Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: menghasilkan dan  mengetahui kefektifan penggunaan multimedia pembelajaran bahasa Arab untuk mahasiswa UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian dan pengembangan (RD) dengan subjek penelitian mahasiswa semester I prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. Untuk uji validitas multimedia dilakukan oleh 2 orang ahli materi dan 2 orang ahli media. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket untuk mengetahui kelayakan produk yang dikembangkan dan untuk mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan multimedia dilaksanakan pembelajaran menggunakan multimedia hasil pengembangan dan tes hasil belajar. Penelitian pengembangan ini menghasilkan multimedia pembelajaran bahasa Arab berbentuk CD pembelajaran dilengkapi manual book dengan materi “حياتنا اليومية” (kehidupan sehari-hari).  Kelayakan produk berdasarkan validasi  ahli materi dengan hasil “sangat baik” (4,45 dan 4,5), validasi ahli media dengan hasil “sangat baik” (4,34 dan 4,95) dan multimedia yang efektif berdasarkan hasil uji keefektifan penggunaan multimedia hasil pengembangan diperoleh rerata sebesar 64,5 saat pre-test dan diperoleh rata-rata 87,9 saat post-test sehingga diperoleh gain score 23,4 poin. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi tersebut maka multimedia pembelajaran bahasa Arab hasil pengembangan dalam penelitian ini layak dan efektif digunakan untuk pembelajaran. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan keefektifan metode role playing dibandingkan dengan metode ceramah dalam peningkatan: (a) keaktifan siswa dan (b) kerja sama siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Marioriawa.  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experimental dengan pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Marioriawa, Kabupaten Soppeng, Sulawesi Selatan. Sampel penelitian ini adalah dua kelas dari lima kelas, dipilih satu kelas kontrol menggunakan metode ceramah dan kelas eksperimen menggunakan metode role playing ditentukan dengan teknik simple random sampling dengan memilih secara acak. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah angket dengan skala Likert dan panduan observasi. Validitas instrumen yang digunakan adalah validitas isi dan validitas empiris. Pengujian realibilitas dengan menggunakan Cronbach’s Alpha. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis uji-t. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut. (1) Metode role playing lebih efektif terhadap peningkatan keaktifan siswa dibandingkan dengan metode ceramah. (2) Metode role playing lebih efektif terhadap peningkatan kerja sama siswa dibandingkan dengan metode ceramah. Role atau peran yaitu siswa dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, kelompok pertama sebagai pemain peran dan kelompok kedua sebagai pengamat. Playing atau bermain yaitu siswa memainkan peran dalam topik musyawarah dan gotong royong dalam menciptakan keamanan desa. Dengan metode role playing, siswa dapat aktif dan bekerja sama pada saat memainkan peran atau karakter.Kata kunci: metode role playing, keaktifan, kerja sama THE EFFECTIVENESS OF ROLE PLAYING METHOD IN INCREASING THE ACTIVENESS AND COOPERATION IN SOCIAL STUDIESAbstractThis study aims to reveal the effectiveness of the role playing method compared with the lecture method in creasing: (a) the activeness and b) the cooperation in social studies of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Marioriawa. This study was quasi-experimental with the pretest-posttest control group design. The population was all students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Marioriawa, Soppeng, South Sulawesi. The research sample was two out of five classes, one control class taught using the lecture method and one experimental class taught using the role playing method. The instrument used to collect data was a questionnaire with Likert scale and an observation. The validity of the instruments used content validity and empirical validity . Testing reliability by using Cronbach 's Alpha. The data analysis technique used was the t-test analysis technique.The results are as follows. (1) The role playing method is more effective in improving student activeness compared with the lecture method, (2) The role playing method is effective in improving cooperation compared with the lecture method. The role that the students were divided into two groups, the first group as a role player and the second group as observers. Playing that students play a role in the topic of discussion and mutual assistance in creating a security village. With this method of role playing, students can be active and work at the time played a role or character.Keywords: role playing method, activeness, cooperation

