Abstract

This research delves into the implementation of the method of emulating Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) within the Islamic religious education curriculum using a literature-based approach. The book "Rasulullah Sang Guru" authored by Abdul Fattah Abu Ghuddah serves as the primary source material for this study. The primary objective of the research is to evaluate the relevance of employing the method of emulating the Prophet in the context of Islamic religious education in Indonesia. The research findings indicate that although the method of emulating the Prophet is not fully integrated into classroom instruction, Islamic religious education instructors consistently demonstrate these principles in their daily lives outside the classroom, such as adhering to Islamic dress codes and exhibiting religious behavior. The implication of this research emphasizes the importance of developing Islamic religious education curricula that place a stronger emphasis on the practical application of the Prophet's method of emulation. Collaboration among academics, practitioners, and policymakers is required to develop curricula that are more effective and relevant. This research underscores that the method of emulating Prophet Muhammad holds significant value in Islamic education. The use of "Rasulullah Sang Guru" provides a deeper understanding of the method of emulating Prophet Muhammad.

Abstract

Existing studies insufficiently addresses the combined impact of family and instructional communication on English learning motivation among eleventh graders. This study aims to cover this overlooked area by looking into how these types of communication, along with what students intend to learn, impact their motivation to learn English. The study involved 130 participants who were eleventh-grade students at SMA AL Islam 1 Surakarta. Purposive sampling was utilized, with the use of the Slovin formula. The data were analysed by applying the Smart-PLS application to conduct variance-based structural equation modelling (SEM). The research findings indicate that family communication impacts students' interest in learning, shown by the p-value at a level below 0.05, and the t-statistic (4.527) with a coefficient of 0.284. However, family communication does not appear to have an effect on their English learning motivation shown by the failure to meet the p-value requirements of more than 0.05, and the t-statistics (0.676) is not greater than the t-table with a coefficient of only 0.042. These data showed family communication boosts learning interest but not directly English learning motivation. Teacher instruction increases interest without directly affecting motivation. Learning intention acts as a vital mediator, linking communication efforts to motivation enhancement. The study highlights the intricate roles family and teacher communications play in motivating English learning, primarily through the mediating effect of learning intentions. It suggests the need for holistic approaches to study and improve educational strategies for motivation.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1). Peran manajemen pada Masjid Sholihin, Tangkil, Manang, Grogol, Sukoharjo adalah proses untuk memakmurkan masjid dan peran manajemen pada Masjid Sholihin Tangkil juga untuk mengoptimalkan segala kegiatan dan akitivitas masjid. 2). Optimalisasi fungsi masjid sebagai pusat ibadah pada Masjid Sholihin, Tangkil, Grogol, Sukoharjo yaitu dengan memaksimalkan segala aspek kegiatan, sarana prasarana dan fasilitas guna memberikan kenyamanan dalam beribadah (shalat lima waktu) dimasjid  serta memusatkan kegiatan dakwah dan sosial di Masjid Sholihin Tangkil. 3). Kendala manajemen masjid dalam optimalisasi fungsi masjid sebagai pusat ibadah pada Masjid Sholihin, Tangkil, Grogol, Sukoharjo yaitu kesibukan para pengurus masjid dengan tanggung jawab mereka diluar Masjid Sholihin Tangkil. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian kualitatif adalah jenis penelitian yang menghasilkan penemuan-penemuan yang tidak dapat dicapai dengan menggunakan prosedur-prosedur statistik atau cara kuantifikasi lainnya. Teknik yang digunakan peneliti dalam pengumpulan data pada metode penelitian secara kualitatif dilakukan pada Natural Setting (kondisi yang alamiah), baik melalui observasi, wawancara maupun dokumentasi. Sedangkan tempat penelitian adalah di Masjid Sholihin Tangkil, Manang, Grogol, Sukoharjo. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1). Peran manajemen pada Masjid Sholihin Tangkil, Manang, Grogol, Sukoharjo sudah menerapkan perannya dimulai dari perencanaan, pengorganisasian, penggerakan dan pengawasan. 2). Optimalisasi fungsi masjid sebagai pusat ibadah pada Masjid Sholihin, Tangkil, Grogol, Sukoharjo ini dengan memaksimalkan segala kegiatan, aktivitas dan program masjid. 3). Kendala manajemen masjid dalam optimalisasi fungsi masjid sebagai pusat ibadah pada Masjid Sholihin, Tangkil, Grogol, Sukoharjo ini pasti tidak terlepas dari kendala atau hal-hal yang dapat menjadi penghambat dalam proses optimalisasinya yaitu kesibukkan para pengurus takmir, krisis keuangan masjid dan gangguan dalam ibadah.

Abstract

Indonesia with a large Muslim population is a potential market for the Umrah travel business. Hajar Aswad Mubaroq is one of the companies that strives for the desires of the Muslim community in Solo Raya for the Umrah pilgrimage. Consumer satisfaction is an absolute that can be achieved by providing good service quality. That way, the company can excel and become a trusted partner in organizing Umrah. This study aims to see how service quality affects pilgrim satisfaction. This study was conducted using a survey and analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The participating samples were 80 respondents, who were Hajar Aswad Umrah pilgrims from March to August 2023. The results showed that service quality influence on pilgrim satisfaction. Value of tstatistics was greater than ttable with the value of the relationship between service quality and satisfaction proven significant. In addition, it was found that 17.4% of pilgrim satisfaction was influenced by service quality. Based on these results, the author suggests that it is important to make pilgrims satisfied by providing quality services. There are many antecedent factors that will benefit the company through satisfaction, so more efforts are needed in providing quality service to Umrah pilgrims.

