Abstract

Aeronautical Information Services (AIS) is a service responsible for ensuring the safety, regulation, and efficient air navigation through providing information and data related to aviation. Aeronautical Information Services (AIS) is a service established within a specific geographical area responsible for providing flight information and data. Therefore, it requires supporting facilities to provide high-quality information to support airline operations. In this journal, a qualitative approach with descriptive data is employed. Data collection is done through direct observation (direct observation) as an insider directly conducts On-the-Job Training at the AIS in the Denpasar Region.

Abstract

Submitting airspace NOTAM requests is a crucial process in ensuring the safety and efficiency of aviation operations. This process relies on the completeness and timeliness of data provided by various relevant parties. However, delays in receiving the required data often become a significant obstacle, leading to delays in submitting NOTAM requests. This issue can disrupt the smooth flow of flight operations, especially in handling emergencies or significant changes in airspace conditions. This study aims to analyze the impact of delayed data submission on the process at Perum LPPNPI Palembang Branch. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The findings reveal that delayed data submission not only hinders the timely submission of requests but also poses potential risks to flight operations and diminishes stakeholder trust.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kesesuaian marka heliport di Bandar Udara Fatmawati Soekarno Bengkulu dengan standar internasional (ICAO Annex 14 Vol. II) dan regulasi nasional (Peraturan Direktur Jenderal Perhubungan Udara Nomor KP 215 Tahun 2019). Latar belakang penelitian didasarkan pada pentingnya standardisasi marka heliport untuk menjamin keselamatan dan efisiensi operasional, terutama mengingat ketidaksesuaian marka dapat meningkatkan risiko kecelakaan dan pelanggaran regulasi. Studi ini berfokus pada marka di area FATO, TLOF, dan Safety Area. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif, meliputi observasi lapangan, wawancara dengan pihak terkait, serta analisis dokumen regulasi. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan teknik gap analysis untuk mengidentifikasi ketidaksesuaian antara kondisi eksisting dan standar yang berlaku. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa marka eksisting pada FATO dan TLOF tidak memenuhi standar minimal yang ditetapkan, sementara Safety Area sudah sesuai. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, peneliti memberikan dua rekomendasi solusi: (1) menurunkan nilai D (D-value) menjadi 9,64 meter untuk menyesuaikan marka eksisting tanpa perlu pembangunan ulang, atau (2) melakukan perbaikan fisik heliport agar sesuai dengan standar. Rekomendasi ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi pengelola bandara dalam meningkatkan keselamatan dan efisiensi operasional heliport.
