Abstract

Pembelajaran STEAM mendorong siswa untuk berpikir kritis dan menganalisis informasi. Melalui eksperimen, proyek, dan tugas-tugas kreatif, siswa belajar untuk menyusun argumen, membuat prediksi, dan mengevaluasi hasil. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis implementasi pembelajaran STEAM pada kelas rendah di sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian kualitatif dengan studi pustakan atau Literature Review. Tujuannya adalah untuk menganalisis perbandingan teori-teori yang ada dengan teori-teori sebelumnya dalam literatur penelitian. Literatur yang digunakan adalah literatur dari hasil penelitian atau kajian yang disajikan dalam artikel ilmiah. Berdasarkan literature review dari beberapa artikel kesimpulan pada artikel ini adalah pembelajaran STEAM di kelas rendah khususnya di sekolah dasar mmerupakan pembelajaran kontekstual, dimana anak diajak untuk memahami kejadian yang terjadi dalam ruang lingkup kehidupan sehingga anak mengeksplorasi semua kemampuan yang dimilikinya dan memunculkan karya yang berbeda dari individu maupun kelompok. Kolaborasi, Kerjasama, dan komunikasi diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran karena STEAM dilakukan secara berkelompok untuk merangsang kemamampu bertanggung jawab dan memecahkan masalah baik personal ataupun interpersonal terhadap pembelajaran serta mampu mengkonstruk pemahaman terhadap materi yang disampaikan.

Abstract

Background. Technological advancements have revolutionized education, particularly in elementary schools, offering novel avenues for learning. Seamless Learning, by seamlessly blending classroom and digital learning experiences, emerges as a promising avenue to enhance elementary students’ academic success. Purpose. This research aims to identify effective learning strategies and models using the Seamless Learning approach. Through a deeper understanding of how technology and an integrated learning environment can influence learning outcomes, it is hoped that concrete recommendations will emerge to improve learning practices in elementary schools. Method. This study uses quantitative surveys to assess Seamless Learning’s effect on elementary students’ academic success. It involves 30 PGSD and PGMI students who completed the PPL, alongside experienced SD teachers. Data collection occurs through WhatsApp questionnaires, with analysis conducted using the Miles Huberman model. Results. The results of the questionnaire analysis showed that the majority of respondents expressed positive perceptions of the use of Seamless Learning in school children’s learning base. The majority of respondents use technology regularly, feel enthusiastic, and feel improvements in understanding, applying, and improving their learning achievement through this approach. Conclusion. Overall, this research confirms the great potential of using Seamless Learning in increasing student engagement and learning achievement in school base. However, continuous efforts are needed to optimize the use of Seamless Learning so that it can provide maximum benefits for learning in elementary schools, as well as prepare students to better face the demands of the modern world.

Abstract

Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a mental disorder related to seasonal changes that occur during winter due to lack of exposure to sunlight. Light therapy has become a focus in treating depressive symptoms in sufferers of Seasonal Affective Disorder. However, more in-depth research is still needed to clarify the effect of light therapy in reducing symptoms of depression in sufferers of Seasonal Affective Disorder. This study aims to explore the effect of light therapy on reducing depressive symptoms in sufferers of Seasonal Affective Disorder and to provide scientific evidence that can support the use of light therapy as an effective treatment method. This research method uses a randomized controlled clinical study design involving adult participants who have been diagnosed with Seasonal Affective Disorder. Participants were divided into two groups, one group received light therapy for a certain period of time, while the control group received usual treatment. Depressive symptoms were evaluated before, during, and after the intervention using proven rating scales. The results showed that participants who received light therapy experienced a significant reduction in depressive symptoms compared to the control group. Light therapy has consistently been shown to improve mood and energy and reduce symptoms of depression in people with Seasonal Affective Disorder. The conclusion of this study shows that light therapy has a positive influence in reducing symptoms of depression in sufferers of Seasonal Affective Disorder. The use of light therapy as a non-pharmacological intervention can be an effective and relatively safe therapeutic option to reduce the impact of Seasonal Affective Disorder on an individual's well-being. Thus, light therapy can be integrated as part of the treatment for sufferers of Seasonal Affective Disorder.

Abstract

Lingkungan kerja yang positif dan kondusif dapat menciptakan suasana yang nyaman bagi guru dalam menjalankan tugas mereka, baik dalam kegiatan mengajar di kelas maupun dalam memenuhi tanggung jawab administratif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap tingkat disiplin guru di SD Negeri 3 Nganganaumala. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif korelasional untuk menganalisis hubungan antara Lingkungan kerja dan tingkat disiplin kerja guru di SD Negeri 3 Nganganaumala. Analisis data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara kuantitatif menggunakan teknik analisis korelasi Pearson untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variabel Lingkungan kerja dan tingkat disiplin kerja. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa tingkat disiplin guru di SD Negeri 3 Nganganaumala secara keseluruhan berada pada tingkat yang moderat dengan sedikit variasi. Meskipun terdapat perbedaan antara guru, sebagian besar memiliki tingkat disiplin yang konsisten, tercermin dari rata-rata yang stabil dan rendahnya standar deviasi. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa faktor-faktor seperti lingkungan kerja yang kondusif dan kebijakan manajerial yang mendukung berperan penting dalam menjaga konsistensi kedisiplinan guru. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyarankan agar pihak sekolah terus menjaga dan meningkatkan kondisi kerja yang positif untuk mempertahankan dan memperbaiki tingkat disiplin guru di masa depan.

