Abstract

The research focuses on beef commodity where beef demands data continue increasing proportionate or in line with increasing population, national per capita income, and the needs of industrial foods process materials. On the other hand, domestic beef supply tends to decrease so it can’t meet domestic demand. Furthermore, there are problems with fulfilling supplies to the end customer. The effort in solving the problems by improving the supply chain process using a model-driven decision support system, to model the existing system and build new scenarios to increase beef supply chain performance. The model-driven decision support system approaches using a system dynamics model to accommodate key variables or parameters that significantly contribute to the continuity strategic beef supply chain. The results showed a policy scenario with success indicators in the form of optimizing average beef weight values to 300 kgs per cattle and with carcass percentage value at 55% life weight, projecting deficit beef values decreasing in each year. At 2027 deficit value becoming small which is 8,520 tons, which ends up becoming surplus in 2028. The results of the model-driven decision support system output scenario can be functioned as input to the decision-maker to elaborate policy process related to the beef's food sector to achieve food self-sufficiency which one of the government missions.

Abstract

STAI Ali bin Abi Talib is one of the private Islamic universities in Surabaya. There are problems where changes in lecturer data (PDD) and others are still done manually in the form of physical files that are brought to Kopertais IV which oversees it. Whereas the Directorate General of Science and Technology Resources (SDID) of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education through circular letter at 2018 has provided direction on the implementation of the Integrated Resource Information System (SISTER) in public and private universiAties. To support this policy, universities need a special party or team to assist the application of technology so that the implementation of SISTER can run well, helping academic activities, data changes, and the tri dharma of lecturers in the future. Community service activities by the Telkom Institute of Technology Surabaya team at STAI Ali bin Abi Thalib were presented and carried out in six stages, starting from literature study, server configuration, preparation of presentation materials and training modules, SISTER application installation process, training, and evaluation. This activity resulted in the SISTER application installed on the STAI Ali bin Abi Thalib server which can be accessed online and also training that provides comprehensive knowledge, skills on the use of the SISTER application and debriefing with 10 video guides and 15 training modules for STAI Ali bin Thalib Surabaya.

Abstract

The researcher partner recommendation system plays a crucial role in fostering academic collaboration in universities, where a challenge for new users is finding suitable research partners. In addressing the limitations of Naïve Bayes classifiers, this article introduces an innovative approach in the form of a non-linear sigmoid activation function. We highlight the urgency of this solution, detail its implementation steps, and describe its substantial contribution to research partner recommendations. This article not only identifies existing obstacles but also proposes revolutionary solutions to enhance the effectiveness of consultation systems in academic environments. A gap in this research is the manual input method for data retrieval, creating weaknesses, susceptibility to human errors, and reduced efficiency in collecting journal data. We propose SPARRING, a researcher recommendation system connected to Google Scholar, in the context of higher education. This approach uses a dataset of faculty members from the Faculty of Information Technology and Business at a private university in Indonesia. The results from Google Scholar extraction, with topic keywords determined by Latent Dirichlet Allocation, are then classified using the Naïve Bayes algorithm. Additionally, we integrate web scraping tools, particularly SerpAPI, to access data from Google Scholar. Through the integration of SerpAPI, the proposed web-based system is capable of providing more accurate recommendations, especially for new users with limited collaboration experience. By incorporating SerpAPI, the proposed web-based system can offer more accurate recommendations, particularly for new users without extensive collaboration experience.

Abstract

Bagian Administrasi Umum dan Kemahasiswaan (BAUK) STIKES Yayasan RS Dr. Soetomo masih menggunakan metode konvensional dalam administrasi rapat, yang kurang efisien dan rentan kesalahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan aplikasi manajemen rapat berbasis web untuk mengotomatisasi pencatatan agenda, daftar hadir, dan notulensi. Pengembangan aplikasi menggunakan metode SDLC Prototype dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan database MySQL. Sistem dimodelkan menggunakan UML, mencakup use case diagram, activity diagram, class diagram, dan sequence diagram. Pengujian dilakukan dengan metode Black Box dan White Box untuk memastikan validitas dan fungsionalitas sistem. Aplikasi ini memiliki fitur utama seperti pengelolaan agenda, daftar hadir otomatis, pengiriman undangan melalui WhatsApp Blast, serta notulensi digital. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem berjalan sesuai harapan, dengan validasi yang baik serta peningkatan efisiensi dalam pengelolaan rapat. Dengan demikian, aplikasi ini memberikan kemudahan dan fleksibilitas dalam administrasi rapat, membantu BAUK dalam mencatat dan mengelola rapat dengan lebih baik. Abstract

Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi, penerapan sistem informasi pada suatu organisasi merupakan hal yang sangat penting. Penerapan sistem informasi dapat mempermudah suatu organisasi dalam mengelola data ataupun operasional sehari hari. Salah satu contoh penerapan sistem informasi adalah dalam pengelolaan data alumni. Ikatan Keluarga Pondok Modern (IKPM) cabang Sidoarjo merupakan lembaga resmi yang berada di bawah naungan Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor yang memiliki tupoksi untuk mengelola alumni dengan domisili Sidoarjo. IKPM Sidoarjo mengalami permasalahan dalam melakukan pengelolaan data alumni dikarenakan banyak nya data yang harus diolah. Penerapan sistem informasi alumni merupakan salah satu solusi yang dapat membantu IKPM Sidoarjo dalam melakukan pengelolaan data alumni. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem informasi alumni menggunakan flutter yang mendukung teknologi multi platform agar aplikasi dapat diakses melalui platform website maupun mobile app. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan pendekatan metode SDLC iterative model yang memungkinkan untuk melakukan pengembangan secara iterasi. Fitur yang akan dikembangkan dalam aplikasi ini yaitu pengelolaan data alumni, pengelolaan informasi, pengelolaan kegiatan dan pemberian kritik serta saran. Pengujian pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode black box testing untuk memastikan seluruh fitur telah berjalan sesuai yang diharapkan. Hasil dari penelitian yaitu membantu IKPM Sidoarjo dalam mengatasi permasalahan utama yaitu pengelolaan data alumni. Kata kunci : sistem informasi alumni, pengelolaan data alumni, flutter, teknologi multi-platform, SDLC iterative model.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pengelolaan data statistik di Kelurahan Gayungan, yang merupakan aspek penting dalam mendukung perencanaan pembangunan yang lebih efektif. Pegawai kelurahan membutuhkan pemahaman yang memadai dalam pengelolaan data untuk memastikan informasi yang disampaikan kepada masyarakat akurat dan transparan. Oleh karena itu, pelatihan dan pengembangan website untuk publikasi data menjadi fokus utama dalam kegiatan ini. Metode yang digunakan mencakup sosialisasi, workshop, dan praktikum yang melibatkan 15 pegawai kelurahan sebagai mitra utama. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui survei sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan untuk mengukur peningkatan keterampilan yang diperoleh. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan pengelolaan data sebesar 82%, serta peningkatan transparansi dan akuntabilitas informasi publik yang disajikan melalui website kelurahan. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini, diharapkan pegawai kelurahan dapat mengelola dan menyajikan data dengan lebih efektif, yang pada gilirannya mendukung perencanaan pembangunan yang lebih baik dan partisipatif.Abstract: This community service activity aims to improve statistical data management skills in Kelurahan Gayungan, which is an important aspect in supporting more effective development planning. Kelurahan employees need adequate understanding in data management to ensure the information delivered to the community is accurate and transparent. Therefore, training and website development for data publication were the main focus of this activity. The methods used included socialization, workshops, and practicum involving 15 kelurahan employees as the main partners. Evaluation was conducted through pre- and post-training surveys to measure the improvement of skills acquired. The results of the training showed an increase in data management skills by 82%, as well as an increase in transparency and accountability of public information presented through the village website. With this training, it is expected that urban village employees can manage and present data more effectively, which in turn supports better and participatory development planning.

