Abstract

 AbstractCibiru Wetan has a wealth of potential in SMEs with high-quality products, but a lack of understanding in product photography and digital marketing hinders its growth. Especially in today's digital era, with increasing online competition, strengthening branding and digital marketing is key to enhancing the visibility and sales of SME products. The crucial role of digital branding in supporting online marketing strategies is increasingly evident. The purpose of this service is to empower SMEs in Cibiru Wetan with effective photography skills and digital marketing strategies. This service employs the Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) method, or Learning by Doing, which involves participants more actively compared to conventional training. The implementation of activities is divided into several stages: education and socialization, pre-training, practice, mentoring, and evaluation. The outcome of this service is that the product photography training in Cibiru Wetan successfully improved the SMEs' ability to utilize social media for marketing. Evaluations showed a significant positive impact on participants' understanding and skills in producing attractive and professional product photos. The visual quality of product photos improved, aiding in the product's appeal on social media. Post-training monitoring indicated an increase in the frequency and quality of content, as well as more active interactions with the audience. This service can serve as a reference for similar programs in other areas and encourage policies that better support the development of SMEs through the enhancement of digital skills. Keywords: Branding; digital marketing; product photography.   AbstrakCibiru Wetan memiliki banyak potensi UMKM dengan produk berkualitas tinggi, tetapi kurangnya pemahaman tentang fotografi produk dan pemasaran digital menghambat pertumbuhannya. Terutama di era digital saat ini, dengan persaingan online yang semakin ketat, memperkuat branding dan pemasaran digital menjadi kunci untuk meningkatkan visibilitas dan penjualan produk UMKM. Peran penting digital branding dalam mendukung strategi pemasaran daring semakin meningkat. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberdayakan pelaku UMKM di Cibiru Wetan dengan keterampilan fotografi dan strategi pemasaran digital yang efektif.Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) atau Learning by Doing, yang melibatkan peserta lebih aktif dibandingkan pelatihan konvensional. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dibagi menjadi beberapa tahapan yaitu edukasi dan sosialisasi, pra pelatihan, praktik, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah pelatihan fotografi produk di Cibiru Wetan berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan pelaku UMKM dalam memanfaatkan media sosial untuk pemasaran. Evaluasi menunjukkan dampak positif signifikan pada pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam menghasilkan foto produk yang menarik dan profesional. Kualitas visual foto produk meningkat, membantu daya tarik produk di media sosial. Pemantauan pasca pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan frekuensi dan kualitas konten serta interaksi lebih aktif dengan audiens. Pengabdian ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi program-program serupa di daerah lain, serta mendorong kebijakan yang lebih mendukung pengembangan UMKM melalui peningkatan keterampilan digital.Kata-kata kunci: Branding; fotografi produk; pemasaran digital.

Abstract

Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak peningkatan visibilitas merek dan akses pasar bagi usaha mikro kecil menengah (UMKM) pemula, penggunaan yang tepat dan efektif dari platform-platform ini memerlukan pemahaman yang baik tentang branding dan strategi pemasaran digital. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan adalah ceramah, diskusi, dan penugasan membentuk strategi implementasi. Ceramah digunakan untuk menyampaikan materi yang akan diberikan; diskusi untuk menjawab pertanyaan yang tersisa tentang materi; dan penugasan dilakukan dengan menunjukkan kepada peserta contoh cara membuat strategi digital branding. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah memberikan wawasan mendalam tentang bagaimana pelatihan Digital Branding dapat berperan dalam meningkatkan daya saing UMKM pemula, serta memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman tentang pentingnya literasi digital dalam lingkungan bisnis saat ini.

