Abstract

This study aimed to determine the difference of students’ learning motivation on CTL learning model and expository learning model. The implementation of CTL and expository learning model was proved to give different effect on the students’ motivation in learning social science subject. This study was quasi-experimental research which did not use a control group. The design of this study was nonequivalent groups pre-test-post-test design. This study was conducted at grade IV SDN 191 Pekanbaru with a total of 45 students. Different learning models significantly influenced the students’ motivation in learning social science. This difference was seen from the average value of the students’ learning motivation in which the average value for expository learning model was 52.72 and the value for CTL model was 79.69. This study also found that the difference value of expository learning model and CTL model towards the students’ motivation was 24.53% while the remaining 74.57% was influenced by other variables.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mensurvei minat siswa terhadap pelajaran matematika dikelas tinggi SD Desa Kepenuhan Barat Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian survey dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitafif dan dengan desain penelitian Survey Descriptive Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 306 siswa dari 3 sekolah diSD Desa Kepenuhan Barat Kabupaten Rokan Hulu dan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu Random Sampling dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin maka diperoleh sampel sebanyak 174 siswa. Teknik pengambilan data dengan menyebarkan angket minat belajar matematika dikelas tinggi. Variabel penelitian ini adalah survey minat siswa (X)  terhadap pelajaran matematika (Y) dikelas tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil survey pengolahan data tersebut maka diketahui bahwa di SD Desa Kepenuhan Barat Kabupaten Rokan Hulu siswa SD kelas Tinggi Sangat berminat terhadap pelajaran matematika dengan siswa berjumlah 84 dengan hasil presentase 47,27% ,siswa berjumlah 57 dengan presentasi 32,75% yaitu siswa yang memiliki kategori berminat terhadap pelajaran matematika. Siswa sebanyak 23 dengan presentasi 13,21% adalah siswa yang memiliki kategori rendah minat terhadap pelajaran matematika, dan siswa sebanyak 10 dengan presentasi 5,74 adalah siswa yang mimiliki kategori sangat rendah minat terhadap pelajaran matematika. Abstract

Digital learning assessment is one of the important innovations in modern education that can improve the quality of the teaching and learning process through the use of technology. One of the applications currently widely used in learning assessment is Kahoot. Kahoot is a game-based learning platform that allows teachers to conduct assessments in an interactive, fun, and easily accessible way for students. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using the Kahoot application as digital learning assessment on the learning motivation of primary school students. The research method used is quantitative. The research sample consists of 30 fifth-grade students from SDN 120 Pekanbaru. The research instruments include a student learning motivation questionnaire. The questionnaire was administered after the students used the Kahoot application in learning assessment. The questionnaire was administered with the aim of observing the students' responses to the use of the Kahoot application in learning assessment. The results of the study show that 14.11% always, 29.63% often, 21.16% sometimes, 25.40% rarely, and 9.70% never.