Abstract

In a higher education environment that carries out tridharma obligations, one of the roles of a lecturer is to be a researcher. Collaboration between researchers who have different expertise is important to provide solutions to problems and can also improve the quality of the research itself. This research is present to provide a research partner recommendation system by applying the Naïve Bayes machine learning algorithm and the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. Software development is done with PHP programming language and MySQL database. Testing of the software developed using black box testing. The application provides recommendations for research partners based on keywords entered in the form of research topics. Research partner recommendations are given in the form of a weighted value of the percentage of suitability for the keywords entered. The algorithm has been successfully applied and testing has been successfully passed so that researchers can use this software to get the right research partner according to the research topic concerned.

Abstract

Pelatihan menembak merupakan bagian penting dalam pengembangan keterampilan personel militer. Namun, penggunaan senjata asli dalam latihan memiliki risiko yang tinggi dan biaya operasional yang besar. Teknologi Virtual Reality (VR) menawarkan alternatif berupa simulasi pelatihan yang aman, efisien, dan imersif. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan aplikasi simulasi latihan tembak menggunakan pendekatan First Person Shooter (FPS) berbasis VR. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), yang meliputi enam tahap: concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, dan distribution. Aplikasi yang dibangun menyediakan tiga level kesulitan (easy, normal, hard) dan diuji menggunakan metode black-box dengan partisipasi atlet tembak dan pengguna gamer. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi mampu menstimulasikan pengalaman latihan menembak secara realistis dan responsif. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam menyediakan alternatif pelatihan menembak yang adaptif dan berbiaya rendah, serta memiliki potensi untuk diterapkan dalam pelatihan militer atau olahraga tembak.

Abstract

The development of science and technology (IPTEK) is currently experiencing very rapid progress, one of which is seen from the emergence of a digital library information system. The Integrated Management Library System (IMAGIN) is equipped with various features, including e-catalogs. the ability to download, as well as a home page display that can be accessed directly from the device's main screen and the Progressive Web App (PWA) feature. The development of the IMAGIN system so that it can be accessed offline and is based on a mobile application using PWA. The implementation results show that with Service Worker technology and App Shell Architecture, the system can run offline and is compatible with mobile devices. Testing using Edge DevTool Testing and Black Box Testing proved that there were no Errors or Bugs, so this system was declared successfully developed into a PWA-based website.

Abstract

Perkembangan Revolusi Industri 5.0 menuntut koperasi dan UKM untuk memperkuat kepemimpinan digital melalui integrasi teknologi imersif. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan literasi teknologi, minimnya eksposur terhadap pelatihan berbasis simulasi (Online Business Simulation/OBS), dan kesenjangan infrastruktur masih menghambat transformasi ini. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas kepemimpinan digital pelaku koperasi/UKM binaan UPT Pelatihan Dinas Koperasi dan UKM Provinsi Jawa Timur, serta guru dan siswa SMK di Kota Malang, melalui pelatihan berbasis Virtual Reality (VR) dan OBS. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup analisis kebutuhan, pengembangan modul VR dengan skenario bisnis realistis, pelatihan menggunakan platform kolaboratif (Miro dan ClickUp), serta evaluasi berbasis experiential learning. Hasil pelatihan (n=50 peserta) menunjukkan: (1) 96% peserta lebih memilih Miro untuk kolaborasi visual karena kemudahan fitur sticky notes dan papan diskusi; (2) 66% peserta (guru dan pelaku UKM) telah memiliki pengalaman dasar VR, tetapi pemahaman modul meningkat signifikan setelah praktik langsung (dari 38% ke 90% persepsi positif); (3) OBS berhasil menyimulasikan dinamika bisnis secara interaktif, dengan 85% peserta menyatakan peningkatan keterampilan pengambilan keputusan. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan VR-OBS efektif dalam membangun kesiapan kepemimpinan digital yang human-centric, sekaligus menyediakan model pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi UPT Pelatihan Dinas Koperasi dan UKM Jawa Timur dan SMK di Malang. Pengembangan modul dengan video tutorial dan integrasi kurikulum SMK direkomendasikan untuk memperluas dampak.
