This study aims to analyze self-disclosure in interpersonal communication and the causes of the victim's decision to self-disclose, so that the victim filed a complaint against the violence she experienced to the KOMNAS Perempuan Partner Service Institute. The research method used descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews with eight main informants and six triangulation informants. The results showed that self-disclosure in interpersonal communication was carried out to the people closest to the victim, namely friends, biological mothers, adoptive mothers, nephews, and lawyers who handled the case, by conveying messages in the form of domestic events aimed at getting a way out of solving the problem, through direct and indirect communication channels (WhatsApp), causing effects, namely awareness of the right to protection from the state, the courage to sue and report the perpetrator, get help with case fees, the willingness of the communicant to become a trial witness, and the acceptance of the victim to return to live with the communicant. Two informants were in the open window because they realized the violence they experienced and intended to disclose it, two informants were in the blind window because they did not realize the violence they experienced, and four informants were in the hidden window because they realized the violence they experienced but had hidden it. This research examines the cognitive, affective and conative responses of women administrators of the North Sumatra Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) to the documentary video "Polygamy Polemic in Indonesia: Sharing Heaven" on the Vice Indonesia YouTube channel. This research involved non-participatory observation and in-depth interviews. There were six research informants and one triangulation informant. The information received resulted in saturated data. The results showed that the informants negotiated the film's content cognitively and affectively. Although they recognize the legal legitimacy of polygamy, they conatively refuse to engage in polygamous marriages. Apart from that, there are concerns among women administrators of the North Sumatra MUI that this broadcast could create negative stereotypes and position polygamy as an ambiguous law in Islam so that its practice is no longer relevant to carry out

This study aims to analyze research Trends in the field of communication sciences in Southeast Asia. The research methodology employed is bibliometric analysis using Vosviewer software. Bibliometric analysis is a method used to quantitatively measure and analyze scientific literature. Findings include the development of Trending research topics, patterns of collaboration among researchers, and the geographic distribution of author affiliations. Additionally, there is evident shifting of research focuses in line with contemporary developments and socio-political changes in the region. However, research Trends in Scopus indicate significant interdisciplinary synergy between communication sciences and fields such as nanotechnology, philosophy, and synthetic biology, which enhance both technology and understanding of communication. The conclusions of this study provide a comprehensive overview of research Trends in communication sciences in Southeast Asia. The results serve as a reference for researchers, academicians, and practitioners to understand the dynamics of research development and identify areas requiring further exploration in Southeast Asian context

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mendeskripsikan penguasaan kosakata dengan keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas IV SD IT Nurul Islam Singkawang. (2) Mendeskripsikan keterampilan menulis puisi di SD IT Nurul Islam Singkawang. (3) Mendeskripsikan hubungan penguasaan kosakata terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas IV SD IT Nurul Islam Singkawang. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SD IT Nurul Islam Singkawang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik sampling jenuh. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SD IT Nurul Islam Singkawang yang terdiri dari kelas IV Ishaq dan IV Ismail berjumlah 42 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik tes Penguasaan kosakata dan Tes Keterampilan menulis puisi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah analisis persentase deskriptif, analisis nilai rata-rata, dan korelasi Spearman Rank. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) tingkat penguasaan kosakata tergolong sedang dengan rata-rata keseluruhan nilai 41,86 (2) tingkat keterampilan menulis puisi tergolong tinggi dengan rata-rata keseluruhan 67, 10 (3) ada hubungan penguasaan kosakata dengan keterampilan menulis puisi siswa dengan thitung > ttabel = 2,99 > 1,68 dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,18 atau dengan persentase 18,29%. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan penguasaan kosakata dengan keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas IV SD IT Nurul Islam Singkawang. Kata kunci: Penguasaan kosakata, keterampilan menulis puisi, Bahasa Indonesia SD.

The objective of this study is to conduct a needs analysis for the development of Android-based Augmented Reality learning media at SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Kunyit. This research employs a qualitative approach. The population includes all teachers and students involved in the Informatics learning process at SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Kunyit. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, consisting of two Informatics subject teachers and two students from SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Kunyit. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The analysis results indicate that Informatics learning at SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Kunyit faces challenges due to limited facilities, such as computer laboratories and textbooks. Therefore, Android-based Augmented Reality learning media is needed to support a more interactive and innovative learning experience.

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kurangnya minat siswa dalam proses pembelajaran karena media pembelajaran yang digunakan masih berupa buku cetak dan peran guru sangat mendominasi dalam proses pembelajaran pada matapelajaran Geografi. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif agar siswa aktif belajar dan menciptakan kemandirian belajar siswa. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu: 1) untuk mengetahui pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif pada mata pelajaran Geografi, 2) untuk mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif pada interaktif pada mata pelajaran Geografi, 3) untuk mengetahui siswa setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif pada interaktif pada mata pelajaran Geografi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam yaitu Research and Development (R&D). Metode ini bertujuan mengembangkan produk dan dilakukan penelitian agar layak digunakan oleh siswa. Model pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu Borg and Gall. Alat pengumpul data berupa angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa data display dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian yaitu rata-rata skor penilaian ahli materi adalah 110 sehingga dikategorikan layak. Sedangkan rata-rata skor penilaian ahli media adalah 97 sehingga dikategorikan layak. Hasil penilaian respon siswa memiliki skor rata-rata 4 dengan kategori baik.

The phenomenon of increasing numbers of Indonesian patients, particularly from Medan, choosing to seek medical treatment in Penang, Malaysia, is the focus of this study. Departing from unmet expectations regarding domestic healthcare services, this study aims to understand the communication between patients and medical personnel, as well as the factors that drive patients to choose overseas services. A qualitative method with a phenomenological approach was used to gain an in-depth understanding of the patients' experiences. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with five patients from Medan selected through purposive sampling based on the criterion of having undergone at least three independent medical treatments in Penang. Data triangulation involved a doctor to enrich perspectives and enhance the validity of findings. The study revealed that ineffective communication and lack of empathy in local hospitals led to patient dissatisfaction, prompting them to seek more patient-friendly, transparent, and professional services in Penang. Cost, ease of access, and cultural similarities further reinforce this decision. This study underscores the importance of improving communication and medical professionalism in Indonesia to reduce unmet expectations and decrease the number of patients seeking treatment abroad. Abstrak Fenomena peningkatan pasien asal Indonesia, terutama dari Medan, yang memilih berobat ke Penang, Malaysia, menjadi fokus penelitian ini. Berangkat dari pelanggaran harapan terhadap layanan kesehatan domestik, penelitian ini bertujuan memahami komunikasi antara pasien dan tenaga medis serta faktor yang mendorong pasien memilih layanan luar negeri. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, memungkinkan pemahaman mendalam pengalaman pasien. Data dikumpulkan lewat wawancara mendalam dengan lima pasien Medan yang dipilih secara purposive sampling berdasarkan kriteria pengalaman minimal tigakali berobat ke Penang secara mandiri. Triangulasi data melibatkan seorang dokter untuk memperkaya perspektif dan meningkatkan validitas temuan. Hasil penelitian mengungkap bahwa komunikasi yang kurang efektif dan empati di rumah sakit lokal menyebabkan ketidakpuasan pasien, sehingga mereka mencari layanan yang lebih ramah, transparan, dan profesional di Penang. Faktor biaya, akses mudah, dan kesamaan budaya turut memperkuat keputusan tersebut. Studi ini menegaskan pentingnya peningkatan komunikasi dan profesionalisme medis di Indonesia guna menekan pelanggaran harapan dan mengurangi pasien yang berobat ke luar negeri.
