Abstract

Kesalahan berbahasa dalam bidang morfologi merupakan permasalahan yang sering ditemukan dalam tulisan akademik mahasiswa, termasuk dalam makalah yang mereka tulis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis jenis kesalahan morfologi yang muncul dalam penulisan makalah mahasiswa serta mencari faktor-faktor utama penyebabnya. Pada penelitian ini, metode deskriptif kualitatif diterapkan dengan teknik analisis data berupa identifikasi, klasifikasi, dan deskripsi kesalahan morfologi yang ditemukan dalam makalah mahasiswa. Berdasarkan analisis data, penelitian ini mengungkap hasil bahwa kesalahan morfologi yang paling dominan meliputi kesalahan dalam pembentukan kata berimbuhan, kesalahan pemilihan bentuk kata, dan penggunaan kata ulang yang tidak sesuai dengan kaidah bahasa Indonesia. Faktor utama penyebab kesalahan ini adalah kurangnya pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap kaidah morfologi bahasa Indonesia dan pengaruh bahasa lisan dalam penulisan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa melalui pembelajaran yang lebih intensif terkait struktur morfologi bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

The research was conducted with the aim of developing tutorial-based learning media using a scientific approach and its impact on learning activities and improving student learning outcomes on the topic of writing short stories. The method used in this research is the Research and Development method with a development design based on the Hannafin and Peck model. According to the research objectives, the data sources used in this study were obtained from the validation questionnaire of the media's feasibility, as well as observations of learning activities and student learning outcome tests. The subjects in this study were students of class XI at SMKN 3 Singkawang. The results indicated an increase in the average student learning outcomes from the initial test score of 61.75 to 82.95 in the final test. Based on observations of activities, the average frequency of student learning activities was 78.04, categorized as good, and based on testing using effect size, a value of 2.36 was obtained, categorized as large. It can be concluded that the tutorial-based learning media with a scientific approach has a significant impact on increasing student activity and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui seberapa besar minat membaca di kalangan mahasiswa. Tanpa adanya bimbingan serta arahan dari dosen maupun orang tuanya akan memengaruhi psikologis mahasiswa. Saat ini, mahasiswa lebih mengutamakan berpenampilan menarik daripada mengisi pemikirannya dengan pengetahuan (membaca buku). Minat membaca merupakan motivasi yang kuat pada pribadi mahasiswa untuk menganalisa, memahami serta mengevaluasi apa yang telah dibacanya. Pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan memengaruhi mahasiswa dalam menentukan tujuan hidupnya yang lebih baik di masa yang akan datang. Masalah di sini adalah faktor yang memengaruhi minat membaca mahasiswa serta cara mengatasinya, agar mahasiswa PBSI Universitas PGRI Pontianak memiliki kesadaran dalam membaca. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi dan wawancara. Mahasiswa sebagai subjek penelitian akan diteliti dengan cara observasi dan dosen akan diwawancara. Sumber data adalah mahasiswa, dosen serta pustakawan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa minat membaca mahasiswa lebih baik dari sebelumnya. Di sini, dosen serta pihak pustakawan saling bersinergi dalam memberikan motivasi yang efektif sehingga muncullah inspirasi serta ide-ide baru yang telah didapat mahasiswa.

Abstract

His study aims to examine the practicality of Artificial Intelligence learning media using ChatGPT for seventh-grade junior high school students. This study is a Research and Development (R&D) study with a population of seventh-grade students at SMP 3 Sungai Kakap, Kubu Raya Regency. The sample was taken from one class, namely the seventh grade. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The data collection techniques used were indirect communication and measurement. The tools used were expert validation sheets, questionnaires, and tests. The results of the study showed that the validation results of the artificial intelligence learning media using ChatGPT provided several notes for improvement, which later became the basis for improvements or revisions to the media that had been developed. The main points for improvement were in the aspects of presentation, content suitability, and language use to suit the students' interests. The level of practicality of the Artificial Intelligence learning media using ChatGPT in learning to recognize and identify folk poetry for Year 7 junior high school students was 84%, which is considered very practical. Based on the questionnaire results, it was found that the Artificial Intelligence learning media using ChatGPT that was developed was practical to use.

Abstract

The study's objectives are to: 1) ascertain the extent to which the teaching module aids in learning through the use of Indonesian in the Real Analysis course, and 2) ascertain the features of mathematical language literacy skills following participation in learning through the use of Indonesian in the Real Analysis course. This study used an experimental approach using Posttest-Only Control Design and True Experimental Designs research. Researchers administered an essay test consisting of up to four items to students in the real analysis lecture class in semester VI. The two-tailed significance level is 0.000, where <0.05. This indicates that there is a significant difference, at a probability of 0.05, between the outcomes of the mathematics language literacy skills learned using the Indonesian language actual analysis course teaching module. The mean difference column, which reads 15.31, indicates how much the average or mean of the two groups differed. It is possible to draw the conclusion that students who get instruction using the Indonesian language actual analysis course teaching module have superior mathematical language literacy skills compared to those who receive instruction using standard learning methods.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the correlation between self-confidence and news text speaking skills of eleventh-grade students at SMA Koperasi Pontianak. This study used a quantitative method with a correlation research design. The population and sample of this study were eleventh-grade students at SMA Koperasi Pontianak. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire instrument to measure self-confidence and a performance assessment rubric to measure news text speaking skills. The data analysis technique used was the Product Moment correlation analysis. The results showed that the students' self-confidence level was in the fairly good category (mean 70.94) and the speaking skill level was also in the fairly good category (mean 71.11). Based on the analysis, a very strong and significant positive correlation was found between self-confidence and news text speaking skills. This finding is evidenced by a correlation coefficient value of 0.911, which is greater than the r-table value of 0.388, indicating that the research hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' understanding in appreciating literary works in the form of films, particularly the film Budi Pekerti by Wregas Bhanuteja. The study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a structural approach. The research subjects are students in class VIII.1 at SMP Negeri 1 Parindu. Data collection techniques include observation, documentation study, and written tests in the form of essays. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, and was supported by content analysis of the students' answers based on the intrinsic elements and moral values of the film. The results of the study show that students are generally able to understand the plot and content of the film well and identify moral values such as honesty, responsibility, empathy, and wisdom in social media. Students also demonstrated an ability to appreciate the literary elements in the film, although some were still at the descriptive stage and had not yet reached the stage of interpreting implied meanings. The obstacles encountered included technical aspects of film presentation and difficulty in understanding symbols and implicit messages. Thus, the film Budi Pekerti is considered relevant and effective for use as a medium for teaching literature and as a means of character building in Indonesian language learning at the junior high school level.
