Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan strategi rencana impelementasi manajemen mutu berdasarkan ISO 9001: 2015 menggunakan metode Interpretative Structural Modeling (ISM) pada Program Studi Teknik Kimia Akademi Minyak dan Gas Balongan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deksiptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan metode ISM menunjukan bahwa dalam elemen kebutuhan terdapat kunci persyaratan yang dibutuhkan dalam strategi rencana persiapan impelementasi SMM ISO 9001:2015 di Program Studi Teknik Kimia Akamigas Balongan yaitu sub elemen kepemimpinan dan dalam elemen kendala terdapat kunci kendala pada implementasi SMM ISO 9001:2015 di Program Studi Teknik Kimia Akamigas Balongan yaitu kurangnya peran manajemen puncak untuk memastikan bahwa sistem manajemem mutu telah mencapai hasil yang diinginkan dan manajemen institusi belum menentukan rencana perubahan untuk sistem manajemen mutu.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of integrating project-based learning (PjBL) with the Latemmamala cultural approach in enhancing the analytical exposition writing skills of grade XI students at SMA Negeri 3 Soppeng. Utilizing a quantitative research design, the study assessed improvements in students' writing abilities through pre-test and post-test evaluations, focusing on grammar, vocabulary, mechanics, fluency, and organization. Results indicated a notable increase in students' writing skills, with the mean score rising from 1425 to 2240. The standard deviation decreased from pre-test (4.811) to post-test (3.185), suggesting a more uniform improvement among students post-intervention. The paired samples t-test further substantiated the efficacy of the intervention (t(observational) = 7.14, p < 0.05), indicating a significant enhancement in writing skills attributable to the culturally infused PBL methodology. The study revealed that integrating PBL with a cultural perspective not only improved students' writing proficiency but also enhanced their motivation, creativity, and engagement with the learning process. It demonstrated that the Latemmamala cultural theme enriched the learning environment, fostering a closer bond between teacher and students through continuous monitoring and support during the project work. Significant improvements were observed in various facets of writing, reflecting the approach's comprehensive impact. By demonstrating the potential of culturally responsive teaching strategies, this study provides a valuable model for educators seeking to foster more inclusive, engaging, and effective learning environments. It underscores the importance of integrating cultural heritage within a PjBL framework to enhance language education, offering new insights into the potential of culturally enriched PBL. This research contributes to the growing body of literature on the benefits of cultural approaches in education and highlights the efficacy of integrating the Latemmamala cultural approach in improving students' academic skills and cultural understanding

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of a contextual approach in enhancing students’ poetry writing skills, creativity, and engagement at SMPN 1 Majene. By integrating students’ personal experiences and cultural contexts into the learning process, the study aimed to address challenges such as limited understanding of poetic structures, difficulties in self-expression, and lack of engagement in poetry writing. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, involving classroom observations, student artifacts, interviews, and reflective journals. The findings reveal that the contextual approach significantly improved students’ understanding of poetic elements such as rhyme, rhythm, and stanza structure. Furthermore, students demonstrated enhanced creativity and self-expression, producing authentic and emotionally resonant poems by drawing on their lived experiences. Collaborative activities, such as peer reviews and group discussions, fostered a supportive learning environment that further motivated students. However, challenges were observed, including difficulties with advanced poetic techniques and hesitancy in sharing work during peer sessions. These findings highlight the transformative potential of contextual learning in making poetry writing more accessible and meaningful, while also underscoring the need for ongoing refinement of teaching strategies. This study provides valuable insights for educators and curriculum designers seeking to enhance creative writing instruction through relevant and inclusive pedagogical approaches.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan penduduk di Indonesia meningkat setiap tahunnya sehingga mendorong pemerintah untuk membangun gedung-gedung untuk menyeimbanginya. Gedung-gedung semakin banyak bermunculan seperti sekolah, kampus, perkantoran ataupun Gedung pemukiman seperti apartemen dan bangunan. Dalam proses pembangunan gedung ini, penting untuk mempertimbangkan nilai keselamatan dari ancaman bahaya seperti kebakaran. Kebakaran memiliki dampak kesehatan, sosial, lingkungan dan ekonomi yang signifikan. Kebakaran sangat merugikan baik dari segi kesehatan, sosial, ekologi, dan ekonomi. Risiko terjadinya kebakaran di gedung bertingkat tidak dapat dihindari karena faktor proses kimiawi terjadinya api ada di sekeliling kita yaitu bahan bakar, sumber panas, dan oksigen. Bahaya dari bangunan gedung yang bertingkat maupun tidak bertingkat yaitu fasilitas dan akses untuk menyelamatkan diri yang terbatas. Salah satu aspek penting untuk penanggulangan kebakaran adalah penyediaan alat proteksi kebakaran. Jet cleaner, alat yang biasa digunakan untuk pembersihan dengan tekanan tinggi, memiliki potensi sebagai alternatif pemadam darurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas tiga jenis media pemadaman menggunakan jet cleaner: air murni, campuran air-deterjen, dan campuran air-sabun cuci piring, terutama untuk kebakaran kelas A dan B. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian menggunakan Brown-Forsythe dapat diketahui bahwa hasil pengujian menghasilkan statistik uji dengan nilai signifikansi < alpha (5% atau 0,05). Oleh karena itu, dapat dinyatakan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara media pemadaman sebagai Alat Pemadam Kebakaran pada Jenis Bahan Bakar Dexlite dengan Pertamax dan Dexlite dengan Pertamax serta Kayu dalam Lingkup Rumah Tangga.

