Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di MI Miftahul Khoir 1 Karangrejo. Kurikulum Merdeka hadir sebagai pendekatan pendidikan yang menekankan pada kebebasan belajar, pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik, serta penguatan karakter melalui Profil Pelajar Pancasila dan Profil Pelajar Rahmatan lil ‘Alamin. Dalam konteks ini, Pendidikan Agama Islam menjadi instrumen strategis dalam membentuk karakter religius, sikap toleran, dan akhlak mulia peserta didik sejak dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan guru PAI dan kepala madrasah, serta dokumentasi pembelajaran. Analisis data dilakukan dengan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman, yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dalam pembelajaran PAI di MI Miftahul Khoir 1 Karangrejo telah berjalan cukup efektif. Guru-guru PAI menerapkan pendekatan diferensiasi dan pembelajaran berbasis projek keagamaan yang kontekstual. Nilai-nilai Pancasila dan ajaran Islam diintegrasikan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dan pembiasaan harian. Penilaian dilakukan secara autentik dengan memperhatikan aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Meskipun terdapat beberapa kendala seperti keterbatasan sarana dan pemahaman kurikulum yang belum merata, pihak madrasah terus melakukan inovasi dan penguatan kolaborasi antara guru, orang tua, dan lingkungan sekitar. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran PAI dalam Kurikulum Merdeka di MI Miftahul Khoir 1 Karangrejo mampu membentuk peserta didik yang tidak hanya cerdas secara intelektual, tetapi juga memiliki karakter religius dan sosial yang kuat. Abstract This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at MI Miftahul Khoir 1 Karangrejo. The Independent Curriculum is present as an educational approach that emphasizes freedom of learning, student-centered learning, and character building through the Pancasila Student Profile and the Rahmatan lil 'Alamin Student Profile. In this context, Islamic Religious Education becomes a strategic instrument in forming religious character, tolerant attitudes, and noble morals of students from an early age. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, in-depth interviews with PAI teachers and madrasah principals, and learning documentation. Data analysis is carried out using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in PAI learning at MI Miftahul Khoir 1 Karangrejo has been quite effective. PAI teachers apply a differentiation approach and contextual religious project-based learning. The values of Pancasila and Islamic teachings are integrated into daily learning and habituation activities. Assessments are carried out authentically by paying attention to cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. Although there are several obstacles such as limited facilities and uneven understanding of the curriculum, the madrasah continues to innovate and strengthen collaboration between teachers, parents, and the surrounding environment. Thus, Islamic Religious Education learning in the Independent Curriculum at MI Miftahul Khoir 1 Karangrejo is able to form students who are not only intellectually intelligent, but also have strong religious and social characters.
