Abstract

Tourism villages can also be seen as a tourism concept that emphasizes the participation of local communities. However, community participation in developing tourist villages faces various challenges, such as a lack of knowledge and ability in managing tourist villages. Manggarai Regency is a district in East Nusa Tenggara Province which has 29 tourist villages. Therefore, this activity aims to increase community knowledge in managing tourist villages. The implementation of this PKM uses lecture, discussion and field practice methods. The training material consists of 8 materials, namely 1) Regional Tourism Development Policies and Programs for Tourism Village Development, 2) Tourism Villages in the Tourism System, 3) Building Tourism Aware Village Communities Through Sapta Pesona, 4) Building Management Institutions Tourism Villages, 5) Development and Management of Community-Based Tourism Products, 6) Application of cleanliness, health, safety and environmental sustainability in the management of tourist villages, 7) Evaluation of Tourism Village Management Practices Based on Training Participants' Experiences, and 8) Management of Empowered Tourism Villages Competitive and Sustainable. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test, it shows that there has been an increase in the knowledge of the training participants. Thus, holding tourism village management training can increase community knowledge.

Abstract

Mules Island, a small island in the Flores archipelago, possesses a diverse array of tourist attractions. Unfortunately, the island, which falls within the settlement area of the Manggarai ethnic group, lacks facilities to support the development of tourism activities. Thus, designing a tourism centre to address these needs is necessary. At the same time, the local community faces challenges related to cultural identity. Mules Island is home to a multi-ethnic population, with no single dominant ethnic group, a condition that raises the risk of cultural assimilation potentially eroding all existing ethnic identities. Preliminary studies indicate that the residents of Mules identify themselves as part of the Manggarai community. Consequently, Manggarai culture is an apt source of inspiration for the architectural design of the proposed tourism center. The design draws inspiration from two Manggarai cultural elements: the traditional Manggarai house known as Mbaru Niang and the distinctive Manggarai rice field pattern referred to as Sawah Lodok. These cultural forms are adapted into the design through a process of form transformation, employing both traditional and borrowing methods. The proposed facilities include a Tourist Information Center, cottages, gazebos, an observation tower, a plaza with food stalls, a plaza with souvenir kiosks, an amphitheater, a prayer room, and public restrooms. All structures incorporate plan and roof forms derived from the transformation of Mbaru Niang, while the site layout reflects the transformed pattern of Sawah Lodok. The architectural design of the tourism center on Mules Island has promoted the identity and the beauty of Manggarai culture while fulfilling its functional role in supporting tourism development activities.

Abstract

The Wae Bobok ecotourism destination is one of the alternative tourist attractions around Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai Regency. As an alternative to tourism, the development of the Wae Bobok destination tends to be slow compared to other tourist destinations. One of the main problems is the ability of the local managers to promote the Waebobok destination and the ability to interpret tourist objects in Wae Bobok. Therefore, this community service aim is training in developing the ability to compose narratives by answering 6 question words, namely Apa (what), Siapa (who), Kapan (when), Dimana (where), Mengapa (why), and Bagaimana (how) (5W+1H) and convey interpretation using the role-play method. The results show an improvement in the ability to train participants to compose better Wae Bobok destination narrations by containing 5W+1H elements and improve their ability to interpret Wae Bobok destination narrations.

Abstract

CV merupakan dokumen yang pertama kali dilihat oleh perusahaan dan menjadi penilaian awal dalam menentukan apakah seorang calon pekerja layak untuk dipertimbangkan lebih lanjut. Namun, banyak siswa/siswi yang belum memahami cara membuat CV yang efektif sehingga peluang mereka untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan atau magang berkurang. Beberapa aplikasi gratis tersedia untuk membantu dalam pembuatan curriculum vitae, salah satunya adalah Canva. Salah satu sekolah kejuruan di Kabupaten Manggarai Barat yakni SMKN 3 Komodo juga mencetak tenaga kerja siap pakai yang mana perlu membekali siswa/siswinya dengan keterampilan yang mumpuni dalam pembuatan CV yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dunia industri. Melihat dinamika dan kebutuhan ini, sehingga disepakati bahwa pelatihan pembuatan CV yang komprehensif sangat dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan kesiapan mereka dalam menghadapi dunia industri. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memperluas pengetahuan dan meningkatkan keterampilan siswa SMKN 3 Komodo dalam membuat curriculum vitae yang baik dan menarik sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri. Penulis menggabungkan ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab dan praktik sebagai metode dalam melaksanakan kegiatan ini. Adapun hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan CV menggunakan aplikasi Canva yang dilaksanakan pada siswa/siswi SMKN 3 Komodo berjalan dengan baik dan memberikan dampak positif dalam mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi kebutuhan administrasi magang industri.

