Abstract

This research aims to identify the factors that cause bad credit at the SMP Negeri 35 Medan savings and loan cooperative and describe strategies for dealing with bad credit at the SMP Negeri 35 Medan savings and loan cooperative. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method through interviews, observation, and documentation. The subjects of this research are the Chairman, Supervisory Staff, Bookkeeping Staff. The research is located on Jl. Williem Iskandar Pasar V Medan, Bandar Selamat, Kec. Medan Tembung, Medan City Prov. North Sumatra. The results of this research indicate that the factors causing bad credit at the SMP Negeri 35 Medan savings and loan cooperative are internal and external factors. The internal factors (cooperatives) consist of; cooperative officers' mistakes in analyzing potential debtors, excessive confidence, and family relationships. Meanwhile, external factors (from the customer's side) consist of need factors, the debtor's business failure (bankruptcy), and the debtor experiencing a disaster. The strategies that can be used at the SMP Negeri 35 Medan savings and credit cooperative are billing customers, communicating via telephone, and settling things amicably.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the problems faced by the Bangun Mandiri Savings and Loans Cooperative (KSP) and the solutions implemented to overcome them. Through a qualitative case study approach and in-depth interviews with three cooperative employees, four main problems were found: (1) borrowers stopped working; (2) the borrower runs away; (3) employees embezzle funds; and (4) low profits. KSP Bangun Mandiri addresses problems with a proactive approach, including flexible policies, communication with related parties, as well as evaluation and system updates. The research results show that through the comprehensive implementation of Planning, Organizing, Actuating and Controlling (POAC) management functions, cooperatives can maintain business continuity amidst various challenges. These findings offer insight into the internal dynamics of KSP and practical guidance for effective KSP management.

Abstract

Cooperatives are organizations launched and supported by the government with the aim that these organizations are able to improve people’s welfare through increasing per capita income for both members and non-members. The spread of cooperatives in cities and districts in Indonesia. The approach used is descriptive by interviewing informants in depth. The data sources used in this research are primary data and secondary data. The systems and procedures for implementing savings and loans at the Bona Mandiri Jaya Cooperative have not been carried out in accordance with predetermined procedures, including regarding member registration procedures, member deposit procedures, member loan procedures, loan installment procedures for purchasing goods, savings and loan documents, deposit requirements, loan requirements, loan patterns and deposit conditions can be taken, all the procedures that have been set for the cooperative have been going well and are in accordance with the theory and the law that applies to cooperatives.

Abstract

In order to create the implementation of regional autonomy policies, especially in increasing cooperatives, of course, it must empower micro and small businesses which are of particular concern in this use. In line with the existence of regional autonomy policies in the implementation of cooperatives, of course it involves the existence of a property business to determine the quality of the implementation of these cooperatives so that they are able to provide the best competitiveness for the community. The bridal design used in this research is qualitative where the researcher acts as a key instrument in the research supported by data collection techniques using triangulation or combined research

Abstract

Medium enterprises are productive economic enterprises that stand alone, carried out by branches of individuals or business entities that are not subsidiaries with a total net worth of more than Rp. 500 million to Rp. 10 billion and a total turnover of Rp. 2.5 billion to Rp. 50 billion. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of work discipline in improving employee performance at the UKM Cooperative Kabanjahe Karo Regency. This research uses quantitative methods. This type of research is research that takes samples from a population and uses a questionnaire as a data collection instrument. Thus this research is categorized as explanatory research. The influence of work discipline possessed by employees and the greater the performance given, the higher the work productivity of employees which will have a positive effect on the performance of employees in the company as a whole.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises or abbreviated UMKM are businesses carried out by the community and refer to productive economic businesses owned by individuals or business entities in accordance with the criteria stipulated by Law no. 20 of 2008. Referring to North Sumatra BPS data, the economic census in 2016 revealed that the percentage of non-agricultural MSEs according to business status, 98.84 percent of micro-small businesses and 1.16 percent (Percentage of Non-agricultural MSEs by Business Status, 2016) are medium-sized businesses. big. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach based on descriptive analysis. Based on the analysis of the results of the discussion that in carrying out the empowerment carried out by the Office of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises with Stephen P. Robbins' Strategy Theory indicators, the process is still quite good.