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan PPB di  SMP Pangudi Luhur Domenico Savio Semarang tahun pelajaran 2010/2011 dilihat dari: 1) konteks pelaksanaan PPB, 2) input program PPB, 3) proses pelaksanaan program pembelajaran PPB, dan 4) output program. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner, dokumentasi, wawancara dan observasi untuk data kualitatif. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: pertama, konteks pelaksanaan PPB menunjukkan hasil tinggi 62,8%. Pelaksa-naan PBB dari sisi konteks dapat dilaksanakan dengan baik. Kedua, input program menun-jukkan hasil tinggi, 85,2%. Pelaksanaan PBB dari sisi input dapat dilaksanakan dengan baik. Ketiga, proses pelaksanaan program menunjukkan hasil tinggi, 79,7% berarti pelaksanaan PBB dari sisi proses dilaksanakan dengan baik. Keempat, produk pelaksanaan program yaitu: (a) ujian/test formatif, (b) ujian/test semester, (c) ujian nasional dan (d) prestasi kegiatan ekstrakurikuler menunjukkan hasil tinggi,74,1%. Abstract

The expressive language skills of children with autism can be improved through teaching and learning. One of the factors supporting the success of teaching and learning process in improving the expressive language skills of children with autism is the selection of media which is in accordance with the characteristic of children with autism as target of learning. Children with autism are known to conceive information based on visual as their characteristic, so visual-based media will be more effectively in the learning process. This study uses the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model that aims to develop visual-based media that can accommodate the expressive language skills of children with autism. The media developed is in form book-shaped media that contains a combination of writing and image illustration. This study produces a decent picture book media based on material conformity with curriculum, grammar used, media display, and communication theory used.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak cerita pada anakTK kelompok B menggunakan media bulletin board di TK Negeri Pembina Yogyakarta. Jenispenelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas secara kolaborasi. Model penelitian yangdigunakan model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu anak kelompok B3 di TKNegeri Pembina Yogyakarta, sejumlah 25 anak. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tesberbicara (lisan), observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptifkuantitatif. Kemampuan menyimak dikatakan berhasil apabila 80% dari 25 jumlah anak telahmencapai indikator kemampuan menyimak pada kriteria baik dengan hasil nilai rata-rata mencapai≥ 8,50.Penggunaan media bulletin board dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak cerita pada anakkelompok B di TK Negeri Pembina Yogyakarta. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari rerata kemampuanmenyimak cerita pada siklus I meningkat sebesar 1,36 dari kondisi awal 6,88 meningkat menjadi8,24. Kemampuan menyimak cerita pada siklus II meningkat sebesar 2,30 dari kondisi awal 6,88meningkat menjadi 9,18.Kata kunci: kemampuan menyimak cerita, media bulletin board

Abstract

The objective of the study is to develop the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL)-based functional academic teaching materials for the teachers specialized in educating the students with different visual ability. The method that has been adopted within the conduct of the study is Research and Development (RD) with reference to the Borg amp; Gall Model by means of experiment limitation. The study itself has been conducted in the Yaketunis Special School Type A, which has been the school for the students with different visual ability in Yogyakarta. The results of the study, which cover the stages of needs analysis in the given special school, show that up to date there has not been any written systematic functional academic learning. In addition, the results of the study also show that the teachers still have been dealing with the efforts of teaching the functional academic because the curriculum has been the modification of the regular curriculum. Therefore, the teachers demand the functional academic teaching materials for the students with different visual ability. Based on the results of the expert judgment by the media expert, the material expert and the experiment with the teacher, the functional academic teaching materials have been declared good and fit for implementation in the school. Then, the aspects that have been assessed within the expert judgment are namely material/content, presentation, linguistic and graphic. Furthermore, the score by 3.65 from the media expert and the score 3.80 from the material expert imply that the product in the form of functional academic teaching materials have been very fit and good for implementation by the teachers specialized in teaching the students with different visual ability. In addition, the response within the experiment stage also show that the mean score has been 3.70; as a result, the product in the form of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL)-based functional academic teaching materials have good for implementation. In other words, it might be concluded that the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL)-based functional academic teaching materials have been feasible for implementation for the teachers specialized in educating the students with different visual ability in the terms of functional reading, writing and counting activities.

