Abstract

This international Community Service activity was held at Lukmanulhakeem School, Yala, Thailand, with the aim of introducing the importance of understanding Indonesian linguistics and culture to teachers and students to strengthen cross-cultural understanding from an early age. The background of this program is based on the need for an understanding of cultural diversity from an early age as an effort to build tolerance and solidarity in the educational environment. The methods used are interactive training, cross-cultural discussions, and field visits. The material provided includes an introduction to the basic vocabulary of Indonesian language and culture, such as greetings and traditional foods and gotong royong traditions. The results of the activity showed that as many as 35 teachers succeeded in improving their understanding of the linguistic concepts of Indonesian culture. In conclusion, this program has succeeded in creating harmonious cross-cultural relationships and has a positive impact on improving the quality of education at Lukmanulhakeem School. For the continuation of this program, further assistance and the provision of technology-based learning media are needed to support the sustainability of implementation in partner schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya penanaman nilai-nilai karakter berbasis kearifan lokal dalam pembentukan kepribadian anak usia dini. Nilai-nilai Po5 yang terdiri dari Po Mamasiaka (saling mengasihi), Po Piapiara (saling menjaga), Po Maemaeaka (saling menghormati), Po Angka-angkataka (saling mendukung), dan Po Bincibinciki Kuli (Toleransi) telah diterapkan secara konsisten di TK Negeri Po5, khususnya pada kelompok B2. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk implementasi nilai-nilai Po5 dalam proses pembelajaran anak usia dini. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang dilaksanakan di TK Negeri Po5, Kota Baubau, Sulawesi Tenggara. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai Po5 telah terintegrasi secara efektif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran melalui metode pembiasaan dan keteladanan guru. Anak-anak menunjukkan sikap empati, kerjasama, sopan santun, tanggung jawab, dan toleransi dalam aktivitas harian mereka di sekolah. Namun, keterbatasan penelitian ini adalah fokus yang hanya pada satu kelompok (B2), sehingga generalisasi hasil ke kelompok lain atau ke sekolah lain masih memerlukan penelitian lanjutan. Selain itu, keterlibatan orang tua dan pengaruh lingkungan luar belum menjadi fokus utama dalam kajian ini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang melibatkan anak-anak PAUD di TK Pertiwi Jaya Desa Lapandewa Jaya yang Berjumlah 19 orang dengan usia 5-6 tahun. Data di kumpul melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data di analisis secara kualitatif menggunakan lembar observasi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: 1. Penerapan permainan tradisional kaoda-oda pada usia 5-6 tahun di TK Pertiwi Jaya Desa Lapandewa Jaya dapat di terapkan dengan baik. Hal ini di lihat pada saat peneliti melakukan penelitian dengan teknik Observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi terlihat bahwa guru dan peneliti berhasil menerapkan permainan tradisional kaoda-oda dengan baik dan anak terlihat antusias ketika memainkan permainannya. 2. Pelaksanaan dalam meningkatkan motorik kasar anak melalui permainan tradisional kaoda-oda pada usia 5-6 tahun di TK Pertiwi Jaya Desa Lapandewa Jaya yaitu: di lihat dari perkembangan motorik kasarnya salah satunya keseimbangan badannya dan kekuatan otot kakinya yang semakin berkembang, permainan tradisional kaoda-oda ini dapat melatih keseimbangan badan pada saat berdiri di permainannya.

