Abstract

Villages as the smallest aspect of a country have a very significant role in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program. This study aims to identify problems that occur in the process of collecting and updating Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) data in Tambakrejo Village as well as efforts made by working group volunteers to overcome problems in the SDGs data collection process. The informants in this study are village heads, village secretaries, government heads, village admins, and data collection enumerators who are members of a data collection working group for the SDGs of Tambakrejo Village. The data collection technique uses semi-structured in-depth interviews and documentation. The data obtained was analyzed using Edward III's Policy Implementation Theory. The results of this study show that there are problems faced by volunteers in collecting and updating Tambakrejo Village SDGs data, including the lack of enumerator competence in communicating with the community. The absence of coordination between villages makes it difficult to collect data on mutated residents, and low village commitment results in data not being updated thoroughly. Limited resources, including network constraints, and application maintenance, are also obstacles, plus the double burden faced by enumerators who also serve as PKK cadres. In addition, filling out complicated forms as part of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and unsynchronized data resulted in inaccurate targets in providing assistance.

Abstract

BAZNAS Kota Depok menghadapi tantangan dalam proses pengumpulan dan penyaluran zakat yaitu manajemen proses pengelolaan yang belum terdigitalisasi sepenuhnya dan keterampilan sumber daya manusia terkait digitalisasi yang belum siap sepenuhnya. Oleh karena itu, untuk memastikan efektivitas proses transformasi digital dalam pengelolaan zakat, dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang diselenggarakan oleh Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Terpadu Nurul Fikri dengan memberikan fasilitasi kepada organisasi BAZNAS Kota Depok. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga memberdayakan sumber daya manusia BAZNAS Depok, baik pengurus maupun relawan, dalam penguasaan keterampilan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam rangka digitalisasi pengelolaan zakat. Fasilitasi transformasi digital diberikan terutama melalui penyediaan sistem informasi terpadu berbasis web yang diimplementasikan yang memungkinkan akses yang fleksibel dari segi lokasi dan waktu oleh semua pemangku kepentingan yang terkait dengan pengelolaan zakat di BAZNAS Kota Depok, sedangkan peningkatan keterampilan sumber daya manusia dicapai melalui kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan. Pelaksanaan fasilitasi dan pendampingan telah meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan anggota BAZNAS Kota Depok terhadap proses dan kunci kesuksesan transformasi digital yang sedang dilaksanakan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang telah dilakukan diharapkan dapat mengoptimalkan manajemen proses pengelolaan zakat di BAZNAS Kota Depok dan juga dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kepada masyarakat yaitu mempermudah pendataan masyarakat muzakki dalam menyerahkan zakat serta mempercepat penyaluran ke masyarakat mustahik secara tepat sasaran.

Abstract

This abstract explores the impact of compensation and work discipline on employee job satisfaction at the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. Compensation, encompassing financial and non-financial rewards, recognizes employee contributions, enhancing job satisfaction and motivation for improved performance. Work discipline, reflecting responsibility and adherence to rules, significantly influences employee productivity and managerial interactions. Using quantitative research methods, the study investigates the individual effects of compensation (X1) and work discipline (X2) on job satisfaction (Y). Results indicate both variables positively and significantly affect job satisfaction (Y), with respective t-values of 5.022 and 5.328 and significances <0.05. Additionally, the combined effect (F-value 54.123) underscores their joint impact. Future research should further explore these dynamics to provide deeper insights and contribute to organizational enhancements, particularly within the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. Expanding and applying existing theories within local contexts can address identified gaps, fostering a more comprehensive understanding of employee satisfaction drivers.

Abstract

Researchers have thoroughly investigated generalized distributions due to their inherent flexibility, which allows them to include several well-known distributions as special cases. Among these, the four parameter Generalized Beta of the Second Kind (GB2) distribution stands out as one of the most versatile frameworks in probability theory. Despite its broad applications, the GB2 distribution’s characteristic function, a critical tool in probability and statistical analysis, lacks a closed-form solution in the existing literature. This study pursues two primary objectives: first, to derive the characteristic function and the kth moment of the GB2 distribution, and second, to demonstrate how the GB2 distribution can serve as a close approximation to the Singh-Maddala, Dagum, and Fisk distributions using its characteristic function and kth moment. These derivations and approximations rely on gamma and beta functions, supplemented by the Maclaurin series expansion.

