Abstract

Not all children have the opportunity to get the fulfillment of the right to develop properly. Therefore, a forum is formed that is ready to facilitate these less fortunate children, one of which is the Orphanage. Al-Marhamah Orphanage is one of the orphanages located in Medan Sunggal. Al-Marhamah orphanage does not have a permanent donor and only lives from the proceeds of the business which is sold in front of the orphanage building. The types of products sold also have low competitiveness, so there needs to be an increase in capabilities in the culinary and business fields as well as optimal empowerment of human resources. Based on this, community service is carried out in the form of achievement motivation training, culinary training, and digital marketing education. In addition, recipe books and other supports are provided as needed. Educational training and debriefing carried out using lecture, demonstration, practice, as well as direct discussion and question and answer. The results of the implementation show that the target can participate in all series of activities with a positive attitude, and have the provisions to be able to realize sustainable economic independence.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of the training is to improve computer usage skills and provide knowledge in the world of work in the community so that it can improve the wheels of the economy. Methodology: The methods used in this service are lectures, discussions, and practices from each stage of training on the use of Microsoft Office such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Power Point, then the introduction and practice of using work applications. The work applications introduced were software applications such as LinkedIn, JobStreet, and KitaLulus. Results: As a result of this training, the participants were able to understand and enthusiastically participate in all activities. The trainees were able to complete practical tasks that had been given well. Limitations: The limitations of this community service need to increase the use of soft offices further, not only the basics, so that participants can further develop their ability to use soft offices. Contribution: This training can add to the skills of trainees in using Microsoft Office and introduce work applications so that they can later become provisions in the world of work. As long as it runs, this service has produced several outputs such as (1) submitted Scientific Journal articles, (2) mass media publications, (3) publication of activity videos, (4) increased competitiveness, (5) increased application of science and technology, and (6) Intellectual Property Rights (HAKI) from cinematography.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of prophetic leadership and job satisfaction toward organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) on employees of Prof. Dr. H. Kadirun Yahya Foundation in Medan. The study used a survey model involving 64 employees of Prof. Dr. H. Kadirun Yahya Foundation in Medan. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicated that prophetic leadership and job satisfaction significantly positively influenced organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). The coefficient of the determinant (R²) of prophetic leadership and job satisfaction showed a value of 0.134, meaning that variation of organizational citizenship behavior is influenced by prophetic leadership and job satisfaction as much as 13.4%, and other factors influenced the rest.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji proses alih media arsip kaset pita Rapat RUU Perkoperasian Tahun 1992 di Arsip Nasional Republik Indonesia. Proses alih media arsip bertujuan untuk menjaga kelestarian informasi serta meningkatkan aksesibilitas arsip dalam format digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kendala yang muncul dalam pelaksanaan alih media serta merumuskan langkah-langkah strategis guna meningkatkan efektivitasnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses alih media arsip kaset pita masih menghadapi beberapa hambatan, seperti kondisi fisik arsip yang kurang baik, keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana, serta kesalahan dalam deskripsi arsip. Selain itu, kebijakan pembatasan akses juga memengaruhi pemanfaatan arsip digital yang dihasilkan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan optimalisasi dalam teknologi pemindaian, sistem penyimpanan digital, serta peningkatn akurasi deskripsi arsip guna mendukung pelaksanaan alih media yang lebih efektif di masa mendatang. This article examines the process of media transfer of cassette tape archives of the 1992 Cooperatives Bill Meeting at the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia. The process of media transfer of archives aims to maintain the sustainability of information and increase the accessibility of archives in digital format. This study aims to identify obstacles that arise in the implementation of media transfer and formulate strategic steps to increase its effectiveness. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The results of the study indicate that the process of media transfer of cassette tape archives still faces several obstacles, such as poor physical conditions of archives, limited facilities and infrastructure, and errors in archive descriptions. In addition, access policies also affect the utilization of the resulting digital archives. Therefore, optimization of scanning technology, digital storage systems, and increasing the accuracy of archive descriptions are needed to support more effective media transfer implementation in the future.

