Abstract

Community empowerment is a strategic effort to increase the independence and welfare of residents through the utilization of local potential. This empowerment through the Kampung Nanas program focuses on the cultivation of Smooth Cayenne pineapple varieties. However, the empowerment approach taken has not been optimal. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the community empowerment process and formulate strategies that can be applied in Margoluwih Village. The research approach uses a qualitative method with case studies, involving observation, interviews, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD). The analysis used is SWOT and QSPM. The results of the study indicate that technical training on good and correct pineapple cultivation, as well as providing access for the community to consult with experts in the field, plays an important role in improving the quality of pineapple cultivation. This effort is expected to produce optimal pineapple plants. In addition, ongoing assistance and regular meetings have proven to be effective strategies in empowering communities in Margoluwih Village. This study confirms that an empowerment strategy based on a participatory model, with financial support from the government and the involvement of millennial farmers as assistants, can increase the sustainability of community empowerment programs through the Kampung Nanas program. Therefore, village governments and agricultural extension workers need to design collaborations to increase community income in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) planning in Surabaya requires a comprehensive understanding of the strategic factors that influence its successful implementation. This study aims to identify both technical and political factors that must be considered in TOD implementation. This study applies a Delphi method involving six stakeholders from government, academia, and NGOs to identify strategic variables influencing TOD. Technical variables are assessed using 7D principles (Density, Diversity, Design, Destination Accessibility, Distance to Transit, Demand Management, and Demography) aligned with national regulations (Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning Regulation No. 16/2017), while political factors cover institutional governance, regulations, and financing. Of the 43 sub-variables evaluated, most reached unanimous (full) consensus and two attained majority consensus. The findings highlight that TOD success in Surabaya depends not only on technical compliance but also on institutional coordination and policy responsiveness to local context.

Abstract

The regeneration of farmers became crucial in improving the competitiveness of the agricultural sector, especially for millennial farmers. However, the empowerment approaches that were implemented had not been fully optimal. Empowerment often focused only on the implementation of government programs without the active involvement of millennial farmers. This study aimed to analyze the factors that influenced the empowerment process of millennial farmers and to formulate strategies that could be applied in Kapanewon Patuk, Gunungkidul Regency. This research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach, involving interviews, observations, and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs). The analysis used was SWOT and QSPM analysis. The results of the study showed that the involvement of successful farmers played an important role in increasing knowledge, skills, and technology adoption among millennial farmers. In addition, strengthening institutions and farmer groups became an effective strategy in supporting the empowerment process. The conclusion of this study confirmed that a participatory model-based empowerment strategy, by optimizing the support of successful farmers and integrating technology, could enhance the sustainability of horticultural farming. The government and agricultural extension workers needed to design a more adaptive approach, utilize the potential for collaboration with various stakeholders, and strengthen marketing networks to improve the competitiveness of millennial farmers

Abstract

Batik is a product that has become Indonesia's cultural identity. As a batik city, Pekalongan continues to strive to improve the quality of batik products so that Indonesian batik does not become extinct. One of the things that makes batik attractive is its motifs and colors. Through its appeal, batik will increasingly exist and become global. In line with the problems that exist in the batik industry, namely the problem of production time efficiency, this community service aims to provide solutions to problems in the batik industry in order to save or reduce production time, especially in the batik industry. color dyeing stage, while maintaining the quality of the batik. The dyeing process carried out by the batik industry which is the activity partner, namely Perkumpulan Kampoeng Batik Kauman and Kampung Wisata Batik Pesindon, still uses traditional dyeing techniques, so that through a batik dyeing machine solution called a feeder machine, the batik production process at the dyeing stage can be made easier. The results of this service activity were achieved with evidence of a success rate based on evaluation results reaching 87.4% as a dyeing tool innovation that had an impact on efficiency and with a color dyeing printing time of around 20-30 minutes on one 2x1m sheet of paper. cloth. Furthermore, the results of using the feeder machine are visible in the even coloring results and the batik wax does not break. This means that apart from being an efficiency solution, the feeder machine also improves the quality of batik.

Abstract

This research investigates the integration of public transportation services in Surabaya City, focusing on the Suroboyo Bus and its feeder lines. Using spatial assessment techniques and graph theory, the study evaluates Node Connectivity (NC), Line Connectivity (LC), and Transfer Center Connectivity (TCC) index across 18 zones. Results show significant disparities in connectivity levels, with zones along the North-South corridor through central Surabaya consistently demonstrating high integration. In contrast, zones along the eastern ring road and the northeastern part of Surabaya show poor integration, revealing critical areas needing improvement. Factors such as zone density and the number of transit nodes influence these outcomes, underscoring the importance of balanced service distribution. The study emphasizes the necessity for future research to address imbalances and improve the overall efficiency of Surabaya City's public transportation network.

Abstract

The Wonogiri State Confiscated Goods Storage House (Rupbasan) is one of the government agencies authorized to store and manage state confiscated goods and state confiscation until the auction process is carried out. This study aims to determine the role of the Wonogiri Rupbasan in the auction process for state booty, the obstacles that arise in the Wonogiri Rupbasan in the state booty auction process and efforts to resolve the obstacles in realizing Non-Tax State Revenue. This study uses empirical legal research methods with data collection techniques from interviews and interviews. The results of this study are related to the role of the Wonogiri Rupbasan in the auction process for stolen goods from the state, both from before the auction process until the auction process is carried out. Before being auctioned there is an acceptance process, consisting of research, judgment, documentation, second registration, third management consisting of storage, security, maintenance, rescue, fourth use of Basan and Baran, fifth transfer, finally reporting. For the auction process, the Wonogiri Rupbasan uses an auction system that is displayed to the Ministry of Finance's State Assets and Auction Service Office in carrying out the auction. The Wonogiri Rupbasan prepares state-appropriated goods to be auctioned based on a court decision, puts up and submits a list of auctions, announces them to the public, records the auction winners given by the KPKNL, processes the taking of the auctioned items that have been won. Handling after the auction process is spending and cleaning. In the auction process there are several obstacles, both from internal Rupbasan and external constraints and there are also general obstacles outside the auction process which impact on the quality of the loot to be auctioned as well as efforts to resolve obstacles in the auction process for state loot. Suggestions due to the suboptimal role of the mandate and function of Rupbasan both in the bidding process and managing Basan and Baran, studies, policies and government decisions are needed in making regulations strengthening the sovereignty of Rupbasan. Improving coordination between the Wonogiri Rupbasan and related agencies in implementing the auction process for state loot so that it can run optimally and professionally
