Abstract

ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membuat rancangan desain dan rencana anggaran biaya (RAB) gapura Desa Kromengan yang dapat menjadi sebuah identitas yang dapat menjadi penanda wilayah dan diwujudkan dalam bentuk gapura yang menjadi pintu gerbang. Pendekatan atau metode yang digunakan dalam rangka pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) yang merupakan sebuah pendekatan dengan mengajak masyarakat untuk berpartisipasi dalam proses pembangunan dan pengembangan melalui sebuah kegiatan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini menghasilkan beberapa capaian diantaranya:  desain gapura yang memiliki konsep arsitektural lokal Jawa Timur dengan unsur kontemporer yang diwarnai dengan ekspresi budaya Desa Kromengan dan dapat dipadukan dengan unsur-unsur modern; dan RAB dan desain gapura dibuat secara efisien, menarik tapi tidak berlebihan dan dapat direalisasikan. Produk berupa desain dan RAB yang dihasilkan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk gambar desain dan RAB telah memenuhi azas kemanfaatan dan dapat menjadi solusi terhadap kebutuhan dan dapat menjadi pembentuk identitas Desa Kromengan. Kata kunci: gapura; identitas; desa. ABSTRACTThis community service activity aims to make a design plan and budget plan (RAB) for the gate of Kromengan Village which can become an identity that can become an area marker and is manifested in the form of a gate that becomes the gate. The approach or method used in the context of community service is Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) which is an approach by inviting the community to participate in the process of development and development through an activity. This dedication activity resulted in several achievements including the design of the gate which has a local East Javanese architectural concept with contemporary elements colored by the cultural expressions of Kromengan Village and can be combined with modern elements; the RAB and the gate design are made efficiently, attractive but not excessive and realizable. Products in the form of designs and RAB produced in community service activities in the form of design drawings and RAB have fulfilled the principle of expediency and can be a solution to needs and can form the identity of Kromengan Village. Keywords: gate; identity; village.

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan guru Pendidikan Jasmani Olahraga dan Kesehatan (PJOK) di Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) dalam mengajar anak tunagrahita adalah kurangnya partisipasi aktif mereka pada materi yang disampaikan. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi mengajar guru PJOK khususnya dalam mengajar materi gerak lokomotor pada anak tunagrahita dengan pendekatan Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU). Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan kepada 14 guru SLB-E Bhina Putera. Peningkatan kemampuan guru dilihat dari partisipasi siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran sebelum dan sesudah sosialisasi dengan menggunakan lembar observasi. Hasil observasi menunjukkan peningkatan partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran gerak lokomotor, yang berarti bahwa guru mampu mengelola kelas lebih baik. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kompetensi guru dalam mengajar meningkat setelah mengikuti kegiatan.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the attitudes of physical education teachers towards the inclusion of students with physical disabilities or physical disabilities in physical education learning programs in Elementary Schools. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method. The subjects of this study were physical education teachers in Gugus 1 Praya Tengah; as many as 5 Physical Education, Sports, and Health teachers were directly involved in this study, consisting of 4 men and one woman with an average teaching experience of 12.5 years. The object of this study is the implementation of physical education learning programs in elementary schools, which are incredibly inclusive services for people with physical disabilities. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observations, and documentation. The main instrument in this study was the interview guideline, while the additional instrument was the observation guideline. The research data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman interactive analysis model. Teachers argue that physical education classes are a good place for developing students with disabilities. They realize that students with disabilities can get the same opportunity to participate in physical education programs and develop social skills. Teachers recognize that the seminars or professional training provided are very lacking. This study has significant impacts in encouraging ongoing training for physical education educators to improve their ability to implement inclusive education and in the development of adaptive curricula that meet the needs of students with special needs. This study also emphasizes the importance of stronger collaboration between teachers, parents, and other stakeholders. In addition, the findings of this study open up opportunities for further research in creating adaptive physical education learning models that are appropriate to the local context and can be used as guidelines for more efficient inclusive education policies and practices.

