Abstract

Hasil studi awal yang dilakukan di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan dalam naungan organisasi Badan Musyawarah Perguruan Swasta Kota Surakarta sebagai mitra dalam pelaksanan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini memiliki masalah terkait dengan pemahaman, keterampilan dalam menyusun, dan menggunakan lembar kerja.  Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, tim pelaksana kegiatan memberikan pelatihan pengembangan lembar kerja peserta didik model Project based learning (PjBL). Pelaksannaan Kegiatan pengabdian Masyarakat ini diikuti oleh 17 peserta yang berlansung selama satu bulan dengan empat kali pertemuan. Pertemuan pertama, peserta mengikuti pretes dan diberikan wawasan tentang konsep, karakteristik, dan prosedur pengembangan lembar kerja peserta didik PjBL. Pertemuan kedua peserta melakukan konsultasi analisis kebutuhan dan desain pengembangan lembar kerja PjBL. Pertemuan ketiga, peserta konsultasi draf produk lembar kerja dan pertemuan ke empat melakukan finalisasi, menikuti post tes, unggah produk lembar kerja, dan mengisi angket respons kegiatan. Kegiatan ini menghasilkan simpulan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan lembar kerja PjBL. Pelaksanaan pelatihan berlangsung sangat baik ditinjau dari penguasaan materi oleh para naras sumber, kejelasan sajian, penggunnaan bahasa, kedisplinan naras umber dan peserta, interaksi penyaji dengan peserta, ketepatan sajian, kesesuaian tema kegiatan, sarana dan prasana pelatihan. Namun perlu perbaikan dari aspek pelayanan panitia dan kelengkapan informasi panitia kegiatan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan efektivitas bahan pelatihan jurnalistik digital untuk meningkatkan kompetensi sosial bagi siswa SMP dan (2) mendeskripsikan efektivitas bahan pelatihan jurnalistik digital untuk meningkatkan kemampuan prosedural bagi siswa SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif terhadap siswa dan guru dari enam SMP negeri di kabupaten Magetan. Data penelitian berupa dokumen dan hasil angket terhadap siswa dan guru. Teknik analisis menggunakan teknik reduksi data, sajian deskripsi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasilnya menunjukkan kompetensi sosial dan kemampuan prosedural siswa mengalami peningkatan dari pra kegiatan sampai pasca kegiatan. Berdasarkan hasil angket kompetensi sosial siswa menunjukkan kategori ‘selalu dilakukan’ berjumlah 64,17% menjadi 68,17%, ‘sering dilakukan’ berjumlah 28,75% menjadi 32,48%, ‘kadang-kadang’ berjumlah 15,62% menjadi 18,2%, ‘tidak pernah’ berjumlah 4,17% menjadi 18,2%. Hasil angket kemampuan prosedural siswa menunjukkan kategori ‘sangat tidak setuju’ berjumlah 4,17% menjadi 0%, ‘tidak setuju’ berjumlah 26,04% menjadi 10,92%, ‘setuju’ berjumlah 63,88% menjadi 77,25%, ‘sangat setuju’ berjumlah 11,67% menjadi 13,65%. Berdasarkan hasil angket tersebut diperoleh bahwa kompetensi sosial dan kemampuan prosedural siswa menjadi meningkat dari yang tidak dilakukan menjadi dilakukan dan dari yang belum memahami menjadi memahami.

Abstract

There are still many educators who develop tests without going through the stages of item analysis, so the quality of the test items is unknown. This has an impact on the accuracy of the item measurement results. This study aims to analyze the empirical quality of the question items in the final examination of the graphic media development course. The research method used was a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique was the analysis of the answer sheets of student work on the final examinations. The population was made up of students with a total of 90 students. The data were analyzed using the Microsoft Excel 2010 application to determine the level of difficulty, discriminating power, distractor effectiveness, validity, and reliability. The empirical quality research results from a total of 25 multiple-choice items for the item difficulty index. Then, for the effectiveness of the distractor, there were 15 (60%) effective items and 10 (40%) ineffective items. Meanwhile, for the validity of the items, there were 24 (96%) items in the valid category and only 1 (4%) item in the invalid category. The reliability of the test using Cronbach's alpha was in the very high category, namely 0.812. Thus, it can be concluded that the semester final examination for graphic media development courses is appropriate to be used as a tool to measure student competency.

