Abstract

This study evaluates the use of Bagasse Ash (BA) and Rice Husk Ash (RHA) as partial cement replacements in standard concrete. The experiment used cylindrical specimens with diameters of 10 cm and 15 cm, with cement replaced by BA and RHA at 0% (control), 2.5%+2.5%, 5%+5%, and 7.5%+7.5%. Tests on material properties and concrete performance—including slump, unit weight, compressive strength, and splitting tensile strength—were conducted in accordance with Indonesian National Standards (SNI). The results show that increasing BA and RHA content reduces slump values, from 90 mm in the control mixture to 75 mm at the highest substitution level, but all mixtures remained within the acceptable workability range of 75–100 mm and met the criteria for normal-weight concrete. The highest 28-day compressive strength, 32.900 MPa, was achieved with the 2.5% BA + 2.5% RHA mixture, slightly exceeding that of the control concrete. The greatest splitting tensile strength, 2.924 MPa, occurred at the 5% BA + 5% RHA level. Overall, the findings indicate that moderate substitution using BA and RHA can maintain satisfactory mechanical performance while offering a more sustainable alternative to conventional cement.

Abstract

Polymer mortar is an alternative material developed by utilising epoxy resin as a binder and stone dust as a fine aggregate. This study aims to analyse the effect of epoxy resin variation on the compressive strength of stone dust-based polymer mortar. The epoxy resin variations used in this study were 10%, 15%, and 20% of the material weight. Compressive strength testing was conducted at ages of 1, 2, 7, 14, and 21 days. The results showed that an increase in the percentage of epoxy resin significantly improved the mechanical properties of polymer mortar. At a variation of 10%, a compressive strength of 9.03 MPa was obtained at 21 days. Meanwhile, a variation of 20% resulted in a compressive strength of 17.71 MPa. This study indicates that an increase in the epoxy mixture content and a longer testing age affect the increase in the compressive strength of stone dust-based polymer mortar. These results also support the application of sustainable construction principles through the use of alternative materials.

Abstract

Creativity is the potential of every individual that can be studied, processed, explored and developed for the better, not an innate talent and trait born in a person. In the implementation of learning, Creativity has an essential role in creating more active, fun, exciting learning and facilitates learning. Teacher creativity is the ability to find thoughts about ideas and ideas in solving a problem related to educational science. Creative teachers will continue to develop exciting learning to improve quality, improve materials, use methods, use media and manage classrooms. Especially during the current COVID-19 pandemic, a teacher is required to create exciting and fun learning. The Covid-19 pandemic that has occurred throughout the world, including Indonesia, involves implementing distance learning as instructed by the Ministry of Education and Culture to continue learning during this COVID-19 outbreak. Therefore, teachers at all levels of education must make new learning plans related to distance learning. Likewise, the teaching carried out at SMP Negeri 4 Subah, an area in the red zone of the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak, requires learning to be carried out online. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 4 Subah with a qualitative approach or descriptive field research. The results show that teachers at SMP Negeri 4 Subah are ready to carry out online learning by utilizing media or applications that can support online learning to keep it exciting and fun, including using WhatsApp, Google Classroom, Google Form, Zoom Meeting, Email and other applications on when delivering subject matter, giving assignments and carrying out tests.

Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to describe a policy process that exists in the education system. Indonesia's national education system has determined that all forms of educational processes that exist in Indonesia must be implemented and developed to the fullest. In the education system there should be a decision, so that the policy process is expected to be right on target. In the education system, it is also necessary to have an agenda setting, this is done to attract the government's attention to the existing competition. In this case, a theoretical framework is needed so that policy formulation has direction and goals so that the policy formulation of an educational institution has legitimacy. Policy formulation is also inseparable from actors and policy formulation approaches.

Abstract

Singkawang Quran Center (SQC) serves and prepares human resources who have high competence in the field of the Qur'an, have noble character and have broad knowledge. The Singkawang Quran Center (SQC) is here for Muslims in Singkawang and its surroundings to improve the quality of their ability to read the Quran and memorize it and practice its teachings. Teaching the Qur'an properly and correctly according to the sanad is very necessary so that in pronunciation and daily practice there are no confusions that go down and down because it comes from a teacher whose ability to read the Qur'an is clear. Learning the Qur'an and teaching it is a noble job and is the best human being. In this case the programs that have been implemented include adult male and female tahsin, intensive tahfiz for children and adolescents, the Toddler Tahfiz Program (PROTABA) from 3 to 7 years of age. Al-Quran education at the Singkawang Quran Center (SQC) has experienced a significant development with the opening of a prayer stall around the Singkawang city bird park which is held every Sunday from six to eight in the morning. The participants consist of children, teenagers and parents for free This is done so that the people of Singkawang city really feel the presence of SQC full of wisdom and can share knowledge of the Koran with the people of Singkawang city and its surroundings. In the next two years, thank God the Singkawang Quran Center has developed Al Quran Education to a higher elementary school level. dominant in teaching the Koran to children. Singkawang Quran Center (SQC) has continued to develop, this is evidenced by the existence of Protaba (Tahfidz Toddler Program) which is dominant in teaching Al-Quran reading and memorization. In addition to the Protaba, there is an intensive tahfidz opening, which on average is a high school graduate and stays at Tahfidz's house with free fees. It has been more than two years since SDIT Ibnu Masud has been established at the Singkawang Quran Center (SQC) whose curriculum is more dominant in reading and writing the Koran and memorizing the Koran. The steps in memorizing the Qur'an as implemented at the Singkawang Qur'an Center (SQC) are sincerity, talaqqi and musyafahah, targeting memorization, choosing the time and place, determining the beginning of memorization, understanding, using one manuscript, diligently listening, and continuing to maintain ro.

Abstract

Being an agent of change will only occur if within the individual there is the potential to change oneself, in order to make growth and development in him better and more perfect. Likewise, for every teacher who wants to be an agent of change at school, what he must have is the potential to change himself, so that with his potential he is expected to be able to change other people (students). In school institutions, teachers are leaders and actors of educational change, without the involvement of teachers in every effort to renew the world of education will fail. Teachers are at the forefront and agents of change in the world of education.

Abstract

Prayer is a form and obligation from Allah SWT to Muslims. By performing prayer, a person can feel closer to Allah SWT directly. Prayer itself must be done with a call from a heart full of devotion, fear and humiliation before Allah, without boundaries of time and space. Praying five times a day is considered an effective form of exercise. The goal is for the overall prayer movement to be calm and repetitive, involving all aspects. These prayer movements relax the joint muscles, maintain the body's energy balance, relax the joint muscles, and improve blood circulation throughout the body, especially to the brain because the brain is at the top, so the heart needs to work harder to send blood to the lower parts. over the brain.
