Abstract

Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) merupakan senyawa polifenol utama dalam teh hijau, selain epigallocatechin (EGC), epicatechin gallate (ECG) dan epicatechin (EC). Penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa EGCG memiliki aktivitas antibakteri terhadap Staphylococcus aureus, tetapi memiliki bioavailabilitas per oral rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui  korelasi  kadar EGCG dalam plasma dan aktivitas antibakterinya  setelah pemberian fraksi etanol teh hijau dosis tunggal 100 mg/kg bb tikus.  Teh hijau diekstraksi dengan heksana 1 : 10 menggunakan metode Ultrasonic-Assisted Extraction (UAE) selama 2 x 15 menit. Fraksi tidak larut heksana diekstraksi kembali dengan metode yang sama menggunakan etanol 50 % (1:10).  Fraksi etanol teh hijau yang diperoleh ditetapkan kadar total EGCG dengan metode Ultra-Fast Liquid Chromatography. Fraksi etanol teh hijau dosis 100 mg/kg bb diberikan secara per oral terhadap 3 ekor tikus jantan dan sebagai pembanding adalah diberikan larutan kolloidal CMC 1 %. Kadar EGCG dalam plasma dianalisis setelah pemberian per oral berturut-turut 15, 30, 60, dan 120 menit dan ditentukan aktivitas antibakterinya dengan metode difusi agar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  kadar EGCG dalam plasma pada menit pengambilan ke-15, 30, 60, dan 120 berturut-turut adalah 12,674 bpj, 13,277 bpj, 13,035 bpj, dan 12,298 bpj serta memiliki aktivitas antibakteri terhadap S.aureus dengan diameter daerah hambatan rerata berturut-turut 10,93 mm, 11,39 mm, 10,81 mm, dan 9,93 mm. Hasil analisis korelasi Pearson menunjukkan nilai signifikansi  kadar EGCG dan aktivitas antibakteri plasma setelah pemberian fraksi etanol teh hijau pada menit ke-15, 30, 60, dan 120 yaitu 0,037 (p<0,05). Kesimpulan: ada korelasi antara kadar EGCG fraksi etanol teh hijau dalam plasma dengan aktivitas antibakterinya.

Abstract

This paper explores the integration of innovative pedagogies in English Language Teaching (ELT) and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) through the use of technology and collaborative learning. Employing a qualitative approach, the study captures the experiences of educators and students through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and classroom observations. Traditional teaching methodologies often fall short in addressing diverse learner needs and fostering engagement. By leveraging technological advancements such as language learning apps, virtual classrooms, and interactive multimedia tools, in which educators can enhance accessibility, personalize instruction, and increase student interaction. Additionally, collaborative learning strategies, including project-based learning and online discussion forums, cultivate critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills. This paper examines successful case studies and highlights the benefits and challenges of implementing these approaches. The findings underscore the potential of technology and collaboration to transform language education, offering practical recommendations for educators to adopt these innovative methods effectively.

Abstract

Penyakit ginjal kronis (PGK) merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan serius yang memerlukan deteksi dini untuk mencegah komplikasi lebih lanjut dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model prediksi PGK dalam upaya meningkatkan akurasi diagnosis dini PGK dengan dataset yang digunakan diperoleh dari UCI Repository. Metode yang dipakai berbasis algoritma Random Tree yang dioptimasi menggunakan Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) yang berfungsi sebagai metode optimasi untuk meningkatkan kinerja model dengan kedalaman pohon dan jumlah atribut yang dipertimbangkan pada setiap pemisahan, untuk menemukan konfigurasi yang menghasilkan akurasi tertinggi. Proses pengembangan model mencakup tahap seleksi fitur, pelatihan model, dan evaluasi performa menggunakan metrik akurasi, presisi, recall, dan F1-score. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa algoritma Random Tree yang dioptimasi PSO secara signifikan meningkatkan performa prediksi dibandingkan model baseline, dengan akurasi mencapai 94,25%. Optimalisasi ini juga mengurangi kompleksitas model tanpa mengorbankan akurasi. Temuan ini menunjukkan potensi penerapan model yang diusulkan untuk mendukung sistem pengambilan keputusan medis secara lebih efisien, terutama dalam deteksi dini PGK. Rekomendasi lebih lanjut mencakup integrasi model ini pada sistem berbasis teknologi di lingkungan klinis untuk mengurangi beban kerja tenaga medis.

