Abstract

Peran masyarakat dalam menurunkan jumlah vektor DBD sangat menentukan penurunan jumlah kasus DBD. Pemberian pemahaman dan pengetahuan masyarakat akan bahaya dari nyamuk demam berdarah sangat menentukan keberhasilan penanggulangan demam berdarah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat tentang penyakit DBD di Desa Tunggulsari Kecamatan Brangsong Kabupaten Kendal. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif, metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan survey. Sampel berjumlah 332 responden dengan teknik pengambilan purposive sampling. Alat ukur berupa kuesioner sebanyak 30 pertanyaan. Analisa data menggunakan univariat dalam bentuk distribusi frekuensi dan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik responden sebagian besar berusia masa dewasa akhir (usia 36-45 tahun) sebanyak 124 responden (37,3%), berjenis kelamin laki-laki sebanyak 234 responden (70,5%), berpendidikan SD sebanyak 151 responden (45,5%), bekerja swasta sebanyak 114 responden (34,3%). Tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat tentang DBD yang belum pernah menderita DBD sebagian besar cukup sebanyak 133 responden (40,1%). Tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat tentang DBD yang pernah menderita DBD sebagian besar baik yaitu sebanyak 28 responden (8,4%). Diharapkan masyarakat untuk mencari informasi tentang DBD sehingga lebih mengerti dan memahami tentang DBD dengan jalan sering membaca buku, majalah, membuka internet bertanya kepada tenaga kesehatan atau teman dengan demikian pengetahuan tentang DBD akan meningkat. The understanding and knowledge of the community about the dangers of dengue fever mosquito determine the success of dengue fever prevention. This research aim to describe the level of public knowledge about the disease Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in the village of the District Tunggulsari Brangsong Kendal. The design of this study was quantitative, descriptive method with survey approach. The sample was amounted to 95 respondents with decision-purposive sampling technique. Measuring instrument was a questionnaire of 30 questions. Data were analyzed using univariate in the form of frequency distribution and percentage. The results showed that the characteristics of respondents mostly aged late adulthood (ages 36-45 years) as many as 124 respondents (37.3%), sex as male much as 234 respondent (70,5%), elementary school education as much as 151 respondents (45.5%), most of the private work as many as 114 respondents (34,3%). The level of public knowledge about Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) DHF who have never suffered mostly quite as much as 133 respondents (40.1%). The level of public knowledge about Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF), which had suffered from dengue mostly good as many as 28 respondents (8.4%). Expected people to find information about Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) so that a better understanding and grasp of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) with the road often read books, magazines, go online to ask for health workers or friends with such knowledge of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) will increase. Abstract

Bayi berat lahir rendah  atau BBLR  adalah bayi yang lahir dengan berat badan lahir kurang dari 2.500 gram tanpa memandang masa kehamilan. Kondisi BBLR dan kebutuhan bayi akan perawatan khusus, dapat menimbulkan gangguan psikologis bagi bayi dan orangtua, hal ini terjadi karena secara psikologis orang tua belum siap untuk menghadapi kondisi bayinya. Kelahiran BBLR dan perawatan bayi diruang intensive merupakan kejadian yang tidak diharapkan orangtua dan dapat  menimbulkan kecemasan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuktikan keefektifan intervensi keperawatan dalam mengatasi ansietas orangtua yang memiliki BBLR melalui pemberdayaan orangtua (parent empowerment). Jenis penelitian yang gunakan pada penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan pre post test without control group. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah semua orangtua yang memiliki bayi BBLR dengan jumlah 40 orangtua dengan  menggunakan teknik total accidental.  Alat ukur penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini untuk mengukur ansietas orangtua dengan kuesioner Depression Anxiety Stress Scale yang terdiri 14 pertanyaan terkait ansietas,  dikembangkan oleh Lovibond pada tahun 1995 dengan dengan hasil uji cronbach alpha 0.9483. Analisis univariat pada penelitian ini menggunakan distribusi frekuensi, sedangkan analisis bivariat menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil analisis uji statistik didapatkan p value 0,016, hal ini menunjukan bahwa ada perbedaan tingkat ansietas orangtua yang mempunyai BBLR di ruang Perinatologi RS Se-Kabupaten Kendal sebelum dan sesudah pemberdayaan orangtua Kata kunci: ansietas, BBLR, perberdayaan  orangtua NURSING INTERVENTION OF LBW IN EFFORT TO OVERCOME ANXIETY OF PARENTS THROUGH EMPOWERMENT OF PARENTS ABSTRACTLow birth weight babies or LBW are babies born with birth weight less than 2,500 grams regardless of pregnancy. LBW conditions and the baby's need for special care, can cause psychological disorders for babies and parents, this happens because psychologically parents are not ready to deal with the condition of their babies. LBW births and baby care in the intensive room are events that are not expected by parents and can cause anxiety. The purpose of this study is to prove the effectiveness of nursing interventions in overcoming anxiety (anxiety) of parents who have LBW through parent empowerment. This type of research used in this study is a quasi-experimental with pre-post test without control group. The population and sample in this study were all parents who had LBW babies with a total of 40 parents using total accidental sampling techniques. The research measuring instrument used in this study to measure parental anxiety is the DASS (Depression Anxiety Stress Scale) questionnaire consisting of 14 anxiety-related questions developed by Lovibond in 1995 with the results of the Cronbach alpha 0.9483 test. The univariate analysis in this study uses the frequency distribution, while the bivariate analysis uses the Wilcoxon test. The results of the statistical test analysis obtained P value 0.016, this shows that there are differences in the level of anxiety of parents who have LBW in the Perinatology Room of Kendal District Hospital before and after parent empowerment. Keywords: anxiety, low birth weigh, parent empowerment

