Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of use of technology in the learning media used, teachers still use textbooks, worksheet books and several classic learning media. This research aims to develop digital flipbook comic media assisted by Canva on photosynthesis process material, determine the validity and applicability of digital flipbook comic media assisted by Canva on photosynthesis process material. This research uses the ADDIE development model including Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaires and documentation. The test subjects in this research were 2 media experts, 1 material expert and 21 class IV students at SDN 1 Moyoketen. The results of the research show that the level of validity of Canva-assisted flipbook digital comic media on photosynthesis process material from media expert 1 got a score of 78% and media expert 2 got a score of 88%, while material expert validation got a score of 86%, the applicability assessment was taken from the student questionnaire with a score 99%. From this research, it can be concluded that the development of digital flipbook comic media with the help of Canva on photosynthesis material for class IV SDN 1 Moyoketen is valid and can be applied to learning so that learning is more enjoyable.

Abstract

The background of this research is that many teachers only use the lecture method without the help of learning media when learning. This causes students to feel bored and sleepy in learning, in addition to the lack of interest in learning students. Therefore, it is necessary to use learning media that can overcome these obstacles and make learning more interesting and easier to understand. Especially in learning the subject of Science on the Distribution of Flora and Fauna in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to describe the process, validity, and implementation of the development of Canva-based infographic learning media on the distribution of flora and fauna in Indonesia for grade V students at SDN I Pelem, Campurdarat District. This study uses the ADDIE development model. The results of the study showed validity with an average value of 79.51% with the category "quite valid". Implementation has an average value of 96.78% with the category "media implementation is said to be good". So it can be concluded that the development of Canva-based infographic learning media on the material on the distribution of flora and fauna in Indonesia for grade V students at SDN I Pelem, Campurdarat District is "quite valid and good" in the learning process.

Abstract

Pembelajaran online telah diterapkan sejak covid-19 hingga saat ini. Faktanya guru belum maksimal dalam memanfaatkan media pembelajaran online. Hasil wawancara yang dilakukan di SDN Sumberarum 2 Wates Blitar menunjukkan dalam pembelajaran online selama pandemic 85% guru hanya memanfaatkan whatssap saja. Sisanya memanfaatkan media lain seperti google classroom, google meet, dan lainnya. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan kepada guru di SD tersebut dalam memanfaatkan media pembelajaran online selain whatssap yaitu google classroom dan google form. Pendampingan ini meliputi dua tahapan yaitu: 1) pemaparan materi terkait aplikasi google classroom dan google form dan 2) pendampingan praktik menggunakan aplikasi tersebut dalam pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 12 guru SDN 2 Sumberarurm Wates Blitar. Dalam kegiatan pendampingan ini 85% peserta terampil dalam memanfaatkan google classroom dan google form dan 70% peserta akan memanfaatkan media google classroom dan google form dalam pembelajaran pada masa new normal dengan metode blended learning.

Abstract

Introduction to the alphabet and coding for grade 1 elementary school students is important. This is because the alphabet is the main foundation in basic reading and writing. Meanwhile, studying coding for elementary school age sharpens logic and keeps up with developments in technological sophistication. The aim of this research is to produce LKPD (Learner Worksheets) that are valid and practical. The development of this LKPD uses the ADDIE development model. The research results show that the average validity of LKPD experts, material experts and learning experts is 94% in the "Very Valid" category. Meanwhile, practicality was obtained from a questionnaire given to 15 students and an average score of 95% was obtained. So the results of developing LKPD recognizing alphabet letters, coding combinations for grade 1 elementary school students are very valid and practical.