Abstract

Aksara Lontarak merupakan salah satu warisan budaya masyarakat Bugis-Makassar yang memiliki nilai historis dan identitas lokal yang tinggi. Namun, di tengah arus globalisasi dan kemajuan teknologi, minat generasi muda terhadap aksara ini terus menurun. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan dan meningkatkan kemampuan baca-tulis aksara Lontarak kepada siswa sekolah dasar melalui media pembelajaran kreatif berupa mading. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di UPT SPF SDN Parangtambung II dengan pendekatan partisipatoris. Tahapan pelaksanaan meliputi observasi lapangan, perancangan dan pembuatan media mading, pengajaran langsung kepada siswa, serta evaluasi hasil kegiatan. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan mading sebagai media visual interaktif mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap aksara Lontarak secara signifikan. Selain itu, program ini juga menumbuhkan rasa bangga dan cinta terhadap budaya lokal. Dengan demikian, media mading dapat menjadi alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran muatan lokal berbasis budaya di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to map the development, trends, and directions of research related to participative budgeting over the past four decades through a bibliometric analysis approach. Data were obtained from the Scopus database using the keyword “PARTICIPATIVE BUDGETING” for the period 1982–2025, resulting in 166 documents analyzed using VOSviewer and Publish or Perish software. The results show that the topic of particpative budgeting has evolved from a mere managerial mechanism to an interdisciplinary issue involving behavioral, ethical, and organizational governance dimensions. The most frequently appearing keywords include budgetary slack, honesty, performance, and managerial performance, which indicate a research focus on behavioral and managerial performance aspects. Geographically, the United States is the main center of research, followed by Germany, Australia, and Brazil, with increasing contributions from developing countries such as Indonesia. The field of study is dominated by Business, Management and Accounting, but is beginning to expand into Social Sciences and Computer Science. This research provides a theoretical contribution to strengthening the understanding of the role of participation in budgeting effectiveness and opens new research opportunities related to the integration of digital technology, organizational culture, and local context in particpative budgeting.

Abstract

This study aims to describe various leadership strategies implemented by the principal of TK Kemala Bhayangkari 67 Sragen in achieving effective learning. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis involves data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity is ensured through data source triangulation. The results indicate that TK Kemala Bhayangkari 67 Sragen has shown a high commitment to enhancing educational quality by implementing effective leadership strategies. The principal plays a significant role in fostering synergy among the foundation, teachers, and parents to create an excellent learning environment. These strategies include regular supervision and evaluation, distributing leadership to coordinators with specific experience and expertise, and actively involving parents in decision-making. Periodic evaluation and leadership rotation have proven effective in improving communication, cooperation, and overall school performance to achieve effective learning.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the competency needs of school principals in managing the administration of early childhood education at Kindergarten Kemala Bhayangkari 67 Sragen. Early childhood education has an important role in shaping children's early development, and the role of school principals in ensuring effective educational administration is crucial. The research method used was descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach, where data was collected through in-depth interviews with school principals from various early childhood education institutions. The results of the analysis identified a number of key competencies needed by school principals, including leadership that is sensitive to children's needs, management of human, financial and material resources, strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, creativity and community involvement. Child-oriented leadership at Kemala Bhayangkari Kindergarten 67 Sragen emphasizes the interests and needs of children as the main priority, with a focus on the optimal growth and development of each child. Leaders at this institution understand the characteristics and developmental needs of early childhood, encourage an exploratory learning approach, focus on developing social and emotional skills, and ensure parent and community involvement. Through this approach, Kindergarten Kemala Bhayangkari 67 Sragen ensures the best educational experience for children, forms a strong foundation for further development, and helps them grow into talented individuals who contribute positively to society.
