Abstract

Student learning assistance at home is very much needed by a student, this is important to do considering the limitations of teachers at school in teaching students in the classroom. Tutoring is an effort made to provide assistance to students to better understand the material. If a student already understands, it will affect the enthusiasm and motivation of student learning from now on to the future. The purpose of this study is to foster student learning motivation through the level of student understanding of a material that is implemented through tutoring activities. the method in this study using the PAR (Participation Action Research) method. Participatory Action Research (PAR) is a research method that is carried out in a participatory manner among community members, namely Santri at TPQ Nurudholam Dusun Sawangan. The results of the implementation of this tutoring program were able to foster students' enthusiasm for learning, which was proven enthusiastically during learning mentoring activities.

Abstract

Islam is very concerned about cleanliness/holiness and views it as important as an inseparable part of a series of worship. In the implementation of worship, there is a need for cleanliness/holiness itself. This means that true worship is worship performed by people who have maintained cleanliness and purified themselves. There are still many researchers who see children or people performing ablution carelessly or imperfectly. This time the researcher took the theme of learning the practice of ablution which aims to make the children of TPA Al-Hidayah able to carry out their obligations properly and correctly, so that what we teach them can be useful for the life of the community or the life to come. The research method used is the PAR (Participation Action Research) method, covering learning activities, mentoring, planning, research, development to the implementation of research programs involving the wider community or specific target groups. As for the results of this service program research, children can distinguish between rubbing and washing in ablution.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai ekoteologi Islam melalui gerakan peremajaan apotek hidup di Desa Melayu Besar, Kecamatan Tanah Putih Tanjung Melawan, Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah menurunnya kesadaran ekologis masyarakat serta berkurangnya pemanfaatan pekarangan rumah tangga sebagai ruang produktif dan berkelanjutan. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah partisipatif berbasis pemberdayaan masyarakat, dengan tahapan observasi sosial-ekologis, edukasi religius-ekologis, aksi peremajaan apotek hidup, serta pendampingan dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai relasi antara iman dan tanggung jawab ekologis, yang diwujudkan melalui praktik nyata penanaman dan perawatan tanaman obat keluarga. Selain berdampak pada peningkatan kualitas lingkungan dan kesehatan keluarga, kegiatan ini juga memperkuat partisipasi sosial dan kesadaran kolektif masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to examine Tafsir Rahmat by H. Oemar Bakri as a representative work of the Nusantara exegetical tradition with a pedagogical orientation, functioning as a medium of Islamic education in the early twentieth century. The work emerged amid the dynamic efforts of Indonesian Muslims to balance the spirit of modernity with Islamic traditional values. Through communicative Malay and a simple interpretive style, Oemar Bakri presented tafsir as a means of da‘wah and moral education, particularly for the younger generation. Employing critical discourse analysis and contextual hermeneutics, this study explores the linguistic, ideological, and social dimensions embedded in the text. The findings reveal that Tafsir Rahmat not only interprets Qur’anic verses but also instills Islamic educational values emphasizing moral development, social responsibility, and religious character. Its pedagogical tone highlights the role of tafsir as a living educational discourse within the social and cultural context of Indonesian Muslim society.

Abstract

The phenomenon of childfree, namely the conscious decision not to have offspring, is a contemporary social dynamic that impacts the Islamic family law system, particularly in the area of inheritance. This study aims to analyze how the choice of childfree affects the structure of inheritance rights in Islam and how the maqashid shari’ah approach can be employed to address these changes. Employing normative legal research methods with theological, conceptual, and maqashid shari’ah approaches, the study finds that the absence of descendants due to a childfree decision shifts the inheritance structure to horizontal relatives or the public treasury (Baitul Mal). Instruments such as wills (wasiyyah) and grants (hibah) play a crucial role in regulating the distribution of estates in this context. The study concludes that although childfree alters the traditional family structure, the principles of justice, property protection, and social sustainability can still be upheld within the Islamic legal framework through a maqashid shari’ah-based reinterpretation. Therefore, strengthening legal literacy and adjusting regulations are essential to address this phenomenon fairly and in line with Islamic objectives

Abstract

Abstrak Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan pengetahuan dan pelatihan kepada remaja di Desa Beseran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dasar dalam menggunakan perangkat lunak Microsoft Office, terutama Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, dan Microsoft PowerPoint. Pelatihan ini berlangsung selama 45 hari, mulai tanggal 20 Juli hingga 30 September 2023. Proses kegiatan ini mencakup tiga tahap utama: persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah remaja di Desa Beseran, Kecamatan Kaliangkrik, Magelang, Jawa Tengah, dengan partisipasi sebanyak 20 peserta. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa remaja tersebut berhasil menguasai Microsoft Office, terutama Microsoft Word, Excel, dan PowerPoint, yang nantinya akan mereka gunakan dengan mahir untuk mengerjakan tugas-tugas sekolah dan sebagai bekal untuk karier di masa mendatang. Kata kunci: microsoft office; pelatihan; pengabdian kepada masyarakat; remaja. Abstract This community service activity aims to provide knowledge and training to teenagers in Beseran Village to improve basic skills in using Microsoft Office software, especially Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. This training lasts 45 days, from July 20 to September 30, 2023. This activity includes three main stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The target of this activity is teenagers in Beseran Village, Kaliangkrik District, Magelang, Central Java, with 20 participants. The results show that these teenagers have succeeded in mastering Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, which they will then use proficiently to do school assignments and as a preparation for future careers. Keywords: training; community service; microsoft office; adult.

