Abstract

Character learning is very important in the formation of national buildings. This education is an education whose results cannot be directly felt by parents and educators. In addition, this education requires a long time. With the reading strategy, it is hoped that the student's character can be embedded and well patterned. Through good and appropriate reading, students are able to absorb all what they have read. The purpose of this research is to reveal how to cultivate students' character by practicing reading, and what students and teachers face at school. This research uses qualitative methods and literature study research. Respondents were 4 teachers and 4 junior high school students. The results of the study stated that the teacher inserted character material in the middle of the subject, besides that the teacher gave directions to students to read in the library or elsewhere. Constraints faced by students in realizing reading literacy, incomplete reading sources and real examples from teachers and parents at home

Abstract

AbstrakPengajaran bahasa Indonesia terdiri dari beberapa aspek kemampuan berbahasa dan bersastra. Kemampuan berbahasa dan bersastra meliputi empat aspek keterampilan, yaitu keterampilan membaca, menulis, menyimak, dan berbicara, salah satu dari keempat keterampilan itu yakni keterampilan menulis. Keterampilan menulis tidak dapat diperoleh secara alamiah, tetapi melalui proses belajar mengajar. Karangan narasi merupakan suatu cara pengembangan paragraf yang dirangkai sesuai kronologinya dengan urutan awal, tengah, dan akhir. Karangan narasi lebih condong kepada tujuan untuk memperluas wawasan dan menghibur pembaca. Model pembelajaran Picture and Picture adalah suatu metode belajar yang menggunakan gambar dan dipasangkan atau diurutkan menjadi urutan logis. Pembelajaran ini memiliki ciri Aktif, Inovatif, Kreatif, dan Menyenangkan. Nilai Menulis Karangan Narasi Sebelum Penyuluhan 70.10 sedangkan Nilai Menulis Karangan Narasi Sesudah Penyuluhan 75.90

Abstract

The rapid development of technology makes students have to continue to adapt to various things related to digital. Digital abilities (digital skills) and digital literacy if they are not properly prepared will affect the psychology of students both directly and indirectly. The research method used is a quantitative method. Respondents were 142 junior high school students who attended 2 junior high schools in Bekasi district. The assumption test used is the normality test and homogeneity test. The data is processed with SPSS 20, using tests, and tests. The results of the research are that there is an influence of digital skills on student psychology. There is an influence of digital skills on student psychology and there is an influence of digital skills and digital literacy together on the psychology of junior high school students in Bekasi district, West Java. Children's psychology can be maintained by means of active dialogue and discussion between teachers and children, and parents and students.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah untuk memberikan penyuluhan agar siswa SMA dapat mengatasi sampah organik yang ada di lingkungan sekolah. Selain itu siswa juga diajarkan untuk memanfaatkan sampah anorganik menjadi barang yang bermanfaat. Isu tentang sampah, menjadi alasan mengapa topik sampah anorganik di lingkungan sekolah. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan adalah metode penyuluhan, pendampingan dan evaluasi kegiatan. Adapun yang ikut dalam program ini sebenayak 50 siswa SMA Alikhlas kota Bekasi. Hasil kegiatan siswa mampu mengolah sampah menjadi barang yang dapat diguakan di sekolah. Siswa mendapat nilai yang cukup baik dalam memahami materi. Kegiatan ini sebaiknya dapat menjadi kegiatan rutin, agar hasil yang diperoleh maksimal. Kegiatan dapat dilakukan per semester agar siswa ikut berpartisipasi untuk menjaga kebersihan serta memanfaatkan sampah anorganik.

Abstract

Writing was an ability that needs to be developed from an early age. The ability to write was still an obstacle for teachers and students. This was due to less than optimal reading interest. This activity took place from June to May 2021 . Activity aimed to produce a collection of short stories from the students of SMP Kanzul Mubarok. Activity was attended by 20 students and 3 teachers of SMP Kanzul Mubaarok Bekasi City. The result of the activity was the publication of short stories with characters made by students. The title of a collection of short stories created by students entitled: Can I stay, rays of guidance from the eastern horizon, from Jogya to Malaysia, and true friendship, Sabrina: a glimpse of a travel story. The final result was not everything, students' ability to write must be continuously honed and trained so that the ability to choose diction, grammar and imagination was strong. It could be concluded that students' writing talents and interests had different levels. In writing, students had different abilities, so that teachers must be able to accommodate these various abilities. Students were more excited when their short stories could be published, and given an ISBN