Abstract

The Republic of Indonesia Employee Consumer Cooperative (KK.PRI) in developing its business has helped members meet their needs, and the problem that is not running smoothly is that cooperative members often make payments when they are due. These problems result in unstable cooperative finances and even make it difficult for members to take out loans at the cooperative. Therefore, the aim of writing this article is to (1) analyze the reasons why members (KK.PRI) often make payments due (2) identify solutions to members' problems. The subjects in this research are: (1) Chairman (2) Treasurer (3) Savings Staff. The Republic of Indonesia Employee Consumer Cooperative is located at Jl. Tembung Pasar VIII SMPN 2 Tembung. The results of this research show that the factors causing members to often make payments due are: (1) financial constraints, (2) lack of understanding regarding payment terms, (3) lack of commitment and contribution of members in their responsibilities, (4) prioritizing other payments. .  The solutions to this problem are (1) Give members time to make payments. (2) Reminding members to make payments, (3) Directly deducting cooperative members' salaries (4) Strengthening regulations.

Abstract

This research analyzes and examines problems within cooperative organizations, especially internal and external problems that occur. According to cooperative law, cooperatives are business entities consisting of people or cooperative legal entities that base their activities on cooperative principles, as well as being a people's economic movement based on Based on deficiencies in posting posts, an organization will definitely have problems. Therefore, the research aims to uncover the problems that exist in CU cooperatives. Our expectation. The data collection technique used in this research is through observation, interviews and documentation, as well as using qualitative descriptive research methods. This research will show the causes of the problem and how the cooperative handles the problem. The research results show a lack of development of effective marketing strategies, dependence on limited capital sources, lack of member involvement in strategic decision making, as well as problems related to employee loans and bad credit for customers.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify the role of the Sibotolungun Savings and Loans Cooperative (KSP) in the development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Medan Barat District and to determine the efforts of the Sibotolungun Savings and Loans Cooperative (KSP) in empowering the community economy in Medan Barat District . This research was conducted using qualitative analysis methods with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The number of informants involved in this research was 4 people consisting of 1 KSP Sibotolungun employee and 3 MSME entrepreneurs. The results of this research show that: 1). The Sibotolungun Savings and Loans Cooperative (KSP) acts as a provider of capital financing for MSMEs, which contributes to economic growth and as an alternative savings institution other than banks. 2) KSP Sibotolungun’s Efforts to empower the community’s economy are carried out through providing counseling and Assistance to increase sales, so that entrepreneurs can remain competitive in the market.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the factors that cause problematic credit at the KGPN Cooperative, Medan Tembung District. This research uses qualitative research with interview observation and documentation methods. The problems in this research are: 1. What causes Bad Credit in Cooperatives? 2. What are the Efforts to Pay Off Loans for Cooperative Members Who Bail Out Customers of the Medan Tembung District KGPN Cooperative? The effort to resolve the loan bailout from cooperative members which was bailed out by KGPN Cooperative customers in Medan Tembung District is to carry out good communication with customers. If you don't get results, you will contact someone close to the customer. Cooperatives are the implementation of chapter 33 of the Constitution as regulated in Law Number 25 of 1992 concerning Cooperatives. Cooperatives in Indonesia have a big influence on the survival of local residents. Moreover, in cooperatives there are several cooperative members and non-cooperative members who are not punctual in returning their debts at the predetermined time. Bad credit in savings and loan cooperatives has become a matter of great concern for the health of the cooperative itself. Bad debts in cooperatives are increasing over time and are difficult to collect. Gutter funds are widely used in the current transaction process. Such as implementing the pay late concept which uses bailout funds first. So that the main payment is made in accordance with the terms and policies of both parties. In other cases, bailout funds can be applied to various transaction areas, not only buying and selling transactions.