Abstract

This research aims to develop mathematical learning materials for understanding geometric sequences and series within the context of Malay Islamic culture, which can provide a valid and practical connection to mathematics and enhance mathematical comprehension skills. The research follows the Tessmer 1993 research procedure, encompassing two stages: introduction and prototyping, with a formative evaluation process. The research findings indicate that the learning materials are suitable for implementation, as demonstrated by assessments. The validity of the materials, as assessed by experts, is 93%, signifying their high suitability. The practicality of the learning materials, based on student feedback, is 79%, indicating their practical utility. As for their potential to enhance mathematical abilities, the results show an 82% positive impact on mathematical understanding abilities, as determined from student practice. Furthermore, the mathematical understanding ability of students using these learning materials was rated at 75%, indicating a high level of comprehension of geometric sequence and series content. Abstract

Abstrak. Pemilihan Mahasiswa Berprestasi (Pilmapres) merupakan salah satu strategi penting dalam penguatan kapasitas mahasiswa di lingkungan perguruan tinggi. Pelaporan kegiatan ini  mengkaji praktik baik Pelaksanaan Pilmapres di Fakultas Bahasa dan Sastra Universitas Negeri Makassar sebagai upaya pembinaan mahasiswa secara holistik. Metode pelaksanaan melibatkan enam tahapan sistematis mulai dari sosialisasi, seleksi di tingkat program studi dan fakultas, hingga presentasi gagasan dan pengumuman pemenang, didukung dengan pembimbingan intensif dari dosen dan alumni.Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan partisipasi aktif mahasiswa dari seluruh program studi, kualitas gagasan ilmiah yang kritis dan relevan dengan isu kebahasaan kontemporer, serta peningkatan kemampuan presentasi dan komunikasi ilmiah peserta. Terpilihnya tiga mahasiswa terbaik pada tingkat fakultas memberikan motivasi dan inspirasi bagi mahasiswa lain untuk mengembangkan potensi diri secara optimal. Kegiatan ini juga memperkuat jejaring kolaboratif antara mahasiswa, dosen, dan alumni, menciptakan ekosistem pembinaan yang berkelanjutan dan mendukung budaya kompetitif yang sehat di kampus. Kesimpulannya, Pilmapres di Fakultas Bahasa dan Sastra Universitas Negeri Makassar merupakan model praktik baik penguatan kapasitas mahasiswa yang efektif, memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan mutu lulusan serta pencapaian indikator kinerja perguruan tinggi. Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance students' capacity in information management and news ethics through direct exploration of mass media institutions. The methods used include journalism training, mini research projects, and direct visits to various media outlets such as TVRI, Kompas TV, iNews, Tribun Timur, Herald.id, Derap Hukum, Media Sulsel, Ujung Jari, Koran Makassar, and Beritakota. Students were divided into 12 groups and conducted simple research related to current media issues. The results of this activity indicate a significant improvement in students' analytical skills, understanding of journalistic ethics, and ability to process information in the digital era. Moreover, direct interaction with professional journalists deepened their understanding of the challenges faced in the media industry. The project also successfully produced articles and reports that were published in local media and the department's official website. This activity demonstrates that field-based practical experience is essential in equipping students with relevant and adaptive skills to face the rapidly evolving dynamics of information in society.

