Abstract

Training on developing learning gamification aims to strengthen collaborative cooperation among teachers and students in elementary schools. This training focuses on increasing teachers' understanding and skills in designing and implementing gamification elements that encourage cooperation, collaboration and social interaction in learning. Through the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model, this training provides a systematic approach in developing technology-based and non-digital learning gamification. Training activities are carried out using blended learning, which combines offline and online learning to provide flexibility and effectiveness in implementation. The results of this training show a significant increase in teachers' ability to integrate gamification in learning, as well as building sustainable learning communities in schools. The results of the PKM implementation questionnaire showed that 91.7% of teachers were helped by this training. The suitability of the material to the needs received a score of 92.8%, the method of delivering the material was 94.2%, the follow-up to complaints or questions was good at 91.4%, and the indicator of increasing the professional and pedagogical competence of partners/participants was 93.5% . This training not only strengthens teacher competence in using educational technology but also strengthens the values ​​of mutual cooperation among students, thereby creating a more collaborative and inclusive learning environment. Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan penguasaan ragam cengkok tembang Macapat di kalangan pemuda Hindu anggota PERADAH Kabupaten Probolinggo melalui program pelatihan dan pendampingan. Latar belakang program ini adalah kekhawatiran terhadap menurunnya penerusan tradisi tembang Macapat di generasi muda. Tembang Macapat merupakan warisan budaya Jawa yang mengandung nilai sastra dan seni suara, namun saat ini kurang dikenal oleh pewarisnya karena minimnya sarana pembelajaran serta terbatasnya pengajar dan variasi materi tembang[1][2]. Mitra kegiatan (DPK PERADAH Probolinggo) menghadapi masalah keterbatasan pengetahuan pemuda tentang jenis-jenis cengkok Macapat dan minimnya sumber daya manusia yang mampu mengajarkannya. Program dilaksanakan dalam dua tahap: (1) pelatihan tatap muka dengan materi teori dasar tembang Macapat dan praktik melantunkan lagu Macapat, dan (2) pendampingan daring selama satu bulan yang difokuskan pada bimbingan pembuatan video penampilan Macapat oleh peserta. Metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah, demonstrasi, latihan (drill), tugas proyek pembuatan video, serta diskusi interaktif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam melagukan tembang Macapat. Sebagian besar peserta (sekitar 80%) mampu menyanyikan tembang Macapat dengan cengkok dasar secara tepat setelah pelatihan. Respon peserta sangat positif, di mana lebih dari 80% menyatakan puas terhadap program dan tidak ada respon negatif. Peserta juga termotivasi untuk terus melestarikan Macapat, dibuktikan dengan antusiasme mereka mengunggah video tembang Macapat ke media sosial komunitas. Luaran kegiatan mencakup video dokumentasi pelatihan di kanal YouTube, publikasi berita kegiatan di media massa lokal, serta laporan akhir program. Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa pelatihan dan pendampingan berbasis komunitas dapat menjadi strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan kapasitas generasi muda dalam menguasai seni tradisional, sekaligus berkontribusi pada pelestarian warisan budaya lokal di tengah arus modernisasi.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to introduce Javanese folk songs to students at the Indonesian School of Johor Bahru (SIJB) through interactive online and face-to-face storytelling. The online learning sessions were conducted via Zoom from October 6–21, 2024 (ten sessions) and face-to-face on October 22, 2024. The fairy tale titled “Kancil lan Pak Tani” was modified to include the song Gundhul gundhul Pacul, with the hope of strengthening understanding of cultural and moral values. Observations showed excellent student enthusiasm, the ability to sing the song in 10 sessions, and an increase in understanding of moral meanings and Javanese vocabulary. Partner teachers stated that this activity enriched cultural learning and supported plans for a performance at the “Wonderful Nusantara” event in Malaysia. These findings indicate that interactive storytelling-based cultural learning is an effective strategy in a cross-border context. Recommendations for further activities include the development of digital modules and training in other folk songs.
