Abstract

This research was conducted because, in the Islamic Cultural History lessons, the teacher explained the material in a monotonous manner, using the lecture and assignment methods. These methods, which are considered monotonous, affected students and resulted in a lack of active participation during the learning process. Consequently, the material delivered did not leave a lasting impression that could influence students' interest and learning outcomes. Given this problem, the researcher attempted to improve the learning process of Islamic Cultural History by applying the "Everyone Is A Teacher Here" learning method. The type of research conducted was quantitative, with the specific type being a Quasi-Experimental design, using The Static Group Comparison Design. The research subjects were fifth-grade students, with the sample selected through simple random sampling. The results of the research indicated that the "Everyone Is A Teacher Here" method was effective in increasing students' interest in learning Islamic Cultural History. This was evident from the hypothesis test results, which showed that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, with a two-tailed t-test significance value of less than 0.05, specifically 0.000. Therefore, it can be concluded that the "Everyone Is A Teacher Here" method is effective in enhancing the interest of fifth-grade students at Al-Zaytun Islamic Elementary School in learning Islamic Cultural History in 2023. Abstract

Moral education in Islam plays a crucial role in shaping the character and culture of society. In the context of globalization, the development of moral values through positive habits becomes a priority to create a generation with strong character. This study examines the strategies employed by teachers to revitalize moral education values in addressing bullying at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma’had Al-Zaytun. A qualitative approach with a field research method was used. The research data includes both primary and secondary sources, collected through observation, interviews, and documentation with a population of teachers and 209 fifth-grade students. The validity of the data was tested using triangulation techniques. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, data verification, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that effective strategies include prioritizing moral education, active teacher involvement in addressing bullying, supervision and guidance, collaboration with school management, integrative teaching methods, as well as strict reporting and control systems. The moral values implemented encompass the development of independent character, behavior control, the teaching of moral values, and handling of special cases. The implementation of these values has proven successful in creating a safe and conducive learning environment, as well as fostering students with noble character. This study emphasizes the importance of a holistic and collaborative approach to moral education in combating bullying and shaping a generation with strong character. Full support from all school elements, including teachers and management, is essential in creating an environment that effectively nurtures moral development and student character formation. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of students' abilities in science learning after the application of three-dimensional diorama media. The research method used is quantitative method with quasi-experimental design. The population in this study was all MI class IV students and the sample used was grade 4-B05 students. Three-dimensional diorama media is an independent variable, while the effectiveness of science learning is a dependent variable. The instrument used is a test in the form of multiple-choice questions. The data obtained were analyzed using inferential statistics using t-test poolled variants. The results of this study show that three-dimensional diorama media fails to reject effectiveness in science learning. This can be seen from the average pretest and posttest results of the class. That is the average postest of 86.46 > the average pretest of 35.03 with an increase in posttest of 51.41. This is reinforced by the results of the hypothesis test using the –t test (t-test). Based on the results of the t-test calculation data, it was obtained that T_hitung = 13.4 and T_tabel = 1.724 So that T_hitung> T_tabel then H0 rejected and Ha failed to refuse. And the average N gain score of the experimental class (using three-dimensional diorama media) is 80.10% included in the effective category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of three-dimensional card diorama media is effective in learning science grades 4-B05 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun. Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the implementation of character education focused on tolerance for fifth-grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma’had Al-Zaytun. The method used is descriptive qualitative, employing observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The results of the research show that the implementation of tolerance character education is carried out through learning activities, interactions between students, and extracurricular programs that support tolerance values. These findings emphasize the importance of an inclusive and collaborative school environment in shaping students' character. It is hoped that the results of this study can serve as a reference for other educational institutions in implementing character education aligned with tolerance values in daily life. From the research conducted, it can be understood that tolerance character is not only taught theoretically in schools but is also truly practiced in daily life, both at school, in dormitories, and in public places. Abstract

This research examines the Implementation of Flashcard Media in Improving Reading Skills of Class II Students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun Indramayu. This study focuses on the problem of students who are still not fluent in recognizing letters, reading words, and simple sentences. Furthermore, this study aims to determine how the Implementation of Flashcard Media in Improving Reading Skills of Class II Students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun Indramayu. This study uses a mix method with an explanatory sequential research design model. The implementation is carried out sequentially, starting with quantitative and continuing with qualitative. The type of research used is a pre-experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest approach, where researchers only use one class that is given treatment and will undergo two tests, namely the initial test (pretest) and the final test (posttest). The results of the study showed that there was an increase in the reading ability of class II students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun which can be proven by the average pretest score of 88.56 and the average posttest score reaching 96.06. The above indicates an increase in class II students of MI Ma'had Al-Zaytun. In the T-test, the Sig. value was obtained at 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The t-test uses tcount> ttable, which is 5.671> 2.034, which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This explains that there is a significant difference between the average reading test scores of students before and after the implementation of flashcard learning media. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of peer interaction in the school environment on the formation of friendly character of 6th grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun. This research uses quantitative methods with descriptive analysis type of research. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 6th grade students of MI Ma'had Al-Zaytun in the 2024/2025 academic year which is the population of this study. Determination of the sample in this study was carried out using purposive sampling technique which obtained a sample size of 67 students from a total population of 204 students. The results of this study indicate that interaction with peers in the school environment has a positive and significant effect on the formation of students' friendly character. This is evidenced by the tcount value which is greater than the ttable, namely 5.476 > 1.997 with a coefficient of determination of 0.316, which means that 31.6% of peer interaction variables affect the formation of friendly character. Abstract