Abstract

This qualitative field research aims to analyze the implementation of Bahtsul Masail activities related to Fiqih material at the Roudlotut Thullab Boarding School and determine its role in enhancing the santri's critical thinking skills, alongside identifying the inhibiting factors to its execution. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results reveal that Bahtsul Masail includes specific components and stages central to the curriculum. The improvement of students' critical thinking skills is evident in their ability to comprehend and articulate problems, identify relevant sources, analyze and link answers to the debated issues, and ultimately determine the most appropriate solution. However, the implementation faces several obstacles, including the low level of santri courage and self-confidence, incomplete reference sources, sub-optimal ability and interest in reading the yellow book, and issues with timely attendance in the forum. The study concludes that Bahtsul Masail is a highly effective method for developing high-level critical thinking in religious education.

Abstract

Kepala Koordinator Wilayah (Korwil) Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Disdikbud) Kecamatan Borobudur telah berhasil menerapkan gaya kepemimpinan situasional dengan efektif. Implementasi ini terlihat dari kemampuan fleksibilitas pemimpin dalam menyesuaikan gaya kepemimpinannya dengan berbagai situasi dan kondisi tertentu. Penerapan gaya kepemimpinan situasional oleh Kepala Korwil Disdikbud Kecamatan Borobudur menjadi relevan karena seringnya dihadapkan pada dinamika dan keunikan lokal dalam manajemen pendidikan. Gaya kepemimpinan ini memungkinkan pemimpin untuk menyesuaikan pendekatannya sesuai dengan kebutuhan spesifik di setiap wilayah kecamatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi gaya kepemimpinan situasional oleh Kepala Korwil Disdikbud dalam meningkatkan efektivitas kepemimpinan. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini memfokuskan pada implementasi gaya kepemimpinan situasional oleh Kepala Korwil Disdikbud Kecamatan Borobudur. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa Kepala Korwil berhasil menerapkan keempat gaya kepemimpinan situasional (telling, selling, participating, delegating) dengan baik. Ini mencakup memberikan perintah jelas, memberikan tugas bertahap, melibatkan bawahan dalam kegiatan dan pengambilan keputusan, serta memberikan tanggung jawab penuh kepada bawahan sambil memantau perkembangan pekerjaan. Implementasi gaya kepemimpinan situasional ini memungkinkan adaptasi yang efektif terhadap kematangan bawahan dan kebutuhan situasional yang berbeda, menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang dinamis, responsif, dan produktif.

Abstract

Canva training was conducted during community service at the An-Nawawi 2 Magelang Islamic boarding school. The purpose of this community service is to explain how to enhance creativity by utilizing the Canva application as a means of development and progress for the boarding school. Through this training, participants will be trained to create attractive professional promotional materials, such as posters, brochures, leaflets, and social media content, with the aim of improving the image and expanding the reach of the boarding school's da'wah. Additionally, this training allows the boarding school to remain independent and build its own visual identity, such as by creating logos for various business units. This will enable the boarding school to increase its branding value and business appeal. It is expected that the use of the Canva application will accelerate the process of enhancing the creativity of the students, and make the pesantren (Islamic boarding school) more prepared to keep up with technological advancements, thereby expanding the role of da'wah and strengthening the economic independence of the pesantren. This study uses the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) method. This method is intended so that the students can better utilize modern digitalization for the progress of the pesantren. The subjects of this community service are the students. The results of this service show that in the Discovery method, digital design knowledge is still low. In the Dream method, it was found that students and pesantren administrators hope that the pesantren can be better known to the outside community. In the Design method, strategic initiatives were designed to advance the students' creative thinking by conducting small-scale socialization on the basic knowledge of using Canva. In the Define method, Canva training focuses on enhancing the abilities of students and student administrators to create promotional designs, dakwah content, and pesantren business logos. Besides developing the image, it can also be used for digital dakwah and the economic independence of the pesantren. In the Destiny/Delivery method, researchers implement all the plans that have been made by collaborating with administrators and students to ensure that this Canva socialization can become an engaging and comfortable way to expand the reach of promotions as well as channel students' creativity through the Appreciative Inquiry approach (Discovery, Dream, Define, Destiny).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas metode sorogan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman santri terhadap kitab Jurumiyah (buku tata bahasa Arab) di Pondok Pesantren Putri Al Ma'rufiyah Tempuran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan sampel 11 santriwati dari angkatan 2023/2024 untuk mengetahui efektivitas metode sorogan. Analisis kinerja mereka dalam tes dan tugas pemahaman menunjukkan bahwa metode ini efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang Jurumiyah. Efektivitas metode sorogan dipengaruhi oleh faktor pendukung dan penghambat. Faktor pendukungnya antara lain penjelasan yang jelas dari guru yang penuh perhatian. Namun, kelemahan dari metode ini adalah potensi monoton yang dapat menyebabkan kebosanan siswa. The effectiveness of the Sorogan Kitab Jurumiyah learning method at Pondok Pesantren Putri Al Ma'rufiyah Tempuran Abstract: This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Sorogan method in improving students' understanding of the Jurumiyah (an Arabic grammar book) at Al Ma'rufiyah Tempuran Girls' Islamic Boarding School. This research, employing a quantitative descriptive method with a sample of 11 female students from the Class of 2023/2024, investigates the effectiveness of the Sorogan method. The analysis of their performance in tests and comprehension tasks suggests that the method is effective in improving their understanding of the Jurumiyah. The effectiveness of the sorogan method is influenced by both supporting and inhibiting factors. Supportive factors include clear explanations from attentive teachers. However, the method's potential downside is its potential for monotony, which can lead to student boredom.