Abstract

Abstract This research was motivated by the anxiety of Cibaduyut MSMEs in carrying out digital public relations and marketing strategies that are suitable for their business development. This study aims to explore the integration between digital Public Relations and marketing strategies implemented by Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in the Cibaduyut Shoe sector, Bandung City. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach to explore a deep understanding of how MSMEs integrate digital PR and their marketing strategies in facing challenges and seizing opportunities in the digital environment. Data was collected through literature studies and interviews with Cibaduyu Shoe MSME actors and Cibaduyut Shoe MSME managers. Data analysis is carried out with an inductive approach, where the collected qualitative data is analyzed thematically. Researchers can identify patterns, trends, and relationships between various elements related to the integration of digital PR and marketing strategies in Cibaduyut shoe MSMEs. The result of this study is that MSMEs that integrate digital PR in marketing strategies have a competitive advantage in the digital market by strengthening brand image, increasing online visibility, and expanding their market reach. MSMEs understand the characteristics of digital audiences to develop effective marketing strategies. It is necessary to develop MSME skills and knowledge in managing digital PR and holistic marketing strategies, including an understanding of digital platforms, creativity in content, and continuous analysis of campaign performance to take advantage of opportunities in the digital era. This reinforces the call for governments and relevant institutions to support MSMEs with relevant training programs. Keyword: Digital PR, marketing strategies, MSMEs. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keresahan UMKM Cibaduyut dalam melakukan strategi digital public relations dan pemasaran yang cocok untuk perkembangan usaha mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi integrasi antara Public Relations (PR) digital dan strategi pemasaran yang diterapkan oleh Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di sektor Sepatu Cibaduyut, Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk menggali pemahaman mendalam tentang bagaimana UMKM mengintegrasikan PR digital dan strategi pemasaran mereka dalam menghadapi tantangan dan memanfaatkan peluang dalam lingkungan digital. Data dikumpulkan melalui studi literatur dan wawancara dengan pelaku UMKM Sepatu Cibaduyu dan pengelola UMKM Sepatu Cibaduyut. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pendekatan induktif, di mana data kualitatif yang terkumpul dianalisis secara tematis. Peneliti dapat mengidentifikasi pola-pola, tren, dan hubungan antara berbagai elemen yang terkait dengan integrasi PR digital dan strategi pemasaran pada UMKM sepatu Cibaduyut. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah UMKM Sepatu Cibaduyut yang mengintegrasikan PR digital dalam strategi pemasaran memiliki keunggulan kompetitif di pasar digital dengan memperkuat citra merek, meningkatkan visibilitas online, dan memperluas jangkauan pasar mereka. UMKM memahami karakteristik audiens digital untuk mengembangkan strategi pemasaran yang efektif. Diperlukan pengembangan keterampilan dan pengetahuan UMKM dalam mengelola PR digital dan strategi pemasaran holistik, termasuk pemahaman tentang platform digital, kreativitas dalam konten, dan analisis kinerja kampanye secara terus-menerus untuk memanfaatkan peluang di era digital. Hal ini memperkuat panggilan bagi pemerintah dan lembaga terkait untuk mendukung UMKM dengan program pelatihan yang relevan. Kata-kata kunci: PR Digital, strategi pemasaran, UMKM.

Abstract

Indonesian people are increasingly aware of the importance of English language skills. Not only in communicating academically but also in communication that occurs daily as a result of the increasing flow of information through various media. For people who have access to a place to learn and practice English skills, of course, they will be able to master their skills more effectively. But not with school students who have to study online where not all students have sufficient facilities and access to learn and practice English. For less fortunate students, such as residents of orphanages, mentoring and training activities, both academic and non-academic, they need. So this Community Service activity was carried out. English language training for orphans and poor people was held at the Mutiara Bani Sholihin Orphanage. This activity uses the Quantum teaching method where this method fosters an atmosphere of togetherness, comfort and calmness in learning. Then at the end of this activity session, an evaluation of the material that has been implemented is carried out to measure learning achievement.

Abstract

The impact of the global crisis is starting to be seen at the national level due to the rapid spread of Covid-19. The COVID-19 epidemic has had a profound impact on the business sector, including micro, small and medium enterprises. Many business actors have laid off their employees and even temporarily closed their business activities. Given the circumstances and events mentioned above, it is very important for new business actors to continue to maintain consumer loyalty, with Brands playing the most significant role. The problem with today's entrepreneurs is that they continue to lack a fundamental understanding of brands. Beginning entrepreneurs are aware that brands are nothing more than logos and packaging. Another problem is that inexperienced business people do not know how to take advantage of the current digital era to activate brands in the minds of consumers. Start-up business players should exercise adequate branding to protect their trademarks from infringement and imitation by other commercial entities.