Abstract

Fenomena gaya hidup sedentary pada anak sekolah dasar semakin meningkat, sehingga mengakibatkan berbagai risiko kesehatan fisik dan mental. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pengembangan pojok literasi fisik di SDN 1 Kekait untuk mendukung literasi fisik siswa dan meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya aktivitas fisik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus yang melibatkan 35 siswa kelas 5 dan lima guru. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner dan wawancara semi terstruktur untuk mengidentifikasi preferensi desain, jenis media, dan tantangan dalam penerapan pojok literasi fisik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa memahami konsep pojok literasi, namun keberadaannya di sekolah masih perlu ditingkatkan. Siswa menginginkan pojok literasi yang nyaman, menarik, dan interaktif dengan media seperti buku bergambar, poster olahraga, dan alat peraga miniatur. Guru menekankan pentingnya konten edukasi yang sesuai dan desain visual yang indah untuk memotivasi siswa. Tantangan utama dalam pengembangan pojok literasi adalah keterbatasan dana dan pengelolaan fasilitas. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pojok literasi fisik berpotensi menjadi media yang efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang aktivitas fisik dan gaya hidup sehat. Implementasi yang melibatkan dukungan sekolah, orang tua, dan masyarakat diperlukan untuk menciptakan sudut literasi berkelanjutan yang berdampak positif pada kualitas hidup siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah mengoptimalkan pembinaan prestasi olahraga pada peserta didik di sekolah melalui pendekatan pemanduan bakat dengan menggunakan metode sport search. kegiatan ini dilaksanakan bekerja sama dengan Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG) Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga dan Kesehatan (PJOK) Kabupaten Malang. Metode bimbingan teknis digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yang meliputi beberapa tahapan, yakni identofikasi masalah dan potensi mitra, pemaparan materi pemanduan bakat dan metode sport search, praktik tes pemanduan bakat, analisis hasil menggunakan aplikasi sport search, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Kegiatan ini telah memberikan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam mengidentifkasi bakat olahraga siswa secara lebih objektif dan ilmiah. Pendekatan metode sport serach yang digunakan dalam pemanduan bakat sangat membantu guru dalam mengenali potensi atau bakat olahraga peserta didik dengan lebih akurat. Evaluasi kepuasan yang disampaikan oleh peserta dalam kegiatan ini juga mengindikasikan bahwa kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi secara nyata dalam pembinaan olahraga yang berbasis ilmiah di sekolah. Kegiatan ini dapat menjadi solusi inovatif dalam upaya mengoptimalkan potensi peserta didik dan pembinaan prestasi olahraga di sekolah. Keberlanjutan kegiatan ini perlu diperkuat dengan melakukan pendampingan yang berkesinambungan serta melaksanakan kolaborasi dengan berbagai pihak agar implementasinya dapat diperluas di sekolah lainnya.

Abstract

Study purpose. This study aims to analyze sports participation among elementary school students in Karanganyar Regency, with a focus on comparing participation patterns between rural and urban areas. Materials and methods. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, involving a sample of 180 students from six schools—three in rural areas and three in urban settings—spread across three districts in Karanganyar. Data collection utilized observation, questionnaires, and interviews, with the Sport Development Index (SDI) based on the 2007 SDI KK - OIR 2006 version and an adapted Physical Literacy Knowledge Questionnaire (PLKQ) as instruments. Data analysis was conducted using the SDI to examine the dimension of sports participation, with Microsoft Excel as the analysis tool. The participation index for elementary school students was 0.622, reflecting an average level of sports engagement across the sample. Results. According to the SDI norms, this indicates that weekly sports involvement among students falls within the moderate category. The findings highlight the need for targeted interventions to address disparities in sports participation, particularly between rural and urban areas. Conclusions. Overall, the sports participation of elementary school students in Karanganyar Regency shows that, according to the Sports Development Index (SDI) norms, their participation is included in the moderate category.

Abstract

Background: Athletes with disabilities still have limited access to digital anti-doping education, reflecting low digital readiness and unequal access to critical information. This gap increases the risk of unintentional doping, highlighting the urgency of improving digital anti-doping education for this population. Purpose: This study aims to evaluate the usability of the Haloatlet 1.0 monitoring media, which has been developed as part of an effort to prevent doping use among athletes with disabilities, utilizing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with an iterative model. The research focuses on the usability testing phase of the developed media product. Materials and methods: Data collection involved a sample of 30 athletes selected from 7 different sports. A Likert-scale System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire was used as the data collection instrument. The Curved Grading Scale (CGS) was used as a reference to represent the level of usability of Haloatlet 1.0. Results: The usability evaluation of the Haloatlet 1.0 doping prevention monitoring website yielded a SUS score of 81.17 ± 10.74, corresponding to Grade A and falling within the Excellent usability category (top 90–95 percentile). Conclusions: These findings demonstrate that the Haloatlet 1.0 website successfully provides a high level of usability in supporting athletes with physical disabilities in accessing anti-doping information and prevention resources. Effective anti-doping initiatives require continuous collaboration among key stakeholders to ensure clean and fair sports environments. Therefore, the results of this study offer valuable insights for enhancing inclusive and accessible digital anti-doping education policies, particularly for athletes with disabilities who often experience limited access to conventional learning platforms.