Abstract

This community service aims to illustrate the implementation of Community Service (PKM) between Mamba'ul 'Ulum Islamic Institute Surakarta and Mojogedang Public High School, Karanganyar Regency. The main focus is on strengthening the Pancasila student profile through religious activities, particularly the celebration of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday, held on Friday, October 6, 2023. The community service method involves the active participation of students in various spiritual, academic, and social activities. The results indicate that the integration of religious values with Pancasila can shape students with balanced and integral characters. This community service provides a positive contribution to the students' development and strengthens the bond between educational institutions and the community.

Abstract

This research aims to describe students' learning characteristics based on aspects of Islamic religious education subjects as well as describe the application of differentiated learning at Negeri 1 Tangen Sragen Middle School. The research method used is qualitative with a data collection process through interviews, observation and case studies with the application of learning. The data analysis technique used is triangulation by collecting information from interviews and observations. Then it is compared with previous research and expert opinions to draw valid conclusions. Differentiated learning outcomes give students the freedom to determine content that shows their understanding, skills and knowledge and express it in various products appropriate to their level of mastery. And there was an increase in learning outcomes after conducting a case study with the application of differentiated learning in Islamic Religious Education subjects. So it can be concluded from the results of this research that the application of differentiated learning can improve student learning outcomes at Tangen Sragen Junior High School (SMP).

Abstract

The aim of this research is 1) To find out what efforts teachers make to shape the behavior of new students at the Miftahul Huda Al Wustho Boyolali Islamic boarding school for the 2023/2024 academic year. 2) To find out the obstacles in shaping the behavior of new students at the Miftahul Huda Al Wustho Boyolali Islamic boarding school for the 2023/2024 academic year. In this research the researcher used a qualitative approach with a descriptive approach. The setting for this research was carried out at the Miftahul Huda Al Wustho Boyolali Islamic boarding school. The researcher's data collection technique used three research methods, namely interviews, observation and documentation. The result and conclusion of this research are the homeroom teacher's efforts in shaping student behavior. It can be concluded that the homeroom teacher's efforts in shaping student character include: good school principal management. Teachers set examples for students so that students see and imitate them. Implement learning programs with adequate facilities so that students do not get bored. Carrying out worship activities such as dhikr, memorization and prayer. Always carry out evaluations of activities during learning so that existing problems can be immediately resolved. Factors that hinder teachers' efforts to shape student behavior are bad student behavior, parents who are indifferent to their children's conditions and student environmental factors. Apart from that, there are also supporting factors, so that these obstacles can be resolved, including teachers working together and adequate learning facilities.

Abstract

Bullying pada anak usia dini merupakan permasalahan yang dapat berdampak negatif terhadap perkembangan sosial dan emosional anak. Oleh karena itu, komunikasi keluarga yang efektif menjadi salah satu kunci dalam upaya pencegahan dan penanganan bullying. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan orang tua dan tenaga pendidik dalam meningkatkan pemahaman serta keterampilan komunikasi yang mendukung lingkungan yang aman dan nyaman bagi anak-anak. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di TKIT Taqqiya Rosyida dengan metode sosialisasi dan diskusi interaktif. Materi yang diberikan meliputi pentingnya komunikasi positif dalam keluarga, strategi pencegahan bullying, serta langkah-langkah penanganan yang dapat dilakukan oleh orang tua dan guru. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dari peserta, yang terlihat dari partisipasi aktif dalam sesi tanya jawab serta adanya komitmen untuk menerapkan pola komunikasi yang lebih baik dalam mendidik anak-anak mereka. Dengan keberhasilan kegiatan ini, diharapkan adanya keberlanjutan dalam penerapan ilmu yang telah diperoleh, baik di lingkungan keluarga maupun di sekolah. Selain itu, kolaborasi antara orang tua, guru, dan pihak sekolah perlu terus diperkuat guna menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih kondusif bagi perkembangan anak usia dini.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the implementation of the Talaqqi method in memorizing the Qur'an. This research used descriptive qualitative research method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The Miles and Huberman model analysis technique was used to analyze the data collected, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that 1) the implementation of the talaqqi method is divided into three stages, of which the first stage is the initial stage and the second stage is the core stage of halaqoh, and the last is the closing and evaluation stage; 2) Supporting factors and inhibiting factors for the implementation of the talaqqi method in memorizing the Qur'an are divided into two factors, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors include interest in memorizing the Qur'an and self-motivation, while external factors include motivation from ustadzah and parents and a supportive learning environment.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has given rise to the phenomenon of phubbing (ignoring conversation partners in favor of gadgets), which negatively impacts social interaction, mental health, and adolescents' emotional development. This community service program aims to raise awareness about the effects of phubbing and train students in digital-free social interaction skills among junior high school students at SMP Negeri 1 Andong, Boyolali. The methods used include interactive seminar-based counseling, group discussions, and role-play simulations to encourage active participation. Evaluation results show a significant improvement in participants' understanding, with 85% able to explain the impacts of phubbing (up from 38% in the pre-test), and 60% reporting a reduction in phubbing behavior within two weeks post-intervention. Constraints such as time limitations and facility shortages were addressed by adapting methods and collaborating with teachers and parents. The program recommends integrating anti-phubbing materials into school activities and daily life, establishing "gadget-free zones," and providing ongoing peer-group mentoring. These findings confirm the importance of an educative-participatory approach in addressing social interaction challenges in the digital era.