Abstract

This descriptive qualitative study aims at describing strategies used by the translator in grasping equivalence. The data are sentences containing the equivalence strategies and their translation into Indonesian taken from “Linguistics Across Culture” and “Linguistik di Pelbagai Budaya”. The data is collected using documentation method and the data is then analyzed using comparative method. The findings show that the equivalence strategies used by the translator of “Linguistics Across Culture” into “Linguistik di Pelbagai Budaya” include addition, deletion, adoption, adaptation, category shift, level shift, and intra-system shift.

Abstract

Membaca, menulis, dan berhitung atau calistung bukanlah tahapan perkembangan kemampuan keterampilan yang dapat begitu saja dikuasai anak. Calistung adalah tahapan dasar orang bisa mengenal huruf dan angka dimana membaca merupakan suatu proses rumit yang melibatkan aktivitas auditif (pendengaran) dan visual (penglihatan) untuk memperoleh makna dari simbol berupa huruf atau kata. Daun menyirip merupakan media bahan alam yang digunakan sebagai media pengenalan calistung di RA Hadiqotul Amin Puding Besar. Media ini adalah salah satu yang bisa digunakan oleh guru dalam perkembangan calistung anak usia 5 – 6 tahun. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan atau (field research) yang dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dengan mendeskripsikan dan memaparkan data yang diperoleh dari hasil wawancara, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media bahan alam (daun menyirip) dapat menjadi media dalam mengenalkan membaca, menulis dan berhitung untuk anak usia dini, apalagi anak usia prasekolah, yakni 5-6 tahun. Anak dapat belajar langsung untuk melihat benda konkret tanpa harus menerka dari sebuah gambar. Media bahan alam merupakan media yang baik untuk digunakan dalam mengenalkan calistung pada anak usia dini. Harapannya guru dapat meningkatkan kreatifitasnya lagi dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran yang aktif dan menyenangkan sehingga tujuan pembelajaran bisa tercapai dengan baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi bahwa pendidikan adalah hak semua warga. Sementara itu, kenyataan yang terjadi saat ini adalah sistem pendidikan di Indonesia belum mengakomodasi keberagaman, baik keberagaman dari segi agama, etnis, bahkan kemampuan yang dimiliki oleh anak. Padahal sangat jelas diatur dalam Permendiknas bahwa pendidikan inklusi merupakan pendidikan sistem penyelenggaraan pendidikan yang memberikan kesempatan kepada semua peserta didik dengan kekhususan dan bakat istimewa yang dimilikinya untuk mengikuti pendidikan secara bersama-sama dengan peserta didik yang lain pada umumnya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Tujuan dilaksanakan penelitian ini adalah Pertama, penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mendeskripsikan secara umum pengelolaan inklusi melalui metode belajar bersama alam. Kedua, menyajikan deskripsi tentang implikasi pengelolaan inklusi melalui metode belajar bersama alam. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data-data yang diperoleh bersumber dari observasi, pengumpulan data di lapangan, interview, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan metode belajar bersama alam di kelas inklusi secara umum sama dengan kelas reguler. Metode belajar bersama alam diterapkan dengan tiga tahapan, yakni perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Penerapan metode belajar bersama alam dilakukan secara bersama oleh guru kelas, asisten guru kelas, dan shadow teacher. Sedangkan implikasi pengelolaan kelas inklusi melalui metode belajar bersama alam ini antara lain siswa lebih mencintai alam, mengembangkan karakter siswa, serta menanamkan rasa tanggung jawab siswa..