Abstract

Transformasi digital menciptakan tantangan kompleks dalam manajemen arsip, khususnya bagi media online dengan volume konten tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang model website arsip digital berbasis Google Sites sebagai solusi sentralisasi dan temu kembali arsip di BandungBergerak. Observasi awal menunjukkan bahwa arsip digital di BandungBergerak masih tersebar di perangkat pribadi staf, yang mengancam memori institusional dan menghambat efisiensi kerja. Metode kualitatif digunakan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan fungsional website. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Wawancara melibatkan empat informan: pengelola editorial, pengelola multimedia, pengelola data dan media sosial, serta pengelola bisnis dan kemitraan. Hasilnya adalah prototipe website arsip minim biaya yang mengintegrasikan Google Sites, Google Drive, dan Google Spreadsheets. Model ini berhasil menyediakan platform untuk temu kembali arsip dalam empat kategori: Persuratan, Keuangan, Multimedia, dan Artikel. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi ilmiah berupa model pemanfaatan platform non-kearsipan sebagai solusi manajemen arsip digital bagi organisasi dengan keterbatasan sumber daya. Meskipun memiliki keterbatasan, Google Sites merupakan solusi strategis untuk pengelolaan arsip di organisasi media independen.

Abstract

Arsip vital merupakan jenis arsip yang memiliki nilai strategis bagi keberlangsungan operasional dan hukum suatu organisasi, termasuk di lingkungan PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero). Kerusakan atau kehilangan arsip vital dapat menimbulkan dampak administratif, hukum, dan finansial yang signifikan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sistem pendukung yang andal untuk menjamin keberlanjutan pengelolaan arsip, salah satunya melalui penerapan teknologi Uninterruptible Power Supply. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran implementasi Uninterruptible Power Supply dalam mendukung pengelolaan arsip vital Asset Ownership Document and Files (USDA) PT KAI (Persero), khususnya dalam menjaga stabilitas sistem dan meminimalkan risiko kehilangan data akibat gangguan listrik. Metode kajian meliputi observasi langsung terhadap infrastruktur kelistrikan dan sistem kearsipan, wawancara dengan pegawai dan teknisi terkait, serta telaah dokumen dan literatur. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Uninterruptible Power Supply berperan penting dalam menjaga kontinuitas operasional perangkat elektronik dan server arsip digital selama pemadaman listrik, serta menyediakan waktu yang cukup untuk proses pencadangan atau penghentian sistem secara aman. Dengan demikian, Uninterruptible Power Supply tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai perangkat pendukung kelistrikan, tetapi juga sebagai bagian integral dari sistem manajemen risiko dalam pengelolaan arsip vital. Vital archives are type of archive that has strategic value for the operational and legal continuity of an organization, including within PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero). Damage or loss of vital archives can have significant administrative, legal, and financial impacts. Therefore, a reliable support system is needed to ensure the sustainability of archive management, one of which is through the implementation of Uninterruptible Power Supply technology. This study aims to analyze the role of Uninterruptible Power Supply implementation in supporting the management of vital archives of Asset Ownership Document and Files (USDA) of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), particularly in maintaining system stability and minimizing the risk of data loss due to power outages. The study methods include direct observation of the electrical infrastructure and archiving system, interviews with related employees and technicians, and document and literature review. The study results indicate that UPS plays crucial role in maintaining the operational continuity of electronic devices and digital archive servers during power outages, as providing sufficient time for backup processes or safe system shutdowns. Uninterruptible Power Supply functions not only as an electrical support device, but also an integral part of the risk management system in the management of vital archives.