Abstract

This study addresses the limited variations in tactile movement learning, mobility, and jumping exercises that support the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective abilities of blind students with special needs. The purpose of this research is to enhance students' movement, mobility, and jumping skills through the use of embossed mat media in a frog-jumping exercise. A development method was employed, involving a small-scale trial with 3 students and a large-scale trial with 11 students. The study utilises descriptive percentage analysis and qualitative analysis methods to examine recommendations and rationales for response selection. Data from the small-scale trials show the following results: adaptive PE expert 1 at 89.33%, adaptive PE expert 2 at 93.33%, and learning expert at 80.00%. On a larger scale, adaptive PE expert 1 rated 93.33%, adaptive PE expert 2 rated 89.33%, and the learning expert rated 82.66%, yielding an average score of 88.44%. The percentage results for the embossed mat indicate that the product meets the "good" criteria based on the data analysis. The study concludes that the embossed mat media can be effectively used to teach frog jumping to blind students with special needs. It is recommended that teachers adopt this media and consider incorporating additional variations in PE learning for students with special needs.

Abstract

Learning basic volleyball skills, particularly underhand passing, often presents challenges such as inconsistent movement execution and low student motivation. These issues highlight the need for instructional approaches that support both technical development and engagement. This study examines whether positive reinforcement can improve underhand passing performance among junior high school students. A quasi-experimental pre-test–post-test control group design was applied to 72 students aged 13–14 years, who were assigned to either an experimental or control group. Following tests of normality and homogeneity, paired and independent sample t-tests were used to analyze performance changes. The experimental group showed a 16.43% improvement, compared with 11.50% in the control group, and only the experimental group demonstrated a statistically significant gain. These findings suggest that positive reinforcement, such as verbal praise after correct arm contact or immediate acknowledgement following consistent passing repetitions, may contribute to more stable movement execution, sustained attentional focus, and greater student engagement. By addressing the limited number of experimental studies on reinforcement-based learning in volleyball passing skills, this study extends motor learning theory by providing evidence on how reinforcement supports feedback processing, movement pattern stabilization, and motivational learning environments. Practically, the results offer physical education teachers concrete guidance for integrating reinforcement-based strategies into school-based volleyball instruction.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan buku cerita bergambar berjudul “Kerja Sama di Sekolah” sebagai media literasi karakter untuk menumbuhkan nilai kerja sama dan toleransi bagi siswa sekolah dasar. Selain itu, buku cerita bergambar dikembangkan sebagai langkah strategis dalam menjawab tantangan krisis karakter anak dan memperkokoh budaya keberagaman di lingkungan sekolah. Pendekan penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian dan pengembangan model Borg & Gall yang disederhanakan menjadi lima tahapan, yakni (1) analisis kebutuhan, (2) perancangan (desain produk), (3) pengembangan produk awal, (4) uji validasi ahli, dan (5) uji coba lapangan. Subjek yang terlibat pada penelitian ini adalah ahli materi, ahli media, dan siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 24 Mataram. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, angket validasi ahli, dan angket respon siswa. Validasi ahli materi diperoleh persentase sebesar 82,61% dan 84,28% untuk persentase hasil validasi ahli materi yang termasuk kategori “sangat valid,” sedangkan hasil uji coba lapangan pada siswa diperoleh persentase sebesar 89,31% yang berarti produk ini “sangat praktis” untuk digunakan. Dengan demikian, hasil buku cerita bergambar “Kerja Sama di Sekolah” menjadi jawaban atas tantangan dan kebutuhan nyata terhadap media pembelajaran yang kontekstual di lingkungan sekolah multikultural yang masih belum memiliki sarana literasi karakter.