Abstract

Indonesia sebagai negara maritim memiliki potensi kelautan yang sangat besar, namun rendahnya literasi kemaritiman sejak dini menjadi tantangan yang perlu diatasi. Kurangnya pemahaman guru PAUD terhadap nilai-nilai kemaritiman menyebabkan minimnya integrasi konsep maritim dalam pembelajaran. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi-sosialisasi kepada guru PAUD tentang pendidikan kemaritiman, serta meningkatkan kapasitas mereka dalam mengajarkan nilai-nilai tersebut secara kontekstual dan menyenangkan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di PAUD Anak Sholeh, Kecamatan Pasarwajo, melalui metode sosialisasi, diskusi, dan simulasi pembelajaran. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan kesiapan guru PAUD dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai kemaritiman ke dalam proses pembelajaran. Mahasiswa yang terlibat memperoleh pengalaman nyata dalam menerapkan ilmu dalam menyelesaikan masalah sosial. Kesimpulannya, dapat memberikan dampak positif dalam memperkuat peran guru PAUD sebagai agen pendidikan maritim dan mendorong penguatan karakter anak sejak dini melalui pendekatan yang sesuai dengan konteks lokal. Kegiatan ini menjadi model kolaboratif antara perguruan tinggi dan masyarakat dalam membangun kesadaran maritim generasi muda.

Abstract

Penelitian  ini  bertujuan untuk stimulasi  perkembangan  kognitif anak melalui media smart box usia 4-5 tahun. Latarbelakang penelitian ini adalah media yang digunakan guru dalam mengajar terkesen kurang menarik sehingga anak mengalami kesulitan dalam mengenal konsep bilangan, membilang banyak benda dan mengenal geometri, oleh karena itu media ini sangat membantu mengantisipasi hal demikian. Adapun Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif partisipatori yang mempelajari permasalahan yang ada serta ikut berpatisipasi atau berperan serta dalam kegiatan pembelajaran anak usia dini. informan dalam penelitian  ini  adalah 10 anak kelompok A di TK  Ceria  Lombe. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, display data dan verifikasi data. Adapun Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan media Smart Box untuk menstimulasi perkembangan kognitif anak. Ada 5 kegitan yang dilakukan yaitu meronce berpola, puzzle, pengenalan pola AB-AB serta ABC-ABC, membilang lambang bilangan serta mengklasifikasi bentuk geometri. Dari lima kegiatan dapat diperoleh hasil yaitu 2 orang anak MB (mulai Berkembang), 5 anak yang BSH (berkembang sesuai harapan) dan 3 anak BSB anak (berkembang sangat baik) anak Kegiatan ini memiliki manfaat bagi anak diantaranya dapat menstimulasi perkembangan kognitif simbolik, menstimulasi perkembangan kognitif berfikir logis dan menstimulasi perkembangan kognitif pemecahan masalah bagi anak.

Abstract

A positive and adaptive learning environment plays a crucial role in enhancing the intrinsic motivation of elementary school students. As the primary managers of the classroom, teachers hold a strategic position in creating learning conditions that support students’ emotional, social, and academic needs. This study aims to examine teacher management in fostering a learning environment that promotes students’ intrinsic motivation through five key aspects: structured lesson planning, the creation of a positive classroom atmosphere, the provision of exploratory freedom, the empowerment of student roles, and the adjustment to individual needs. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method through semi-structured interviews with five elementary school teachers from various grade levels. The findings indicate that teachers have implemented student-centered learning approaches through flexible and responsive strategies. Teachers design lesson plans based on students’ needs, create a safe and enjoyable classroom climate, and provide space for students to express themselves and take active roles. Challenges faced include limited time, large class sizes, and diverse student characteristics. Nevertheless, teachers strive to establish a supportive learning environment that motivates students to engage in independent and meaningful learning. This study highlights the importance of adaptive teacher management in enhancing intrinsic motivation among elementary school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di TK Negeri Pembina I Tomia, Wakatobi, dan bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan alat permainan edukatif papan perilaku Islami dapat meningkatkan perkembangan agama anak usia 5–6 tahun. Berdasarkan pengamatan, ditemukan bahwa pembelajaran agama masih didominasi metode ceramah dan hafalan tanpa media yang menarik, sehingga anak-anak cepat bosan dan kurang memahami nilai-nilai agama yang diajarkan. Selain itu, masih banyak anak yang menunjukkan perilaku negatif seperti berkata kasar, merebut barang, atau membully teman. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR), serta teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permainan papan perilaku Islami mampu meningkatkan pemahaman anak terhadap nilai-nilai agama seperti mengenal Tuhan, Nabi dan Rasul, serta doa harian. Anak menjadi lebih aktif, senang, dan mampu mengaplikasikan nilai agama dalam keseharian.

