Abstract

ABSTRACTOne of the implementations of the tridarma of higher education is community service. Thematic Real Work Lecture (KKN-T) is a form of service activity from a person or group of students to the community. Students who are included in it are followed by cross-vocational. In the implementation of the Thematic Real Work Lecture (KKN-T), several problems were found among the community including tourism, education and government. This Thematic KKN raised one of the themes determined from the campus, namely "Innovation in Tourism Area Development". This activity aims to help the community in promoting tourism and serving the community. From the observation activities carried out in the field, it was found that there were several things that became obstacles for the community, namely in the field of promoting tourism. The steps taken in this activity are cleaning around Simulluk Cave and making promotional videos that allow tourists to find out about this tourism. After making a video, it is hoped that tourism can be recognised by the wider community and can develop as an effort to develop tourism. Keywords: tourism resort, promotion, profile video ABSTRAKSalah satu implementasi dari tridarma perguruan tinggi adalah pegabdian kepada masyrakat. Kuliah Kerja Nyata Tematik (KKN-T)merupakan sebuah bentuk kegiatan pegabdian dari seorang atau sekelompok mahasiswa kepada masyrakat. Mahasiswa yang terdapat didalamnya diikuti oleh lintas kejuruan. Dalam pelaksanaan Kuliah Kerja nyata Tematik (KKN-T) menemukan beberapa permasalahan yang ditemui dikalangan masyarakat diantaranya pariwisata, pendidikan dan pemerintah. KKN Tematik ini mengangkat salah satu tema yang telah ditentukan dari kampus yaitu “ Inovasi Pengembangan Kawasan Wisata”. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membantu masyarakat dalam mempromosikan wisata dan mengabdi kepada masyarakat. Dari kegiatan observasi yang dilakukan dilapangan ditemukan ada beberapa hal yang menjadi kendala masyarakat yakni dalam bidang mempromosikan pariwisata. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini yakni membersihkan sekitar Goa Simulluk serta membuat video promosi yang memungkinkan wisatawan bisa mengetahui pariwisata ini. Setelah membuat video diharapkan pariwasata bisa dikenal masyarakat luas dan dapat berkembang sebagai upaya pengambangan pariwisata.Kata Kunci: objek wisata, promosi, video profil

Abstract

This research aims to increase agricultural productivity and empower the community through the manufacture of bokashi organic fertilizer in Sangpiak Salu Village. This activity involves the utilization of organic waste, especially livestock manure, which is fermented using effective microorganisms (EM4) to produce quality fertilizers. The results of the study show that the use of bokashi fertilizer significantly increases plant growth, improves soil structure, and provides economic added value for farmers. In addition, this program has also succeeded in increasing public awareness of the importance of sustainable agriculture.