Abstract

Kejang demam merupakan tipe kejang yang sering ditemukan pada masa anak-anak, angka kejadian kejang demam terjadi 2-5% pada anak antara usia 6 bulan sampai 5 tahun. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran kemampuan orangtua dalam penanganan pertama kejang demam pada anak usia toddler di wilayah kecamatan Ngampel. Penelitian menggunakan desain deskriptif. Sampel diambil secara purposive sampling, sebanyak 32 orangtua yang memiliki anak usia toddler. Alat pengumpulan data penelitian ini dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan lembar observasi. Analisis unuvariat pada penelitian ini menggunakan distribusi frekuensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan seluruh orangtua tentang penanganan kejang demam pada anak usia toddler adalah kurang yaitu, sebanyak 32 atau 100% dari total responden. Peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan dapat menambahkan variabel atau intervensi yang mempengaruhi kemampuan ibu dalam penanganan kejang demam pada anak usia toddler. Orangtua disarankan dapat mencari sumber informasi tentang kejang demam dan penanganan kejang demam pada anak, untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan serta kemampuan orangtua dalam penanganan pertama tentang kejang demam pada anak usia toddler. Kata kunci: Kejang demam, anak usia toddler, penanganan kejang demam DESCRIPTION OF PARENTS 'ABILITY IN THE FIRST HANDLING OF FEVER CHANCE IN AGE CHILDREN ABSTRACT Febrile seizures is a type of seizure that most often happen to toddlers. The rate of this seizure is 2 - 5 % occcurs to children between the ages six months and five years. The objective of this study was to know the description of parents' ability in first handling of febrile seizures happened to their toddlers in Ngampel District. This study was conducted by using descriptive design. The participants were selected by purposive sampling. They were 32 parents whose children were toddlers. Questionnaires and observation sheets were used to get the data. Univariate analysis in this study was using distribution of frequency. The result shows that all the participants ( 32 parents with toddlers) or 100 % of the respondences were lack of the ability to give first handle of febrile seizures happened to their toddlers. Hopefully, the next researchers can add variable or intervention that effects the ability of parents in first handling of febrile seizures happen to their toddlers. Parents are advised to find sources of information about febrile seizures and management of febrile seizures in children, to increase the knowledge and ability of parents in the first treatment of febrile seizures in toddler. Abstract

The aim of this article is describing the translation quality of English noun phrasestranslated into Indonesian. The data of this descriptive qualitative study are phrases,clauses, and sentences containing of noun phrases found in English scientific and fictiontexts translated into Indonesian. The data were analyzed by applying translation theoriesproposed by Nababan (2012) and Lauscher (2000). Based on the analyzed data, there arethree elements of translation quality show accurate, acceptable, and readable. Allvariation of English noun phrase patterns translated into Indonsian have same meaningto the message of the source language. They are acceptable and easy to understand withoutreading the entire translation more than one. Therefore, the translation of noun phrasesare readable for ideal readers of the translated texts. The result of this study can beapplied in teaching learning process of translation subject, theory, practice, and evaluationin translation.

Abstract

    Derived from Halliday's systematic functional linguistics, register analysis is useful not only for discourse analysis but also for planning linguistically effective advertising. Register analysis takes into account cultural context, situational context, including field, tenor and form, and human interpretation of text meaning. With this method, assuming that language is an embodiment of a social process, advertising can be designed according to the social reality of the target market. Abstract

An English folksong entitled The Wellerman became popular in Indonesia recently. Therefore, the accuracy and acceptability in folksong were important to be investigated. This paper reported the accuracy and acceptability of English into Indonesian translation in a folksong entitled The Wellerman. This research applied descriptive qualitative method. In addition, this research combined with purposive sampling technique. Nababan translation quality assessment framework was used to investigate the accuracy and acceptability of the folksong. The whole The Wellerman’s lyrics consist of 28 lines which was then assessed by the raters in terms of its accuracy and acceptability. The raters were 2 translators and 1 writer. The raters were purposely chosen to conduct reliable results of the accuracy and acceptability. This study found the average score of the accuracy was 2. 35 with 198 total scores and the average score of the acceptability was 2.48 with 209 total scores. The result indicates that the translation was relatively accurate and acceptable for the raters. However, it needs further improvement to maintain the context of the source text (ST) in the target text (TT) to reach an accuracy and acceptability in The Wellerman folksong. This study implied that it is crucial to maintain the imagery, narration, and the context of folksong translation.

Abstract

Conditions during the pandemic also had an impact on the decrease in the number of students attending PAUD institutions. This research is based on the belief that local cultural forms are legitimized by formal schools and formal schools can facilitate cultural reproduction. This research agrees that schools only promote and uphold values, norms, traditions and behavior that are acceptable to the local community. The methodology used in this research is a qualitative descriptive research methodology. Innovation in the marketing of education services is very important to attract public interest and attention in sending their children to these institutions. Innovation is also carried out so that the school can maintain its existence in society. The innovations carried out include the marketing of educational services. This must be done by all members involved in educational institutions consisting of teachers, employees, students, to parents or guardians so that it can run successfully. There are seven elements to focus on in carrying out these innovations, namely product, price, place, promotion, people, physical evidence, and process.