Abstract

Vocational skills in an inclusive society are needed in business trips within an organization. The Mitra Sejahtera Center for Disability Empowerment (PPDMS) is an organization of persons with disabilities that is productive in producing patchwork mat products in quite a large capacity. This research wants to reveal how assistive technology in their business can change their vocational skills before and after knowing technology. This study uses a qualitative approach with a unique case of doormat crafts at PPDMS in Gunungkidul Regency. The research subject is the organizational chart, including the chairman and members involved in the production of doormats. The results of this study indicate that their vocational skills underwent a significant transformation after assistive technology was introduced. Before they learn assistive technology, their skill is to weave mats with the help of conventional looms. Developing more modernly, the use of mechanization with non-machine looms accessible for persons with disabilities has changed weaving skills to weaving skills complemented by skills in spinning threads. Developing even more rapidly, engineering technology-based vocational skills create job specifications for persons with disabilities. The users of these semi-automatic machines must be skilled and understand the machine mechanization system. This research implies that with the existence of assistive technology, the transformation of vocational skills goes hand in hand with developments in technology and science.

Abstract

This research aimed at describing teachers' needs in developing distance learning material from the aspect of physical forms, teaching material delivery, and obstacles faced by teachers. Through a survey of 115 special education teachers in Yogyakarta, The data were obtained through an open questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive quantitative approach. The result shows that alternative teaching materials needed were in the form of printed, audio, and electronic modules. Modules contained daily life activities is aimed to increase the independence of the students. The scope that is needed is an understanding of the concept in the cognitive aspect. Teachers need modules that can be studied independently by students with special needs. The presentation of the material that is most needed is in the form of videos and animated images as aids to make it easier to understand the material. Module display is considered to have more varied and striking color combinations. The obstacles experienced by the teachers were due to the difficulty of identifying the various abilities of the students.

Abstract

ABSTRACTPusat Pemberdayaan Disabilitas Mitra Sejahtera (PPDMS) is a disability community in Nglipar District, Gunungkidul Regency which has a doormat craft business. A business that is being pioneered and known to the continent of Europe is the craft from rags. The obstacles that become problems for PPDMS are limited capital and raw materials; production process; product quality; limited human resource conditions; amenities; and marketing. To overcome these problems, the Program Pengembangan Produk Unggulan Daerah (PPPUD) has made an increase in the supply of raw materials with a dropping model; provide accessible mat ATBM machine assistance; increase the variants of the model which has better quality; strengthening entrepreneurship through a strategic business plan; business administration and management; rearrangement of workspace and displays; and marketing products offline and online as well as expanding market networks through domestic and foreign marketplaces. The PPPUD implementation method is multiyear for 3 years with main stages. These stages include: infrastructureization (year-1), business development (year-2), and independent & existing (year-3). The achievements that have been made are an increase in high entrepreneurial interest, an increase in production capacity, an increase in marketing reach, and an increase in turnover.Keywords: doormat crafts, people with disabilities, PPDMS, PPPUDABSTRAKPusat Pemberdayaan Disabilitas Mitra Sejahtera (PPDMS) merupakan komunitas disabilitas di Kecamatan Nglipar Kabupaten Gunungkidul yang memiliki usaha kerajinan keset. Usaha yang sedang dirintis dan dikenal hingga benua Eropa adalah kerajinan keset dari kain perca. Kendala yang menjadi permasalahan PPDMS adalah keterbatasan modal dan bahan baku; proses produksi; kualitas produk; kondisi SDM yang terbatas; fasilitas; serta pemasaran. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, Program Pengembangan Produk Unggulan Daerah (PPPUD)  ini mengadakan peningkatan pada penyediaan bahan baku dengan model dropping; memberikan bantuan mesin ATBM keset yang aksesibel; memperbanyak varian model yang mimiliki kualitas yang lebih baik; penguatan kewirausahaan melalui business plan yang strategis; pengadministrasian dan pengelolaan usaha; penataan ulang ruang kerja dan display; dan memasarkan produk secara offline dan online serta memperluas jaringan pasar melalui marketplace dalam dan luar negeri. Metode pelaksanaan PPPUD adalah multiyear selama 3 tahun dengan tahap-tahap utama. Tahap tersebut meliputi: infrastrukturisasi (tahun ke-1), pengembangan usaha (tahun-2), dan mandiri & eksis (tahun ke-3). Capaian yang telah dilakukan adalah peningkatan minat wirausaha yang tinggi, peningkatan kapasitas produksi, peningkatan jangkauan pemasaran, dan peningkatan omset.Kata Kunci: kerajinan keset, penyandang disabilitas, PPDMS, PPPUD
