Abstract

One of the causes of traffic accidents is the vehicle factor caused by the brake system that is not functioning properly. Brakes are a very important component in a vehicle, its function is to reduce the kinetic energy of the vehicle where the safety of the driver is very dependent on this component. Materials are very important role in the design of disc brakes, the main factor in the braking process is friction, and each material has its own friction coefficient. In the automotive industry there are many types of disc brake materials, so it is necessary to conduct a more indepth study on the effect of the disc brake material to determine the deformation, stress and strain that happen during the braking process. The method we used is to design a disc brake on solidworks and simulate it in ansys 19.2 software to find the structural transient values of gray cast iron, aluminum alloy, stainless steel, and titanium alloy materials. The result of this research is a data on the transient structural disc brake of the Vario 125 CBS motorcycle with the highest maximum total deformation happens in the gray cast iron material of 8.4965 mm. For the maximum value of equivalent elastic strain, the highest happens in aluminum alloy material at 0.012275 mm/mm. For the highest maximum equivalent stress value happens in stainless steel material at 1494.3 Mpa.

Abstract

Increasing productivity is very important for companies to get success in their buisness processes.There is one example of increasing productivity is to increase production productivity in a company. PT. XYZ has 13 Tonnage Injection Molding machines that operate every day, three of 650 Ton tonnage machines are the oldest and often experience Down Time. Factors that affect the productivity of the 650 ton injection molding tonnage machine are Availability, Performance Rate, and Quality Rate. This study aims to determine the evaluation of optimization and maintenance repair of three 650 tonne tonnage machines. The method we used is to find the value of Overall Equipment Effectiveness, then analyze and breakdown the Down Time data and finally Fishbone analysis to find out the factors causing it. The result of this research is a data value of Overall Equipment Effectiveness for 10 days is 42.71% and the main focus of the factors causing Down Time is the machine factor and packaging loss. With the holding of this research, the researcher hopes to provide a detailed reference for PT. XYZ to make improvements or improvisations related to production productivity in the future.

Abstract

Berdasarkan pengujian yang dilakukanuntuk mengetahui keausan pada pahatdengan parameter-parameter yang telahditentukan, maka untuk tingkat keausanpahat yang paling tinggi diperoleh padakecepatan putar spindel 300 rpm dengannilai keausan sebesar 0,14 mm, sedangkanuntuk tingkat keausan pahat yang palingrendah diperoleh pada kecepatan putarspindel 1200 rpm dengan nilai keausanpahat sebesar 0,3 mm. Jadi dapatdisimpulkan bahwa apabila kecepatanputar spindel semakin rendah maka nilaikeausan pada pahat sangat tinggi,sedangkan untuk kecepatan putar spindelsemakin tinggi nilai untuk keausan-nyasangat rendah.

Abstract

AbstrakCara menghemat waktu dan tenaga untuk membuat adonan donat adalah dengan menggunakan mesin pengaduk adonan donat. Beberapa Fungsi Mesin pengaduk adonan donat diantaranya adalah membuat kapasitas lebih banyak adonan, menghemat tenaga dan waktu. Wawancara dengan para wirausaha pembuat donat mereka sering sekali ketika melakukan proses pengadukan adonan donat dengan menggunakan mesin pengaduk adonan donat sering lupa untuk mematikan mesin adonan dan menentukanwaktu pada pengadukan donat, karena waktu untuk pengadukan donat sangat berpengaruh pada kualitas donat itu sendiri. Dalam pembuatan donat di perindustrian rumah tangga kebanyakan pembuatan dilakukan pada malam hari menjelang subuh dan dalam beberapa kasus kebanyakan mesin pengadukan donat ini mengeluarkan suara yang berisik. Maka dari itu tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat alat pengaduk adonan donat yang mudah digunakan, tidak memakan banyak biaya, tidak memakantempat, tidak berisik saat penggunaan dan menggunakan timer untuk penghentian mesin. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan simulasi berbasis cad dan juga perancangan perhitungan pada elemen mesin. Komponen dari alat ini antara lain: Dinamo motor, timer, plat stainless steel, pulley dan juga van belt.

Abstract

The theme of this research is the Workshop on Improving the Performance of Early Childhood Education Teachers in Duren Village, Karawang Regency. Is a pre-school educational institution that prepares students to continue to the next level. The development of human resources, in this case educators, is a very decisive factor in encouraging teacher performance so that an increasingly urgent demand to make changes today's innovative performance becomes an increasingly urgent demand to be implemented by teachers. Educators have a very strategic role in the formation of knowledge, skills, and character of students. Therefore, professional educators will carry out their duties professionally so as to produce more qualified students. Becoming a professional educator will not just happen without efforts to improve their abilities. As for one way to realize the competence of educators is the party who has an important role including the principal, where the principal is a very important educational leader.