Abstract

Annually, the banking sector consistently undergoes substantial expansion, as demonstrated by the escalating quantity of banks. Nevertheless, this expansion has led to escalating rivalry among banks as they strive to offer superior service to consumers, ultimately impacting customer migration across organizations. Customer churn, or attrition, substantially influences a company's financial performance. Hence, it is crucial to discern the conduct of clients who can discontinue their association with the organization. Precise identification is essential to gather the necessary information for the organization to retain clients and decrease churn rates. An effective strategy for addressing this issue is categorizing client behaviour using historical data. The study utilized the Random Forest approach, employing a 90% training data and 10% testing data ratio. The hyperparameter tuning findings indicate that the optimal parameter combination for constructing a Random Forest model is 400 n_estimators and 40 max_depth. The Synthetic Minority Over-Sampling Technique (SMOTE) mitigates data during categorization. The evaluation of the model demonstrates its exceptional performance in classifying imbalanced data, achieving an accuracy of 90.83%, precision of 89.29%, recall of 92.07%, and  f1-score of 90.66%.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the tolerance of the people of Balonggarut Village, Krembung District, Sidoarjo Regency as well as encouragement and hope for religious differences. The targets of this research were Muslim and Hindu communities in Balonggarut Village. The theory used in this research is the Phenoenological Theory developed by Alfred Shut. The approach used in this research is a case study with qualitative methods. This research took informants from the head of Balonggarut Village, Hindu religious leaders, and Muslim communities as research subjects. The data collection techniques used were observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that tolerance in Balonggarut Village, Krembung District, Sidoarjo Regency is at a good level. Through forms of tolerance such as mutual respect, respect and affection for differences with the form of mutual cooperation that is created by participating in the Nyepi holiday and social service. As well as encouragement to be tolerant of religious differences by avoiding disputes and the hope of creating peace in Balonggarut Village, Krembung District, Sidoarjo Regency.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of Pancasila values in the social activities of Generation Z in Sidoarjo District. Generation Z, known for their technological literacy, exhibits unique characteristics in their social behavior, particularly in the context of "nongkrong" (hanging out). What began as a casual activity has evolved into a social space that influences the behavior and perspectives of the younger generation. The values of Pancasila, as the nation's foundational ideology, need to be integrated into daily activities, including during social gatherings. This study employs a qualitative approach, utilizing observations and interviews with Generation Z in several hangout spots in Sidoarjo District. The findings reveal that there are varying levels of understanding and practice of Pancasila values among Generation Z. There is a gap between theoretical knowledge of Pancasila and its application in daily life. However, some values, such as solidarity, tolerance, and mutual cooperation, are still reflected in their activities. The research also identifies that social media plays a significant role in shaping Generation Z's perceptions and behaviors regarding Pancasila. Thus, this study provides new insights into the importance of revitalizing Pancasila values among Generation Z through approaches that align with their characteristics.

Abstract

PT Tunas Toyota Cakung understands that there are imperfections in the company's performance caused by declining productivity and high employee turnover in several production lines. This can interfere with the business in achieving the company's goals in accordance with the company's vision and mission. The purpose of this study is to find out whether the influence of workload and work environment on  employee turnover in the workshop division of PT Tunas Toyota Cakung. This study uses quantitative data with data collection carried out by distributing questionnaires to 50 respondents of PT Tunas Toyota Cakung. The sampling technique in  this study is a saturated sample, where all populations are used as a sample of 50 respondents. This study uses several tests, namely the data quality test, the classical assumption test, the hypothesis test, and the last one there is the determination coefficient (R2) test. The results of the test were found that simultaneously the workload and work environment on  employee turnover in the workshop division of PT Tunas Toyota Cakung with a value of Fcalung (42,462) > Ftabel (3,195), while in the partial variable test, the significance value of the workload variable <0.001<0.05 and the work environment was 0.023<0.05 which means that these two variables had a significant effect on turnover employees in the workshop division of PT Tunas Toyota Cakung..

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis manajemen konflik yang diterapkan di Pondok Pesantren Metal Al-Hidayah Rejoso, Kabupaten Pasuruan. Menggunakan desain kualitatif dengan metode eksploratif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data mencakup pengumpulan, reduksi, tampilan, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Informan dipilih secara purposive sampling, berjumlah lima orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengasuh pesantren menerapkan berbagai strategi manajemen konflik akibat beragam latar belakang santri, seperti memberikan pendampingan kakak asuh sesuai usia, pendidikan melalui program mengaji, khataman Al-Quran, mendirikan sekolah formal, dan pelatihan di bidang perkebunan serta peternakan. Pendekatan ini berhasil membangun citra pesantren sebagai tempat bagi santri bermasalah yang mampu memberikan pendidikan dan perubahan positif, serta menciptakan lingkungan sosial yang nyaman bagi masyarakat sekitar.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of influencer credibility and trust in user reviews on skincare purchasing decisions via social media. Addressing a gap in prior research that largely focuses on general consumer goods, it highlights the skincare sector’s unique characteristics of high involvement, personal preference, and perceived risk. Influencer credibility dimensions include expertise, honesty, sincerity, and engagement, while trust in user reviews is measured through the impact of positive/negative feedback and the credibility of information on product ingredients and long-term effects. Using a quantitative survey with purposive sampling, questionnaires were distributed to frequent skincare buyers on social media. Data were analyzed through multiple regression. Results indicate that influencer expertise and honesty significantly boost purchasing decisions, with engagement fostering trust indirectly. Positive user reviews emphasizing product ingredients and long-term effects also significantly influence decisions, underscoring the value of credible peer content. Findings align with previous studies on the role of credibility and trust in online purchasing but stress the skincare industry’s reliance on transparency and product efficacy. Practically, marketers should collaborate with knowledgeable influencers, ensure transparent communication, and encourage detailed user reviews. Future research should consider moderators like brand loyalty, price sensitivity, and perceived safety.