Abstract

Transformasi pengelolaan dokumen dari sistem konvensional menuju digital menuntut tidak hanya kesiapan teknologi, tetapi juga kualitas sumber daya manusia yang berlandaskan etos kerja dan etika profesi arsiparis. Dalam konteks PT Pos Indonesia sebagai Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN), implementasi Aplikasi Naskah Dinas Elektronis (NDE) menjadi instrumen utama dalam menjamin akuntabilitas, keamanan, dan keabsahan dokumen digital. Namun, efektivitas sistem tersebut sangat dipengaruhi oleh perilaku profesional pengelolanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan etos kerja dan etika profesi arsiparis dalam pengelolaan dokumen digital melalui NDE di PT Pos Indonesia. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, melalui teknik observasi, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa etos kerja pegawai tergolong positif, tercermin dari ketelitian dalam pemrosesan dokumen, kedisiplinan terhadap alur verifikasi berjenjang, serta kemampuan adaptasi terhadap sistem digital. Namun demikian, ditemukan sejumlah persoalan etika profesi, antara lain belum optimalnya klasifikasi arsip, penggunaan tanda tangan digital yang belum menyeluruh, penerapan Sistem Keamanan dan Klasifikasi Akses Dokumen (SKKAD) yang belum efektif, serta pembatasan akses yang berpotensi menghambat akuntabilitas. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan tata kelola arsip digital tidak hanya ditentukan oleh etos kerja, tetapi juga oleh konsistensi penerapan etika profesi arsiparis. Oleh karena itu, penguatan kompetensi, internalisasi kode etik, dan penyempurnaan kebijakan kearsipan digital menjadi faktor kunci dalam mewujudkan pengelolaan arsip digital yang aman, akurat, dan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan. The transformation of document management from conventional systems to digital platforms requires not only technological readiness but also the quality of human resources grounded in strong work ethics and archivists’ professional ethics. In the context of PT Pos Indonesia as a State-Owned Enterprise (SOE), the implementation of the Electronic Official Document Application (Naskah Dinas Elektronis/NDE) serves as a key instrument to ensure accountability, security, and authenticity of digital documents. However, the effectiveness of this system is highly influenced by the professional behavior of its users. This study aims to analyze the implementation of work ethics and archivists’ professional ethics in digital document management through the NDE application at PT Pos Indonesia. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method, with data collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis. The findings indicate that employees demonstrate a positive work ethic, reflected in the accuracy of document processing, discipline in adhering to hierarchical verification procedures, and adaptability to digital systems. Nevertheless, several ethical issues remain, including suboptimal archival classification, incomplete implementation of digital signatures, ineffective application of the Document Access Classification and Security System (SKKAD), and access restrictions that may hinder accountability. These findings confirm that effective digital archival governance is determined not only by work ethic but also by the consistent application of archivists’ professional ethics. Therefore, strengthening competencies, internalizing ethical standards, and improving digital archival policies are essential to achieve secure, accurate, and accountable digital document management.

Abstract

Arsip vital merupakan aset strategis bagi keberlangsungan operasional perusahaan, terutama dalam menjaga dokumen kepemilikan aset yang dimiliki oleh PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perlindungan arsip vital yang dilakukan oleh PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) dalam mengurangi resiko terjadinya kerusakan maupun kehilangan aset yang dimiliki. Dalam studi ini, dilakukannya pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi secara langsung dan wawancara dengan para pelaku arsip di USDA PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa upaya perlindungan arsip vital yang sudah dilakukan oleh USDA PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) sudah dapat dikatakan cukup baik, dikarenakan pengelolaan arsip vital di PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) mengimplementasikan standar internasional yaitu, ISO 9001:2015 tentang sistem manajemen mutu.  Akan tetapi, ada beberapa hal yang menjadi kekurangan yang perlu diperhatikan, terutama untuk dokumen sensitif seperti aset kepemilikan yang rentan terhadap kerusakan dan hilangnya fisik arsip serta ancaman digital dengan menerapkan beberapa teknologi seperti Stegowatermark dan Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), juga menyiapkan sarana prasarana yang memadai dan SDM yang kompeten, untuk menjamin integritas, keaslian, dan aksesibilitas arsip vital perusahaan dalam jangka panjang guna menangani ancaman digital yang semakin canggih seperti pemalsuan dokumen digital, serta akses ilegal terhadap informasi rahasia perusahaan.  Vital archives are strategic assets for the continuity of company operations, especially in maintaining asset ownership documents owned by PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero). This study aims to improve the protection of vital archives carried out by PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) in reducing the risk of damage or loss of assets owned. In this study, a qualitative descriptive approach was carried out with data collection methods through direct observation and interviews with archive actors at USDA PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero). The results of the study indicate that the efforts to protect vital archives that have been carried out by USDA PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) can be said to be quite good, because the management of vital archives at PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) implements international standards, namely, ISO 9001: 2015 concerning quality management systems. However, there are several shortcomings that need to be considered, especially for sensitive documents such as ownership assets that are vulnerable to damage and loss of physical archives and digital threats by implementing several technologies such as Stegowatermark and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), as well as preparing adequate infrastructure and competent Human Resources, to ensure the integrity, authenticity, and accessibility of vital company archives in the long term to deal with increasingly sophisticated digital threats such as digital document forgery, and illegal access to confidential company information.