Abstract

Saat ini desa telah menjadi salah satu bentuk destinasi wisata. Pengembangan kepariwisataan pada sebuah desa membutuhkan strategi yang komprehensif untuk mengembangkan potensi atraksi, aksesibilitas, dan amenitas. Pariwisata di Kabupaten Manggarai Barat mengalami perkembangan yang signifikan. Desa Wisata Repi memiliki banyak peluang untuk menarik wisatawan untuk berkunjung. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini ialah mengidentifikasi komponen 3A di Desa Repi sebagai destinasi wisata dan mendeskripsikan potensi atraksi, aksesibilitas, dan amenitas, serta menyusun strategi pengembangan pariwisata di Desa Repi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ialah observasi  dan wawancara. Uji validasi data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah triangulasi data. Berdasarkan hasil analisis atraksi, aksesibilitas, dan amenitas, Desa Repi memiliki peluang untuk dikembangkan. Dari aspek atraksi, Desa Repi memiliki potensi wisata berupa 1) atraksi alam, seperti pantai dan bukit; 2) atraksi budaya, seperti tari caci, tiba meka, Sanda, Mbata, dan Danding; dan 3) Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menegah, seperti kain songke. Aksesibilitas menuju Desa Repi telah tersedia, namun masih membutuhkan peningkatan kualitas. Selain itu, pada aspek amenitas telah tersedia beberapa fasilitas penunjang pariwisata, seperti homestay, warung. Namun demikian, sudah ada proses pembangunan toilet umum sebagai bentuk peningkatan kualitas amenitas di Desa Repi. Pengembangan pariwisata di Desa Repi dapat dilakukan dengan sejumlah strategi, diantaranya 1) peningkatan sumber daya manusia di bidang pariwisata, 2) peningkatan pemasaran tentang Desa Repi, 3) pembuatan paket wisata, 4) penyusunan program kerja pokdarwis, dan 5) peningkatan kualitas sarana umum. Strategi-strategi ini dapat diterapkan agar Desa Repi menjadi desa wisata yang siap untuk menerima wisatawan, baik nasional maupun internasional.

Abstract

Nuca Molas Village in Manggarai Regency has strong tourism potential but does not yet have a clear development strategy. This study aims to explore its potential and propose a strategy to make Nuca Molas Village a leading destination in Manggarai Regency. The approach used in this study is qualitative. The data collection techniques are interviews, observations, and documentation. Informants were selected using purposive sampling techniques, reaching seven people. This study identified four main potentials: Natural and cultural attractions, including biodiversity and shipbuilding traditions; Accessibility, because of its location close to Wae Rebo and Labuan Bajo; Amenities, with accommodation and culinary businesses in Dintor, the crossing point to Nuca Molas; and Tourism market, which benefits from tourist visits to Labuan Bajo and Wae Rebo. The strategy must prioritize increasing accessibility, infrastructure development, partnerships, community training, and reactivating tourism awareness groups (Pokdarwis). In addition, integrating tourism products with Wae Rebo and Labuan Bajo can increase visibility and attract more visitors. This research can provide an overview of the development strategy of tourist villages, especially marine tourism. It can be used as a basis for designing tourism development in Nuca Molas Village.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesejahteraan pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Desa Wisata Warloka serta menyusun strategi pengembangan melalui analisis SWOT. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, dokumentasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa UMKM Aneka Rasa memiliki peran signifikan dalam meningkatkan pendapatan, memperkuat solidaritas sosial, serta mendorong akses terhadap pendidikan dan pelatihan kewirausahaan. Keberadaan UMKM ini juga mampu memperkuat peran perempuan serta memperluas pemasaran produk lokal melalui kolaborasi dan digitalisasi. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan manajemen dan ketergantungan pada musim wisata perlu diatasi melalui strategi pelatihan, diversifikasi produk, dan penguatan kelembagaan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan strategi berbasis potensi lokal untuk pengembangan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Desa Wae Lolos memiliki potensi wisata yang dapat dikembangkan. Namun, terdapat kendala dalam pengembangannya, seperti pengembangan sumber daya manusia (SDM). Pendekatan dalam merancang program pengembangan SDM adalah dengan metode Appreciative Participatory Planning and Action. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan strategi pengembangan sumber daya manusia berbasis produk wisata yang dirancang berdasarkan potensinya. Dalam pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini digunakan wawancara, dimana Pokdarwis dijadikan sebagai sumber dan teknik observasi. Pada tahap penemuan diketahui bahwa Desa Wae Lolos memiliki tiga potensi wisata, yaitu 1) wisata alam, seperti air terjun, pemandian air panas, dan persawahan; 2) wisata budaya, seperti tarian tradisional dan berbagai upacara; dan 3) produk cinderamata masyarakat, seperti sambal kemiri dan topi re'a. Kemudian pada tahap mimpi, Kelompok Sadar Wisata Ceriah telah menetapkan visi yaitu Desa Wisata unggulan berbasis wisata alam dan budaya lokal, berorientasi pada pemberdayaan masyarakat dan mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Pada tahap perancangan dapat dirancang enam produk berdasarkan potensi yang ada yaitu 1) birdwatching, 2) waterfall trekking, 3) mandi di mata air Wae Kolang, 4) produk kemiri kemiri, 5) produk herbal temulawak, dan 6) topi re’a. Pelatihan dan pendampingan Pokdarwis Ceriah sangat penting untuk menyediakan layanan dan produk pariwisata yang berkualitas.

Abstract

Tourism is an industry that offers experiences to tourists. Therefore, service quality is essential in the tourism industry. One of the developing destinations in Indonesia is Labuan Bajo. The indicator of tourism industry development in Labuan Bajo is various tourism services. Acura Dive is one of the dive shops in Labuan Bajo. It is located on Seraya Kecil Island and has become part of the Sudamala Seraya Resort. Therefore, this research aims to determine tourist satisfaction with Aquara Dive services. This study uses a quantitative approach. The method to define the level of tourist satisfaction in three steps, namely 1) obtaining the ideal score by multiplying the number of respondents by the very satisfied score, namely 5, 2) divide the item score obtained by the total ideal score to get the level of satisfaction and, 3) interpreting the level of satisfaction. The interpretation of satisfaction levels is as follows. 0% - 20% = Very Dissatisfied, 21% - 40% = Dissatisfied, 41% - 60% = Somewhat Satisfied, 61% -80% = Satisfied, and 81% - 100% = Very Satisfied. The number of respondents reached 172 people. Based on data analysis, the satisfaction level of users of the Acura Dive service is 97%, and it is in the category very satisfied.