Abstract

This study aims to build a model of church financial accountability in a synodal presbyterial perspective. The locus of this research is in the Toraja Church which is experiencing very rapid growth. The Church as the People of God is a pageantry that is in complete communion and still goes together, travels, thinks together, and acts together by imitating the teachings of Jesus Christ. By the Toraja Church, the teachings of Jesus were implemented in attachment to the Toraja Church Confession and the Toraja Church Order as a result of the trial of the Presbyters as Ecclesiastical Office Holders. Presbyters are instituted in Church assemblies with three ecclesiastical ministry offices: elder, deacon and pastor. The highest power is in the presbyter sessions, both in the scope of congregations, classics, regional synods and General synods. The results of this study show that accountability and accountability of the Toraja Church's finances and property in the spirit of presbyterial synodal is directed at  cross accountability, namely horizontal accountability and vertical accountability. Horizontal accountability shows that (1) the property of the Toraja Church is used, supervised and examined within the framework of stewardship (stewarship), (2) the property of the Toraja Church is accountable to all stakeholders which is manifested in the accountability of the Church Assembly at each scope of the trial. While vertical accountability shows that (1) the property of the Toraja Church belongs to God who must be accounted for its management, (2) the property of the Toraja Church is used for God's glory in service. Therefore, accountability must be prepared by church assemblies who are given the responsibility of carrying out ministry activities within the scope of their organization. On the spiritual aspect, accountability by church assemblies means transcendence to God as the owner of all life and the universe.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru-guru di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Toraja Utara dalam merancang bahan ajar digital yang efektif dan menarik. Pendidikan di era digital menuntut guru untuk memahami dan menguasai alat-alat desain grafis dan teknologi pendidikan guna mengoptimalkan pembelajaran. Pendekatan pengabdian ini melibatkan serangkaian sosialisasi dan pelatihan bagi guru-guru SMA dalam penggunaan perangkat lunak desain grafis, alat pembuatan konten e-learning, dan strategi pendidikan berbasis teknologi. Workshop, diskusi, dan pelatihan langsung menjadi sarana utama dalam transfer pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada para pendidik. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam merancang bahan ajar digital yang lebih menarik dan efektif. Guru-guru menjadi lebih percaya diri dalam menggunakan alat-alat desain grafis dan teknologi pendidikan untuk menciptakan konten pembelajaran yang berkualitas. Dampak positif juga terlihat dalam peningkatan minat belajar siswa dan hasil pembelajaran yang lebih baik. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan kontribusi positif dalam peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di tingkat SMA, menghadirkan inovasi dalam proses pembelajaran, dan membantu guru dalam memenuhi tuntutan era pendidikan digital. Melalui upaya ini, diharapkan guru-guru di SMA dapat lebih siap menghadapi tantangan pendidikan di era digital dan menginspirasi siswa untuk mencapai potensi terbaik mereka.  Abstract. This community service aims to improve the ability of teachers in Senior High Schools (SMA) North Toraja to design effective and attractive digital teaching materials. Education in the digital era requires teachers to understand and master graphic design tools and educational technology to optimize learning. This service approach involves a series of socialization and training for high school teachers in the use of graphic design software, e-learning content creation tools, and technology-based education strategies. Workshops, discussions, and hands-on training were the main means of transferring knowledge and skills to the educators. The results of this service showed an increase in teachers' ability to design more attractive and effective digital teaching materials. Teachers became more confident in using graphic design tools and educational technology to create quality learning content. Positive impacts are also seen in increased student learning interest and better learning outcomes. This service aims to make a positive contribution to improving the quality of education at the high school level, bringing innovation to the learning process, and assisting teachers in meeting the demands of the digital education era. Through these efforts, it is hoped that high school teachers can be better prepared to face the challenges of education in the digital era and inspire students to achieve their best potential.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan sosialisasi pencegahan hoaks kepada siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) dengan fokus pada peningkatan kesadaran media sosial. Fenomena hoaks atau berita palsu telah menjadi masalah serius dalam lingkungan media sosial, yang dapat merugikan individu dan masyarakat. Siswa SMK dianggap sebagai salah satu kelompok yang rentan terhadap penyebaran hoaks dan informasi palsu karena intensitas penggunaan media sosial mereka. PKM ini melibatkan pelaksanaan dengan kegiatan sosialisasi edukasi yang sesuaikan dengan media sosial unruk siswa SMK. Selain itu, kami menggunakan teknik interaktif yang relevan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang tanda-tanda hoaks, cara memverifikasi informasi, dan dampak negatif dari penyebaran berita palsu. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kesadaran media sosial siswa SMK terkait pencegahan hoaks. Mereka menjadi lebih kritis dalam mengevaluasi informasi yang mereka temui di media sosial dan lebih bertanggung jawab dalam berbagi informasi. Selain itu, para siswa juga memahami betapa pentingnya literasi media dalam era digital yang penuh dengan informasi yang tidak diverifikasi.Dengan demikian, proyek ini memberikan kontribusi yang berharga dalam membantu siswa SMK menjadi lebih cerdas dan bertanggung jawab dalam menggunakan media sosial, sehingga dapat meminimalkan penyebaran hoaks dan informasi palsu di masyarakat. Dengan peningkatan kesadaran media sosial ini, diharapkan dapat menciptakan lingkungan digital yang lebih aman dan informatif bagi generasi muda.  Abstract. This Community Service (PKM) aims to provide outreach on hoax prevention to Vocational High School (SMK) students with a focus on increasing social media awareness. The phenomenon of hoaxes or fake news has become a serious problem in the social media environment, which can be detrimental to individuals and society. Vocational school students are considered to be a group that is vulnerable to the spread of hoaxes and false information because of the intensity of their use of social media. This PKM involves implementing educational outreach activities that are adapted to social media for vocational school students. In addition, we use relevant interactive techniques to increase students' understanding of the signs of hoaxes, how to verify information, and the negative impacts of spreading fake news. The results of this community service show a significant increase in vocational school students' social media awareness regarding hoax prevention. They become more critical in evaluating the information they encounter on social media and more responsible in sharing information. In addition, the students also understand how important media literacy is in a digital era full of unverified information. Thus, this project makes a valuable contribution in helping vocational school students become smarter and more responsible in using social media, so as to minimize the spread of social media. hoaxes and false information in society. With this increase in social media awareness, it is hoped that it can create a safer and more informative digital environment for the younger generation