Abstract

 Fokus utama guru dalam proses pembelajaran termasuk di sekolah dasar adalah meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Motivasi juga memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan keberhasilan siswa. Begitu juga hasil belajar dapat dijadikan sebagai tolak ukur keberhasilan siswa.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Fan-N-Pick berbantuan video pembelajaran terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN Blembem 1 tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Penelitian menggunakan desain eksperimen semu (quasi experimental design) menggunakan model penelitian yang digunakan adalah nonequivalent control group design. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan angket motivasi dan tes hasil belajar kognitif. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji prasyarat (uji normalitas dan homogenitas) dan uji hipotesis (uji independent t). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Fan-N-Pick berbantuan video berpengaruh terhadap motivasi siswa dengan hasil independent t test diperoleh nilai Asymp sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Model pembelajaran Fan-N-Pick berbantuan video juga berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa dengan hasil independent t test diperoleh nilai Asymp sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,001 < 0,05.

Abstract

Technological advancements are transforming education worldwide, offering new opportunities to enhance accessibility and learning quality. This article examines global trends such as AI-driven personalized learning, online and hybrid models, gamification, and immersive technologies like AR and VR. While these innovations offer benefits, including broader access and skill development, challenges persist, such as digital divides, data security, and teacher training gaps. To address these issues, strategies like investing in digital infrastructure, integrating technology into curricula, and fostering global collaboration are proposed. Educational technology has the potential to create inclusive and future-ready learning systems, provided challenges are met with coordinated efforts.

Abstract

This research problem focuses on the low learning outcomes of students in the Human Reproductive System material, which the lack of variation in learning strategies and low student independence in learning can cause. This study aims to explore the effect of Blended Problem-Based Learning (PBL) assisted by educator blogs on biology learning outcomes on the topic of the Human Reproductive System and student learning independence. With a 2x2 quasi-experimental research design involving 144 grade XI students, the method of determining the control and experimental classes is by randomly drawing 2 classes by taking a roll of the control and experimental classes. The first is the control class, namely learning with the Expository Method, and the second is the experimental class, namely learning with Blended Problem-based learning Assisted by Educator Blogs. The determination of the sample in this study was carried out using a non-probability sampling technique. The technique used in this sample is saturated sampling. Data were collected through pre-and post-tests and analyzed using Two-Way ANOVA in SPSS 27. The results showed that Blended PBL significantly improved biology learning outcomes, especially in students with high learning independence. This study introduces a practical digital approach combining PBL with educators' online resources, providing insights into technology-based learning strategies that can improve students' academic outcomes according to their level of independence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the profile of critical thinking skills among upper-grade elementary school students by examining three core indicators: question formulation, strategy planning, and decision evaluation. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, involving 100 fifth and sixth grade students in a Jakarta elementary school. Data were collected using a validated critical thinking test and Likert-scale questionnaires administered to students and teachers. Triangulation techniques were applied by combining test results, questionnaires, and structured classroom observations. The results showed that students performed very well in formulating questions (mean score = 80), moderately in planning strategies (mean score = 65), and poorly in evaluating decisions (mean score = 58). Questionnaire and observation data reinforced these findings, highlighting students' tendency to seek direct answers rather than explore multiple solutions. Teachers were observed to dominate classroom interactions, which limited students’ reflective thinking opportunities. This research emphasizes the need for instructional innovations, particularly through the implementation of problem-based learning and reflective discussions, to foster students’ ability to critically analyze and evaluate information. Furthermore, the findings provide practical implications for educators and policymakers to design learning environments that encourage autonomy, inquiry, and higher-order thinking skills among elementary students. The study provides comprehensive insights into how critical thinking develops in elementary students and suggests strategies for more effective curriculum implementation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan pemecahan masalah antara siswa yang mengikuti Problem Based Flipped Learning (PBFL) dan Problem Based Learning (PBL), (2) mengetahui perbedaan berdasarkan tingkat Self Regulated Learning (SRL), serta (3) mengetahui interaksi antara PBFL dan SRL terhadap keterampilan pemecahan masalah. Penelitian menggunakan desain quasi eksperimen dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes hasil belajar dan angket SRL. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan ANOVA dua jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kelompok PBFL dan PBL, di mana PBFL memberikan hasil lebih baik; (2) siswa dengan SRL tinggi menunjukkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah lebih baik dibandingkan yang SRL sedang dan rendah; (3) terdapat interaksi antara metode pembelajaran dan tingkat SRL terhadap keterampilan pemecahan masalah. PBFL efektif meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah pada mata pelajaran Biologi kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Gading Probolinggo.
