Abstract

Class learning is a teaching and learning activity involving both teachers and students. Students in the class have different levels of intelligence, divided into three categories: lowest, average, and most intelligent. Teachers usually pay less attention to less intelligent students. Consider a student who is not intelligent enough to remain in school. However, if a smart student is required to repeat content he already comprehends, he will become bored. Therefore, this study developed an intelligent tutoring system (ITS)-based learning application with a Markov decision process (MDP). The combination of ITS and MDP enabled intelligence to determine the most appropriate subsequent step by delivering tutorials and examination questions that guide students to efficiently attain intelligence levels.

Abstract

The Electricity Customer Service Information System is a website for making new electricity requests and changing electrical power. Along with the development and advancement of technology, industrial technology is closely related to electric power, one of the most significant aspects that vigorously supports the development, particularly in the Information Technology sector in the urban world. Electric power is a fundamental element for enhancing the welfare of society. Therefore, electrical energy is a measure of societal development. Thus, a website-based information system was developed employing an observational data-gathering technique. This study utilized System Development Live Cycle (SDLC) as the system development approach, Unified Modeling Language (UML) for system analysis and design, PHP as the programming language, and MYSQL as the database.

Abstract

The study of fonts encompasses not only the expression of letter forms but also other aspects of readability and appearance. The necessity for additional font references for mobile learning heightens the importance of the font selection issue. Because many writers want their readers to feel comfortable and at ease when reading their work, study on this font is necessary because if the font size on a mobile phone is too large or too tiny, it becomes unpleasant. This research aims to examine the varieties of fonts that feels comfortable, appropriate, and clear for mobile learning material. This study employed a survey-based data-gathering method. Research on fonts such as Garamond, Gill Sans, Cambria, Kalibri, Constantia, Lato, and Georgia with sizes 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, and 28 and short to lengthy phrases revealed that Georgia was recommended for small and medium size fonts with sizes 10 to 22. For greater font sizes, however, Garamond was suggested with a size of 26.

Abstract

Distance learning, or online learning, is essential for both teachers and students as they work to create a system of education to function during a pandemic. Therefore, this research aims to develop a CAI media-based learning application for teaching fractions in mathematics. The survey results conducted at SDN 1 Sukerejo Boyolali revealed that students encountered the most trouble with fractions. Hence, their comprehension of the mathematics learning application was evaluated. The pre-test and post-test results of 30 students in both the control and experiment classes demonstrated that the application was easier to use than direct or traditional learning methods.

Abstract

E-learning is formal and non-formal learning carried out using technology, allowing students and teachers to conduct teaching and learning processes using electronic media. By using the e-learning module, YouTube can be included to create material and to ease learning. However, a lot of educational videos on YouTube cover ground already well-covered. Accordingly, the audience cannot skip unnecessary things. Therefore, a YouTube API-based e-learning module was built to help users learn the material effectively. A System Usability Scale (SUS) was employed in this study, allowing easier data collection using a questionnaire. The data analysis acquired a score of 68 (B), signifying the usefulness of the module. The module provided convenience to the users to grasp the material in a brief time.
From Voices to Quality Metrics: Leveraging Patient Conversation Analysis and Speech Recognition for Timely Hospital Service Quality Management in a Hospital Outpatient Setting Sundari, Sri; Purbohadi, Dwijoko; Robani, Anidah

Abstract

Hospitals today face growing pressure to evaluate service quality in ways that go beyond what conventional surveys can offer. Patient satisfaction questionnaires remain widely used, yet their dependence on retrospective recall means that problems are often identified long after they occur, if at all. This study set out to explore whether patient conversation data, captured via passive audio recording and processed by speech recognition, could serve as a near-real-time source of service quality indicators in a hospital setting. An exploratory observational approach was taken at a private type C hospital in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Recordings were gathered from public service areas. After processing and cleaning, the dataset contained 47,223 textual units, with 7,368 unique words and 22,329 meaningful phrases. The analysis drew on frequency counting, thematic categorisation, sentiment orientation, and linguistic diversity mapping. Waiting time and queuing issues dominated the data, with 'queue' appearing 317 times and 'waiting' 276 times. BPJS-related topics appeared 155 times, referral problems 114 times. Negative expressions outnumbered positive ones. Conversation volume peaked at 07.00-09.00 (40% of all recorded activity). The findings suggest that routinely recorded patient conversations, when processed systematically, may serve as a practical complement to conventional satisfaction surveys, showing promise for supporting more timely and evidence-grounded decisions in hospital service management.