The background of this research relates to the perceptions and interests of students in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Program at the Al-Zaytun Islamic Institute of Indonesia towards the teaching profession. Students' perceptions of this profession include views on the role of teachers as dedicated mentors and unsung heroes who provide education and shape the character of young generations. The students' interest in becoming teachers arises from several motivations, both intrinsic and extrinsic, such as a desire to contribute to the field of education and support from their environment. The research findings indicate that positive perceptions and strong interest correlate with students' aspirations to pursue a career in teaching, with family background, learning experiences, and teaching practice as influencing factors. This research aims to analyze the perceptions and interests of students in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education (PGMI) Study Program at the Al-Zaytun Islamic Institute of Indonesia towards the teaching profession. The research uses a qualitative approach, with a Random Sampling method, and employs observation, interviews, and documentation to collect data from PGMI students. The data collection technique involves using data triangulation to ensure the validity of the data used by the researcher. The research findings indicate that students' perceptions of the teaching profession are influenced by internal factors such as personal interest and encouragement from family, as well as external factors like perceptions of the welfare and challenges of the teaching profession. Most students have a high interest in becoming teachers due to idealism and a desire to contribute to education, although some also consider the challenges of this profession. The findings of this research are expected to assist educational institutions in improving the quality of teacher education and motivating students to pursue careers as educators. Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned effort to achieve predetermined goals, including in the context of teaching Islamic Cultural History (Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam - SKI). In the teaching process, teachers need to implement various effective strategies to ensure that learning objectives are achieved successfully. The approaches used by educators should facilitate students in understanding the material in an easy, effective, and clear manner. Thus, the material delivered becomes not only information but also something that students can utilize in their daily lives. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the quiz method in improving the quality of learning and how the quiz method can optimize the quality of teaching Islamic Cultural History (SKI) for fourth-grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma’had Al-Zaytun. The study employs a qualitative approach, emphasizing an in-depth understanding of the application of the quiz method in the context of teaching SKI to fourth-grade students at the Madrasah. The sample selection was conducted using random sampling techniques, and data were collected through interviews with teachers and students, direct observations during the learning process, and relevant school documentation. The findings of the study indicate that the implementation of the quiz method significantly improves the quality of learning. This is evident from the increased interest, motivation, and engagement of students in learning activities. Students no longer remain passive listeners but actively participate in the learning process through discussions, question-and-answer sessions, and collaborations.Additionally, the quiz method enhances students' collaboration and teamwork skills, as well as significantly improves their understanding and retention of the material taught by the teacher. Through the implementation of this quiz method, the learning process becomes more interactive and enjoyable, thereby achieving educational goals more optimally. Abstract

Peran adalah pelaksanaan hak dan kewajiban sesuai posisi seseorang. Guru berperan sebagai pendidik yang membantu memahami, mengajarkan, dan menyampaikan pengetahuan atau keterampilan. Bullying merupakan tindakan intimidasi fisik, verbal, atau emosional oleh individu atau kelompok yang merasa lebih kuat. Di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma’had Al-Zaytun, guru memiliki lima peran utama dalam mencegah bullying di kalangan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi bentuk bullying dan peran guru dalam mencegahnya di kelas. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun sumber data penelitian berupa data primer dan data sekunder. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan populasi guru dan 177 siswa kelas V. Keabsahan data diuji dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Data dianalisis dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, Verifikasi data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini bahwa bullying fisik, sosial, dan cyberbullying tidak terjadi, namun bullying verbal masih ada, seperti mengejek nama orang tua atau memberikan julukan tidak pantas. Guru berperan sebagai pendidik, fasilitator, demonstrator, penasehat, dan pembimbing dalam mencegah bullying. Meski peran tersebut sudah baik, disarankan adanya ruang khusus dan poster tentang akhlak, adab berteman, dan cara bergaul yang baik yang dipasang di kelas, majalah dinding (mading), atau area sekolah lainnya.