Abstract

Technology-based language learning, particularly Mobile-Assisted Language Learning (MALL), is increasingly utilized to support autonomous learning. However, limited research has explored how Duolingo contributes to metacognitive awareness and learning autonomy among non-English major students in Indonesia. This study aims to analyse the impact of Duolingo on these two variables and to explore the relationship between them. Using a mixed-methods approach with a quasi-experimental design, 56 non-English major students from Universitas Muhammadiyah Buton participated in the study. Quantitative data were analysed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and Spearman Rank correlation, while qualitative data were examined through thematic analysis. The Wilcoxon test results indicated a significant increase in metacognitive awareness (p < 0.001) and learning autonomy (p < 0.001), with a strong positive correlation between them (r = 0.72, p < 0.001). Interviews revealed that Duolingo’s gamification features, such as streaks and leaderboards, helped students become more aware of their learning strategies and more independent in their learning process. This study demonstrates that Duolingo not only facilitates language learning but also enhances students' autonomy and metacognitive awareness.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to identify the challenges faced by school principals in managing resources, as well as formulate strategies or recommendations that can support increasing the effectiveness of school management.Methodology – The research method uses a study approach to analyzing research journal trends using bibliometric mapping that allows policy makers, including school principals, to understand the development of innovations that can be applied in school management. Data analysis in this study was carried out on 650 documents that had been collected and selected based on relevance to the research topic. After the initial processing stage, the data was further analyzed using VOSviewer, a bibliometric software that allows visualization of relationships between researchers, institutional collaboration, and mapping of keywords that often appear in the documents analyzed.Findings – The results of this study indicate that the implementation of principal competencies in managing educational resources plays an important role in improving the effectiveness of school management and the quality of learning. The use of technology, data analysis, and performance-based approaches are the main focus in educational leadership strategies. The contributions of various countries show that this issue is receiving global attention, with best practices that can be adapted to improve school competitiveness.Contribution – With a data-based approach, principals can optimize teaching staff, facilities, and curriculum to create a more adaptive and innovative learning environment.

Abstract

A positive and adaptive learning environment plays a crucial role in enhancing the intrinsic motivation of elementary school students. As the primary managers of the classroom, teachers hold a strategic position in creating learning conditions that support students’ emotional, social, and academic needs. This study aims to examine teacher management in fostering a learning environment that promotes students’ intrinsic motivation through five key aspects: structured lesson planning, the creation of a positive classroom atmosphere, the provision of exploratory freedom, the empowerment of student roles, and the adjustment to individual needs. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method through semi-structured interviews with five elementary school teachers from various grade levels. The findings indicate that teachers have implemented student-centered learning approaches through flexible and responsive strategies. Teachers design lesson plans based on students’ needs, create a safe and enjoyable classroom climate, and provide space for students to express themselves and take active roles. Challenges faced include limited time, large class sizes, and diverse student characteristics. Nevertheless, teachers strive to establish a supportive learning environment that motivates students to engage in independent and meaningful learning. This study highlights the importance of adaptive teacher management in enhancing intrinsic motivation among elementary school students.

Abstract

Strategi pembelajaran ini sering kali melibatkan pendekatan berbasis proyek yang memungkinkan siswa bekerja sama untuk menyelesaikan tugas tertentu, melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis, komunikasi, dan kolaborasi. Tujuan Penelitian untuk mengetahui Kemampuan Membaca Siswa Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dengan Strategi Pembelajaran Interaktif pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) adalah jenis karya tulis akademik yang menitik beratkan pada refleksi dengan melakukan tindakan-tindakan yang relevan atau memperbaiki atau meningkatkan prestasi dan hasil belajar siswa serta mempertimbangkan konsep-konsep yang baru di kenalkan. Penelitian tindakan kelas terbagi menjadi empat siklus, dan keempat kegiatan yang ada dalam siklus adalah a. perencanaan b. pelaksanaan c. pengamatan d. refleksi. Hasil belajar siswa yang meningkat dapat dilihat pada nilai yang diperoleh siswa pada prasiklus, siklus I dan siklus II. Diketahui pada prasiklus presentase ketuntasan belajar adalah 34% lalu mengalami peningkatan di siklus I sebesar 43% dan terjadi lagi peningkatan di siklus II sebesar 85%. Nah melihat presentase tersebut peneliti telah melampaui ketuntasan belajar sekolah dan untuk melihat respon dan keaktivan siswa dapat dilihat dari hasil observasi yang diketahui pada siklus I mencapai 43% dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II sebesar 80%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas pelatihan manajemen kelas berbasis edutainment bagi dosen pemula dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain eksperimental pre-test post-test control group. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dosen pemula yang dibagi menjadi kelompok kontrol dan kelompok perlakuan yang menerima pelatihan manajemen kelas berbasis edutainment. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan manajemen kelas berbasis edutainment efektif meningkatkan keterampilan dan kepercayaan diri dosen pemula dalam menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih menyenangkan bagi mahasiswa. Dosen yang mengikuti pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan dalam penerapan strategi edutainment, interaksi yang lebih positif dengan mahasiswa, dan peningkatan motivasi belajar mahasiswa