Abstract

This study addresses the critical issue of mental health among elementary school students at Dasar School, a factor that significantly impedes their academic and social development within the Tallunglipu Congregation community. Faced with various psychological challenges, these children require specialized interventions. This research aims to develop a psychospiritual counseling model tailored to the unique needs and context of elementary school students to enhance their mental well-being. The primary objective is to document the psychological experiences and changes in children following their participation in a program that integrates mindfulness and spiritual practices. Utilizing a qualitative case study design, data was collected through direct observation of counseling activities, process documentation, and interviews with students, teachers, and other relevant individuals. Thematic analysis was employed to identify socio-emotional changes and assess the role of counseling in improving children's mental health. Findings indicate that psychospiritual counseling effectively promotes emotional regulation and a sense of calm among the students. Children demonstrated increased resilience, improved stress management, and a greater capacity for developing harmonious interpersonal relationships. Both students and teachers reported notable improvements, including enhanced patience and increased motivation for learning. Furthermore, students were better able to grasp the lessons and values embedded within spiritual teachings. While challenges such as variations in student concentration during sessions were observed, these were mitigated through intensive guidance. The results confirm that the psychospiritual counseling model is an effective intervention for improving the mental health of children within the Tallunglipu Congregation. This program serves as a viable, context-specific intervention rooted in religious and spiritual principles, and it can be integrated into the character development curriculum at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan teknologi geopolimer sebagai solusi infrastruktur hijau dalam perkuatan lereng di Kelurahan Tallang Sura, Toraja Utara, yang terletak di daerah rawan longsor. Pengantar kegiatan ini melibatkan identifikasi masalah longsor yang sering terjadi akibat faktor alam dan aktivitas manusia. Tujuan utama dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan stabilitas lereng serta kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya penggunaan material ramah lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan mencakup sosialisasi kepada masyarakat, pelatihan pembuatan material geopolimer, dan penerapan langsung di lokasi yang telah ditentukan. Keterlibatan masyarakat dalam setiap tahap menjadi kunci keberhasilan kegiatan ini, sehingga mereka dapat belajar dan berkontribusi secara aktif. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan geopolimer berhasil meningkatkan stabilitas lereng hingga 30% dan tidak terjadi longsor di area yang diperkuat. Selain itu, masyarakat menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran dan minat untuk menerapkan teknologi ramah lingkungan ini di area lain.Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa teknologi geopolimer tidak hanya efektif dalam mitigasi risiko longsor, tetapi juga berpotensi memberdayakan masyarakat dan mendorong praktik pembangunan yang berkelanjutan. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar kegiatan serupa dapat dilakukan di daerah lain yang menghadapi tantangan serupa, dengan dukungan dari pemerintah dan lembaga terkait.  Abstract. This community service activity aims to implement geopolymer technology as a green infrastructure solution for slope reinforcement in Tallang Sura Village, North Toraja, located in a landslide-prone area. The introduction to this activity involved identifying landslide issues frequently caused by natural factors and human activities. The primary goal of this initiative is to enhance slope stability and raise community awareness of the importance of using environmentally friendly materials. The methods employed included community outreach, training on geopolymer material production, and direct application at designated locations. Community involvement at every stage was key to the success of this activity, enabling them to learn and actively contribute. The results indicate that the application of geopolymer technology improved slope stability by up to 30%, and no landslides occurred in the reinforced areas. Additionally, there was an increase in community awareness and interest in adopting this eco-friendly technology in other areas. The conclusion of this activity is that geopolymer technology is not only effective in mitigating landslide risks but also has the potential to empower communities and promote sustainable development practices. Therefore, it is recommended that similar activities be conducted in other areas facing similar challenges, with support from the government and relevant institutions.