Abstract

This study examines the role of polysemy awareness of the verbs get and make through learning podcasts in improving EFL students’ collocational speaking ability. The basis of this study is the finding that the meaning variation of polysemous words often causes collocational errors in spoken language. At the same time, podcasts provide rich audio contexts that facilitate semantic comprehension. The study's objectives were to test the effectiveness of increasing polysemy awareness of collocational speaking accuracy and fluency and to explore the learning mechanisms of participants. The Mixed-Methods Sequential Explanatory Method was applied through a quantitative phase, pre-test and post-test of speaking collocations on 60 EFL students randomly divided into experimental and control groups, followed by a qualitative phase in the form of stimulated-recall interviews with 10 participants. The collocation assessment instrument showed high inter-rater reliability (α = 0.87). The quantitative results indicated a significant increase in accuracy (p < 0.05; d > 0.8) and a 20% increase in fluency scores in the experimental group. The qualitative findings revealed that participants utilized audio context clues to distinguish polysemous meanings before selecting collocations, shifting from a rote strategy to a contextual approach. In conclusion, integrating polysemy awareness in podcast materials effectively improves speaking collocational ability and strengthens the theory of contextual semantic learning. The implications of this study include the development of audio modules focused on polysemy semantics, teacher training, and further research on long-term retention and adaptation of materials based on proficiency.

abstrak indonesia Green accounting disebut juga jenis akuntansi yang memfokus pada pelaporan biaya kerusakan lingkungan dari operasional perusahaan, sementara ESG adalah transparansi perusahaan dalam melaporkan keberlanjutan di tiga bidang utama: lingkungan, sosial, dan tata kelola. Di lingkungan bisnis penerapan Green Accounting dan ESG dianggap dapat mempengaruhi nilai perusahaan tidak cuma dari sisi kinerja keuangan, tetapi juga dari reputasi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji sejauh mana green accounting dan ESG mempengaruhi nilai perusahaan. Data sample penelitian ini yaitu perusahaan consumer non-cyclicals yang tercatat pada Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2021-2023. Data di penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder. Pemilihan sample menggunakan purposive sampling berdasarkan kriteria tertentu. Teknis pengolahan data memakai analisis regresi linear.berganda. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan green accounting berkontribusi terhadap nilai perusahaan, sedangkan ESG tidak memberikan dampak terhadap nilai perusahaan. abstract ingggris Green accounting is also called a type of accounting that focuses on reporting the costs of environmental damage from company operations, while ESG is company transparency in reporting sustainability in three main areas: environmental, social and governance. In the business environment, the application of Green Accounting and ESG is considered to be able to influence company value not only in terms of financial performance, but also in terms of reputation. This research aims to examine the extent to which Green Accounting and ESG influence company value. The sample data in this research are Consumer Non-Cyclicals companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the 2021-2023 period. The data in this research uses secondary data. Sample selection uses purposive sampling based on certain criteria. Data processing techniques use multiple linear regression analysis. The findings of this research show that green accounting contributes to company value, while ESG has no impact on company value.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of storytelling training in enhancing the speaking skills of first-year students in the English Education Program at Universitas Negeri Makassar. The research was motivated by a survey of senior students, which revealed that 15.8% were still at the A1 level and 35.3% at the A2 level of the CEFR, indicating persistent challenges in speaking confidence and performance, particularly in formal academic contexts. The study involved 14 participants selected randomly to represent each first-year class. Data were collected through a post-training perception survey using closed-ended questionnaires covering aspects of fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary, comprehension, clarity, and speaking confidence. The results showed that all participants perceived improvements in their speaking abilities, with the highest agreement (100%) observed in vocabulary, comprehension, and confidence, followed by pronunciation (92.9%), clarity (92.9%), and fluency (85.7%). These findings suggest that storytelling can serve as an effective strategy for improving both the linguistic and affective aspects of speaking in EFL contexts. The study concludes that storytelling is a valuable pedagogical tool that should be integrated into the early stages of English language teacher education.