Abstract

An essential strategic effort to improve community welfare and the productivity of the fishing industry is to optimize the development of fish farmer businesses in Ciparay, Bandung Regency, West Java, which has a lot of potential for cultivating freshwater fish. Fish farmers in this area, however, still face several problems. These include lack of access to advanced technology, knowledge about managing a business, and market limitations. This research aims to find and create the most effective strategy for building a fish farming business in Ciparay. This research uses SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) and Business Model Canvas to find internal and external elements influencing the fish farming business. Apart from field observations and in-depth interviews with fish farmers, data was collected through relevant literature studies. The results of the analysis show that traditional knowledge and extensive experience in fish cultivation are the main strengths of Ciparay fish farmers. In contrast, the main weakness is the difficulty of obtaining technology and capital. The ever-increasing market demand for fresh fish and government support through various aid programs are opportunities that can be exploited. However, there are threats such as climate change and competition with fish products from other countries. The results show that there are several methods that Ciparay fish farmers can use to maximize their business growth. First, increasing product diversification and innovation in fish processing can open up new market opportunities and increase product-added value. Second, increasing access to modern technology through training and technical assistance can help improve product quality and productivity. Third, forming farmer groups or cooperatives can strengthen farmers' bargaining positions and facilitate their access to capital and wider markets. Farmers can gain greater access to markets and capital by implementing stratification strategies

Abstract

Media sosial saat ini sangat efektif untuk menyebarkan informasi karena cakupannya yang luas. Hal ini mendorong Parapuan menggunakan media sosial dalam membangun brand awareness sebagai media online perempuan yang baru. Tujuan penelitian dilakukan untuk menggambarkan pengelolaan media sosial Instagram @cerita_parapuan oleh Parapuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan konsep The Circular Model of SOME yang merupakan sebuah proses komunikasi dalam menyusun taktik pengelolaan media sosial. Model ini terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu; share, optimize, manage, engage. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi pustaka. Validasi data melalui teknik triangulasi sumber data. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Tahap Share, Parapuan menggunakan Instagram karena paling efektif dan cocok dengan target audiens, serta dalam membangun kepercayaan publik berusaha membentuk lingkungan selayaknya sahabat; (2) Tahap Optimize, pencarian trending dilakukan secara manual ke berbagai platform. Parapuan melibatkan diri dalam percakapan dengan mengangkat berita trending menjadi konten; (3) Tahap Manage, media monitoring dilakukan secara manual dan menggunakan tools Keyhole, namun upaya merespon cepat dan berinteraksi secara real-time masih belum optimal; (4) Tahap Engage, Parapuan memanfaatkan professional dan melibatkannya pada kegiatan Instagram Live. Upaya ini belum maksimal karena interaksi audiens masih belum terpenuhi dan salah satu faktornya mengacu pada narasumber yang dilibatkan. Target audiens sudah ditentukan dari manajemen, dan upaya meraih audiens dengan mengadakan giveaway serta mengunggah konten sesuai jam prime time.

Abstract

Training as well as digital marketing guidance has been held for the disability community VirageAwie in Cimareme Village, Ngamprah District, West Bandung Regency. This activity aims to increase knowledge and skills in digital marketing, especially for disability community members. The program starts with FGD to identify problems, then to be continued with VirageAwie.com website creation and training themed Digital Marketing Introducing Business Through Social Media Content. Training covers discussion about marketing through social media, methods photography, videography, and product promotion. Findings show the existence of significant improvement in participants' understanding about digital marketing as well as their ability to use digital platforms to enlarge market reach. A good influence was seen in the increased ability and independent financial sustainability of the participants. This initiative needs more cooperation continued with communities, academics, and government to strengthen network marketing as well as quality power work, so that VirageAwie products can compete in the local to global market.

Abstract

Pada penelitian efektivitas Word of Mouth (WOM) sebagai strategi branding ini adalah untuk mengetahui sebesar besar dampak dari WOM sebagai strategi branding. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kajian literatur dan sampelyang digunakan adalah efek dari WOM dalam perilaku membeli konsumen, Membentuk WOM sebagai strategi marketing dalam klub Kesehatan independent, Efek kredibilitas merk kepada WOM melalui kepuasan pelangan dan kesetian pelanggan di hypermart Cyberpark Karawaci, dan dampak WOM dalam keputusan membeli di Yordania. Sampel ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif, kualitatif dan metode campuran. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah WOM berdampak signifikan dalam mempengaruhi seseorang untuk membeli barang. WOM sendiri tidak terbatas pada umur dan jenis kelamis sehingga WOM sangat efektif sebagai strategi branding murah. Melalui penelitian ini, WOM menjadi strategi branding yang di rekomendasikan mengingat biaya yang sangat murah dan memberikan dampak yang pesat. Namun, dalam menggunakan WOM perlu adanya kehati-hatian. Jika konsumen telah memberikan ulasan buruk, maka WOM menjadi strategi branding yang perlu dihindari sebab konsumen lebih mempertimbangkan ulasan buruk di bandingkan ulasan bagus.