Abstract

Community Service which the author carried out with the team on October 19, 2022, at Boneatiro Village, Kapuntori District, Buton Regency aims to provide knowledge, understanding, and development of insight to the community, especially parents who work as fishermen regarding fostering Islamic values from an early age. The target of the service is parents who have early childhood and parents who work as fishermen. The problem with community service is the lack of knowledge and attention of parents in instilling Islamic values in their children from an early age. The author and the Community Service team raised the theme of Early Childhood Education as a Pillar of Building a Progressive Village. From this theme, the PkM Team broke it down into 2 discussion materials presented at the seminar, namely: 1) The Importance of Early Childhood Education in Coastal Areas (Children Fishermen), 2) Inculcation of Islamic Values in Early Childhood in the Area coast. There are 3 stages that are passed in the dedication process, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The preparatory stage is carried out by making observations as a preliminary step to see the real conditions that occur in the coastal community environment. The implementation stage is the stage of assisting the material that has been prepared by the author with the lecture and discussion method. The stage ends with an evaluation. Evaluation is carried out by collecting and concluding the information and data obtained at the stages carried out. The results of the seminar showed an increase in parents' knowledge and understanding of the importance of fusing Islamic values in children from an early age, this knowledge and understanding were responded to by parents' strong commitment to implementing it in everyday life.

Abstract

The community service project that we conducted on October 30, 2021 at TK Al Gazali Desa Metere District Lakudo Central Buton District aims to provide teachers with insight into effective media for learning in Early Childhood, to improve teacher skills in creating educational game tools, and to provide teachers with insights and equip them to develop learning media in the form of Educational Game Tools for Children in their Early Age. Teachers at Al Gazali Kindergarten in Metere Village, Lakudo District, Central Buton Regency were the intended recipients of this activity. The topic of dedication concerns the instructors' degree of awareness and ability, as well as the limitations of educational gaming instruments that can help pupils at Al Gazali Kindergarten in Metere Village acquire moral and religious values. Three phases are necessary to resolve the problem: preparation, implementation, and assessment. The planning stage begins with observations to ascertain the state of educational gaming instruments in use at the school. The implementation stage is comprised of training in the creation of Hijaiyyah Letter Flash Cards, beginning with the delivery of material in the form of perentase via lecture methods, followed by Q&A or discussion and training in the form of a workshop in the creation of APE Flash Cards Hijaiyyah Letter as a means of improving teacher skills. Monitoring and assessment concludes the process. Monitoring and evaluation are accomplished by the collection and analysis of data at each level. The training results indicated a degree of success, with kindergarten teachers Al Gazali Desa Metere gaining a better understanding of the importance of APE in stimulating the development of moral and religious values, teachers improving their skills in creating APE Flash Cards to aid in the learning process, teachers responding positively to the training conducted, and teachers successfully completing the creation of APE Flash Card Hijaiyyah, according to the number.

Abstract

The general purpose of this activity is to assist the PAUD unit to find out how to make website which is a medium of information dissemination and communication between paud units and related parties. With the PAUD unit website, there are several benefits, including being present in providing positive content for the public to realize a healthy internet, encouraging paud units to present positive and creative paud unit activity information, child guardians and the public can know various things about PAUD units directly, and foster public confidence in paud units. Kec.Pasarwajo there are many PAUD units both public and private. Implementation of assistance in 14 kindergartens of Pasarwajo Subdistrict. The problem does not yet have a PAUD unit website. So it is considered necessary to carry out assistance to paud units, especially in pasarwajo subdistrict.  The activity begins with exposure to free website creation through wordpress and continues with direct practice assistance. The results of the activity showed that paud units in pasarwajo district of buton regency with participants of PAUD unit operators totaling 14 PAUD units in pasarwajo districts had been able to create a free website through wordpress. In addition, assistance has an impact on the spirit of operators in pasarwajo sub-district.
