Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership on job satisfaction and job performance, considering trust in the leader as a mediating variable. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique, with a total of 268 Generation Z employees working in the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) areas. The data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method through Smart PLS 3.0 software.  The findings indicate that transformational leadership has a significant and positive impact on trust in the leader, job satisfaction, and job performance. Furthermore, trust in the leader was proven to mediate the relationship between transformational leadership and both job satisfaction and job performance.  The implications of this study highlight the crucial role of leaders in building trust to enhance employee productivity and job satisfaction, particularly among the younger workforce. This research provides both practical and theoretical insights into leadership strategies that support organizational success.

Abstract

Community empowerment is a strategic effort to increase the independence and welfare of residents through the utilization of local potential. This empowerment through the Kampung Nanas program focuses on the cultivation of Smooth Cayenne pineapple varieties. However, the empowerment approach taken has not been optimal. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the community empowerment process and formulate strategies that can be applied in Margoluwih Village. The research approach uses a qualitative method with case studies, involving observation, interviews, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD). The analysis used is SWOT and QSPM. The results of the study indicate that technical training on good and correct pineapple cultivation, as well as providing access for the community to consult with experts in the field, plays an important role in improving the quality of pineapple cultivation. This effort is expected to produce optimal pineapple plants. In addition, ongoing assistance and regular meetings have proven to be effective strategies in empowering communities in Margoluwih Village. This study confirms that an empowerment strategy based on a participatory model, with financial support from the government and the involvement of millennial farmers as assistants, can increase the sustainability of community empowerment programs through the Kampung Nanas program. Therefore, village governments and agricultural extension workers need to design collaborations to increase community income in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of social media interaction and customer brand engagement on brand awareness, brand image, and brand loyalty in the modern bakery industry in Indonesia. With a quantitative approach, this study collected data from 141 respondents who were social media users who had interacted with modern bakery brands. Data processing used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The results showed that social media interaction had a significant effect on customer brand engagement. Furthermore, social media interaction also had a significant direct effect on brand awareness, brand image, and brand loyalty. Path analysis showed an indirect effect of social media interaction through customer brand engagement on the three dependent variables, indicating a partial mediation effect. This study emphasizes the importance of active interaction on social media as a primary strategy in building brand awareness, brand image, and brand loyalty in the modern bakery industry. These findings provide important implications for modern bakery industry players in optimizing their digital marketing strategies to increase consumer engagement and loyalty.

Abstract

Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) planning in Surabaya requires a comprehensive understanding of the strategic factors that influence its successful implementation. This study aims to identify both technical and political factors that must be considered in TOD implementation. This study applies a Delphi method involving six stakeholders from government, academia, and NGOs to identify strategic variables influencing TOD. Technical variables are assessed using 7D principles (Density, Diversity, Design, Destination Accessibility, Distance to Transit, Demand Management, and Demography) aligned with national regulations (Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning Regulation No. 16/2017), while political factors cover institutional governance, regulations, and financing. Of the 43 sub-variables evaluated, most reached unanimous (full) consensus and two attained majority consensus. The findings highlight that TOD success in Surabaya depends not only on technical compliance but also on institutional coordination and policy responsiveness to local context.
