Abstract

The support of husbands and family members in safe childbirth preparation is crucial for pregnant women. Husbands serve as both emotional and physical companions, providing comfort and security during the birthing process. Challenges encountered in community service partnerships related to spousal and familial support in safe childbirth preparation can encompass several aspects. Firstly, a lack of understanding among husbands and family members regarding the childbirth process can result in minimal emotional and physical support. Many husbands do not participate in prenatal education, leaving them unprepared to provide the necessary support. Secondly, cultural norms that limit the husband's role in childbirth can pose challenges. In some communities, there is still a belief that the husband's role is insignificant in childbirth preparation, leading to decreased participation. This can diminish the pregnant woman's self-confidence and create discomfort. Based on the challenges faced by partners, the proposed solution is the creation of engaging informational media to facilitate the dissemination of information to the public, particularly to husbands and family members, in support of safe childbirth preparation, a program referred to as DuGaLiMan. This initiative was implemented in September 2024 at Babirik Community Health Center, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency, South Kalimantan Province. The DuGaLiMan program, which focuses on spousal and familial support in safe childbirth preparation at Babirik Community Health Center, demonstrates its success in achieving its objectives. The program has successfully increased the knowledge and awareness of husbands and family members regarding the importance of their roles during the childbirth process. With appropriate education, they can provide the necessary emotional and physical support to pregnant women, creating a safer and more comfortable environment.

Abstract

Problems faced by partners related to the role of cadres in attaching P4K stickers at the Babirik Health Center include the lack of community understanding of the importance of the health information provided. Although cadres have tried to attach stickers in strategic locations, community response is often minimal, so that the information is not effective in raising awareness. In addition, cadres also face challenges of limited time and resources, which prevent them from conducting further socialization. The solutions carried out are educating cadres to conduct pregnant women screening; documenting high-risk pregnant women; educating high-risk pregnant women on knowledge; attaching P4K stickers in the homes of high-risk pregnant women. The conclusion from the results of community service activities related to the role of cadres in attaching P4K stickers at the Babirik Health Center shows that this initiative has succeeded in increasing community awareness of maternal and child health. Through the attachment of stickers in strategic locations and the active involvement of cadres, important information about health services becomes more easily accessible and understood by the community. More intensive interaction between cadres and the community shows an increase in requests for information and participation in health programs.

Abstract

The community movement to assist childbirth operates within a complex context, where social, cultural, and economic factors interact with each other. At the Babirik Community Health Center (Puskesmas Babirik), community service partners face a number of challenges. One of the main issues is the limited human resources, with an insufficient number of medical personnel and volunteers to reach all pregnant women in the area. Ineffective communication between the health center and the community has led to low awareness and participation of pregnant women in existing programs.Based on these challenges, a solution was developed by introducing the Community Movement to Assist Childbirth at Puskesmas Babirik, abbreviated as Germas Tulin. The Germas Tulin program at Puskesmas Babirik has shown a positive impact on community service, especially in supporting childbirth. Through various initiatives, the community actively participates in providing services and support needed during the delivery process. Germas Tulin plays a vital role in creating a safer and more supportive environment for pregnant women, as well as contributing to the improvement of healthcare service quality in the area.

Abstract

Abstract

Preeclampsia has become a serious medical problem in the world. Currently, there is no routine or comprehensive screening program in place for preeclampsia, which means that preventive measures are not as effective as they could be, potentially resulting in higher rates of illness and death among mothers and infant. The main purpose of this study is to predict early of preeclampsia using random forest algorithms. This study used a quantitative approach with samples 504. The data were analyzed using random forest with particle swarm optimization (PSO). Random forest have been an accuracy rate of 96.08%, for the area under the curve (AUC), precision, sensitivity, and specificity each (0.971; 97.06%; 97.06%; and 94.12%). Model significantly increased 1.39% after optimize from 94.69% to 96.08%. The design process model algorithm has been validated that have a high level of accuracy based on literature reviews. The quality of services offered will certainly influence people to utilize technology-based services more than conventional ones. Recommendation for field technology and health is building an application model for early prediction of preeclampsia based on machine learning (ML) which is an effort for health workers to provide optimal antenatal care and step in changing technology-based pregnancy checks as initial prevention for pregnant women so that preeclampsia can be avoided.