Abstract

The strategy in learning for students must be right, we need an approach so that we can know each child's character. Learning strategies make it easier for students to receive or understand learning materials, and ultimately learning objectives can be mastered by students. The purpose of this study was to determine the techniques and implementation of cultural literacy-based learning, identify social studies learning media based on cultural literacy and analyze the evaluation of student learning outcomes after cultural literacy-based social studies learning. The research method used is a qualitative method. The source of research data comes from primary and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques through interview methods, document studies, observations. The validity test of research data uses source triangulation techniques. Data analysis uses analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study The cultural literacy-based social studies learning technique used by teachers at SDN 2 Tanggunggunung uses lecture techniques and discussion techniques. Cultural literacy learning in the classroom is intended to make students more active, creative, critical and have literacy skills. The media teachers use in cultural literacy-based learning is using ebooks, internet media, and observing conditions in the Tulungagung Regency community, and in our environment. Written assessments are used to determine the extent of students' cognitive abilities, while non-written assessments are used to determine students' affective abilities, especially their ability to recognize cultural literacy.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the impact of using the Quizizz application on learning outcomes to make the learning process more interactive and innovative. The research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of approach. The subjects of this research are 1 teacher and 18 fourth-grade students at SDN 7 Kampungdalem. Research instruments use observation guidelines, test questions, and documentation. The data analysis used includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the Quizizz application as a learning media for IPAS lessons on needs and wants for 4th grade at SDN 7 Kampungdalem falls into the very good category. This is evidenced by the implementation of the Quizizz application, which ran according to the instrument validation with a score of 90% on the Likert scale, while the students' learning outcomes received a score of 96%. This application provides satisfaction to its users, including teachers and students.

Abstract

Thematic learning emphasizes the application of the concept of learning by doing in the classroom and the application of the concept of learning by playing. The problems that occur are that the implementation of learning is still fixated on separate subjects that are not in accordance with the learning themes used, the learning process is teacher-centered, the unavailability of learning tools in accordance with thematic characteristics. This study aims to develop thematic learning teaching materials for PGSD study program students and test the effectiveness of their products. The model used is a research and development (R&D) model with a Dick & Carey design model. The research instruments used were questionnaires, tests, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research are in the form of teaching material products. The results of the validation of these teaching materials obtained scores from learning experts of 75%, material experts of 81.66%, and media experts of 76%. The teaching materials developed are very effective and feasible to use based on the results of the paired sample t test with the results of P < 0.000, df = 29, t = -51.470.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that many students still need to be more disciplined in obeying the rules. This research aims to analyze the influence of parenting patterns on student learning outcomes, the influence of disciplinary behavior on student learning outcomes, and the influence of parental parenting and corrective behavior on student learning outcomes. This research is quantitative research with a correlational type. The population in this study was all students, totaling 74 students. The sample in this study used the entire population. The data collection methods used are questionnaires and documentation. The data collection instrument uses a questionnaire sheet. Data analysis techniques use validity, reliability, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and coefficient of determination. The results of data analysis show that, first, parental parenting influences student learning outcomes. Second, there is no influence of disciplinary behavior on student learning outcomes partially. Third, there is a simultaneous influence of parental parenting and corrective behavior on learning outcomes. It is concluded that good parenting and corrective behavior can improve the learning outcomes of elementary school students.

Abstract

Discipline in learning is the goal of every educational institution so that a good education is formed, discipline in learning is a benchmark in the success of every educational institution. Students at SDN Suruhan Lor Bandung are in an environment where the majority of students fail in the educational process due to the large number of youth groups whose lack of knowledge is troubling the community, under these conditions a student study was conducted starting at the elementary education level. The purpose of this research is to describe the learning discipline of fifth grade students at SDN Suruhan Lor Bandung. The research method used is a qualitative method with the type of case study research. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Discipline in student learning can be seen from the results of observations made by researchers on 15 fifth grade students at SDN Suruhan Lor, Bandung District, Tulungagung Regency, with the results of the ability to discipline student learning to obtain a good category with a percentage of 63.7%.

Abstract

Student learning activity is a process of student learning activities that causes changes in behavior or skills. Learning activities are very important for students, because they can provide opportunities for students to be in contact with the object being studied as widely as possible. The use of learning methods also affects student learning activities. This study aims to describe student learning activities in the Science subject of the independent curriculum for grade 4 at SDN 1 Tiudan. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this research were students of class IV. The object is the Analysis of Class 4 Student Learning Activities at SDN 1 Tiudan in Independent Curriculum Science Learning. The key informants were 34 students of class IV and 1 supporting informant, namely the homeroom teacher of class IV. Data collection techniques used observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data from research on student learning activities in grade 4 science learning at SDN 1 Tiudan obtained a percentage of 76.4%. Where this figure belongs to the good category. This can be seen in the fourth grade students at SDN 1 Tiudan who have carried out aspects of learning activities, namely visual activities, mental activities, listening activities, oral activities, physical activities, and emotional activities.
