approach with cognitive (anthropology cognitive). The interviewees are the experienced custom leader and humanists who has conducted the research on Sasak society. Meanwhile, the data collection method used the participant, observation and documentation. Data analysis on this research is not only based on the researcher is interpretation but also the idea structure of the society.  This research shows the evidence of sensitivity on the use of numbers practiced by Sasak ancestor long time ago in doing the measurement using their anthropometric ability (Ethnomathematics). The architecture products of sasak society also describe that sasak society is more focus on the process than the final products itself which describes the consistency in conducting role and cultural device which control the desire of individual construction.

Abstract

Terjadinya penyebaran covid 19  secara  global  berdampak  pada  semua  aspek  kehidupan  tidak terkecuali pada aspek pendidikan. Dengan keadaan seperti itu pemerintah dalam hal ini menteri pendidikan da kebudayaan mengambil kebijakan. Kebijakan yang diambil oleh menteri pendidikan dan kebudayaan terkait pelaksanaan pembelajaran yakni belajar di rumah berbasis IT. Namun hal ini terkendala pada pemahaman guru- guru dalam penggunaan aplikasi pembelajaran daring. Oleh karena itu Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika memandang perlu untuk memberikan workshop penggunaan aplikasi pembelajaran daring dengan tujuan agar guru-guru gugus V Paok Motong dapat menjalankan proses pembelajaran sebagaimana keputusan menteri pendidikan dan kebudayaan. Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilatar belakangi oleh hasil laporan mahasiswa tentang kondisi pembelajaran matematika dilapangan khususnya didaerah pesisir pantai labuhan haji, selain itu juga hasil kajian dan analisis beberapa dosen tentang fenomena ramainya siswa mengeluh dengan dimunculnya soal-soal kategori high order thinking skill (HOTS) pada ujian nasional tahun 2018 sehingga dirasa perlu untuk dilakukan pendampinga mengenali dan menyelesaikan Soal UN Matematik Kategori HOTS di MTs NW dan MA NW Selayar Kec. Sakra Timur. Adapun tujuan dari kegiatan ini 1) membantu siswa dan siswi MTs NW dan MA NW Selayar dalam mengenal dan menyelesaikan soal UN matematika kategori HOTS, 2) memberikan pengalaman langsung kepada beberapa mahasiswa tentang kondiri riil pendidikan di pesisir pantai Labuhan haji, dan 3) memberikan kesempatan kepada mahasiswa untuk melatih diri dalam berogranisasi dan mengajarkan konsep matematika dengan benar. Proses kegiatan ini meliputi 1) perencanaan, 2) pelaksanaan, dan 3) evaluasi dengan tim dosen dan mahasiswa dan pembuatan laporan. Hasil pendampingan program ini adalah 1) yayasan dan dewan guru merasa terbantu dalam memberikan pemahaman matematika yang benar kepada siswa, 2) 80% mahasiswa dapat mengenali soal UN Matematika kategori HOTS dan 65% dapat menyelesaikannya, dan 3) mahasiswa merasa percaya diri dan lebih semangat lagi untuk belajar karena diberikan kesempatan langsung merasakan bagaimana permasalahan dan pembelajaran di kelas. Dengan dilakukan pendampingan, kemampuan siswa MTs dan MA NW Selayar menyelesaikan soal UN Matematika berbasis HOTS mengalami peningkatan dari sebelumnyaKata Kunci: Abdisomat, UN, HOTS

Abstract

This study aims to develop learning set in the Integral calculus in the form of instructional design or study the concept of the volume of an Integral calculus rotating object that has a potential effect in improving student creative thinking skills based on model submission and problem-solving. The study used the Borg and Gall model development research with the stages of the development of learning design ranging from analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This study used the subject of 34 students of the University of Mathematics Education Study Program Hamzanwadi, which programmed the Integral calculus course consisting of 6 males and 28 females. Data collection using product guidelines or product validation sheets, product practices, and posttests to measure practicality and potential effects product. From the results of the data analysis, instructional design is drafted and designed based on the filing and problem-solving model of products that meet the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of products and feasible to implement. The product developed is also a potential in enhancing the students' creative thinking skills with a N-Gain of 0.73.

Abstract

This study aims to determine student perceptions of the effectiveness of communication and collaboration in online learning mathematics during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study was an ex-post-facto with an exploratory, descriptive approach. The sample of this study was 26 students of the Mathematics Education Study Program at the Universitas Hamzanwadi. The respondents of this study were 26 students of Mathematics Education at Hamzanwadi University, five males and 21 females, which were obtained using the convenience sampling technique. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. The instrument used is a closed questionnaire with answers that are degraded according to the Likert scale and validated by experts. The research data were analyzed descriptively and inferential statistics. The results showed that (1) the perception of mathematics education students was 58% of students giving a negative response to every question about the effectiveness of communication and collaboration in online learning; (2) ineffective communication and collaboration in online learning with an average student perception score of 2.16; (3) there is a positive and significant relationship between communication and collaboration in online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic with a significance value of 0.000 which is smaller than the alpha test value of 0.05 (0.05); (4) the relationship of communication and correlation in online learning is strong or high with a correlation coefficient value of 0.677.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in students' mathematics learning achievement as measured using the testlet model test in terms of school status and gender in class VII SMP/MTs students. This study uses a quantitative approach in the form of ex post facto research. This study took samples from 2 public schools and two private schools with a total sample of 109 students. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using test techniques and instruments using a testlet model test based on local wisdom. The instrument's validity uses content validity with the Aiken formula, while the reliability, level of difficulty of distinguishing power, and the effectiveness of distractors are analyzed by the ITEMAN 3.0 application. The data analysis technique used was two-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). Based on the results of the data analysis conducted, it can be seen that there is no difference in students' mathematics learning achievement as measured by using the testlet model test when viewed from school status or in terms of gender. The analysis results also show that school status and gender are not related to improving students' mathematics learning achievement when measured using the testlet model test.

Abstract

Mathematics is considered as a subject that still far from reality and culture. Historically, mathematics has closely related to everyday life, including culture in Lombok West Nusa Tenggara. This culture can explore mathematical concepts to bring mathematics closer to reality and people's perceptions and cultural aspects as the basis for learning mathematics in schools. Therefore, this study explores the elements of geometry transformation in the weaving of the Sasak Sukarara tribe of Central Lombok from an ethnomathematics point of view. This research is qualitative research embracing an ethnographic approach. Data collection methods were carried out through observation and interviews with cultural leaders and native weavers from Sukarara, Central Lombok. The data analysis technique in this study used content analysis and triangulation techniques. The content analysis technique provides detailed data dealing with the weaving culture and habits of the research subjects carried out at the research location. The data source triangulation technique was carried out by comprehensively exploring the relationship between the mathematical knowledge system and the weaving motif culture and looking at the mathematical conceptions that exist in the Sukarara weaving motif. This study showed that in the motifs of wayang, subahnale, keker, four stars, and alang/lumbung, the concepts of reflection and translation could be used as learning resources for geometry transformation materials.