Abstract

The Management of Pedagogical Competence and Professional Competence Improvement for Elementary School Teachers through Education and Training (Diklat) must be continuously enhanced and intensified, and should be conducted well to achieve the Diklat goals from the planning stage to implementation and evaluation, even though there are still some weaknesses in the planning and execution of the Diklat. This is based on a preliminary study that found about 60% of elementary school teachers in Karawang Regency apparently have insufficient mastery of teaching competencies, especially in pedagogical and professional competencies. Meanwhile, among the prospective Diklat participants, 37 individuals (61.6%) claimed to have a sufficient grasp of pedagogical and professional competencies, while 23 individuals (38.3%) lacked mastery of these competencies. The Diklat planning process involves conducting a Need Assessment analysis of the training, including a strategic program analysis, a personal analysis of prospective participants and training instructors, and an analysis of tasks related to the training's content and objectives. The implementation phase begins with Diklat packages for Mathematics Adaptation, Science Adaptation, ICT Learning, and the Reading Program. Diklat activities are carried out gradually, starting with School Team Workshops (STW), Teacher Study Groups (KKG), and Teacher Coaching and Assistance Teams (KKKS). Participants, who are elementary school teachers, are trained by MI/SD supervisors and instructors from public and private higher education institutions (PTN/PTS) using inquiry, demonstration, role-playing, and problem-based learning methods. The Diklat is expected to enhance teachers' competency by achieving a high level of mastery of the training material. They should also have a good grasp of teaching competencies and be able to contribute to improving teacher performance. Despite some challenges encountered during its implementation, including: a. A small number of training instructors lacking professionalism in mastering the training material; b. The combination of teacher participants with different educational backgrounds, some having completed SPG/SLTA-equivalent education and others holding a Bachelor's degree, resulting in varying rates of material absorption and reduced motivation for learning among SPG/SLTA-equivalent graduates; c. Insufficient computer facilities for ICT lessons.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan kekuatan dan faktor keamanan antara dua jenis material, yaitu ST 37 dan ASTM A36, dengan variasi berat dari 25%, 50%, hingga 100%. Melalui serangkaian uji dan analisis, ditemukan bahwa material ST 37 menunjukkan kekuatan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan ASTM A36. Selain itu, perhitungan faktor keamanan untuk kedua material menunjukkan nilai 1,07 untuk ST 37, yang menandakan tingkat keamanan yang lebih tinggi, sementara ASTM A36 hanya memiliki faktor keamanan sebesar 0,5. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa ST 37 tidak hanya lebih kuat tetapi juga lebih aman untuk digunakan dalam aplikasi yang memerlukan daya tahan dan keselamatan yang tinggi. Dengan demikian, ST 37 lebih direkomendasikan dibandingkan ASTM A36 dalam konteks kekuatan dan keamanan material. Abstract

In general, coolant is a cooling medium used to cool workpieces and cutting tools during the machining process. In PT Komatsu Undercariage Indonesia, the LNC OKUMA 0002 chip crankcase contained a lot of stagnant coolants. The factor that causes the coolant to stagnate is that the growl is wasted through the chip conveyor and the coolant is carried along with the growl to the chip. Changing the coolant fluid needs to be done in a certain phase because the use of the coolant for too long causes sand to accumulate. Excessive sand can close the cooling duct system. The quality of the coolant can deteriorate due to heat and a dirty environment. In addition, corrosion on the radiator can also result in the deposition of dirt on the coolant. When this happens, the engine overheats easily and triggers a stall. The repairs that have been carried out are examining and repairing the components of the coolant system by adding a coolant channel and a pump that functions to suck the coolant so that the coolant returns to the LNC OKUMA 0002 engine.

Abstract

The boiler engine is one of the strategies in increasing the efficiency of energy use, especially in the process of making tofu, the boiler works as a chemical (potential) energy conversion engine from fuel to heat energy in the form of steam by heating the fuel for that the boiler may always operate with optimal performance , The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the boiler machine during production, the effectiveness values include availability, performance rate and quality rate, the data analysis method is carried out with the overall method of equipment effectiveness using weekly data, after doing research, the availability value is 89.7%, The value of the performance rate is 87.9%, the engine quality rate shows a result of 99.9%, and the results of the calculation of Overall Equipment Effectiveness are 78.51%, it can be concluded that this value has not reached the standard or in other words the boiler engine needs to be reworked time management good production from wa time of machine operating availability (availability) as well as boiler engine performance from production (Performance rate) to increase the value of Overall Equipment Effectiveness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pengaruh variasi sudut belok dan kecepatan terhadap performa sistem kemudi pada kendaraan listrik tipe Formula SAE. Sistem kemudi memiliki peran penting dalam menentukan stabilitas, akurasi, dan kenyamanan manuver kendaraan, terutama dalam lintasan sempit dan dinamis. Tiga variasi sudut belok yang dianalisis adalah 25°, 30°, dan 45°, dengan pendekatan simulasi numerik menggunakan perangkat lunak Solidworks dan validasi melalui perhitungan manual berbasis prinsip kinematika kendaraan. Parameter utama yang dianalisis meliputi radius putar minimum, maksimum, rata-rata, serta kecepatan kendaraan dalam satuan m/s pada masing-masing variasi sudut dan kecepatan awal. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa semakin besar sudut belok, maka radius putar kendaraan menurun secara signifikan, memungkinkan kendaraan bermanuver dengan lebih lincah. Selain itu, peningkatan sudut belok dan kecepatan awal menghasilkan peningkatan kecepatan aktual kendaraan, dengan nilai tertinggi mencapai 8,93 m/s pada sudut 45° dan kecepatan 25 km/jam. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa sudut belok 45° merupakan konfigurasi paling optimal dalam meningkatkan kemampuan manuver dan performa kendaraan secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pengembangan desain sistem kemudi yang efisien, stabil, dan adaptif terhadap berbagai kondisi pengendaraan, serta dapat digunakan sebagai acuan dalam pengujian kendaraan listrik di lintasan sesuai standar FSAE.
