Abstract

The drastic drop in prices often does not merely reflect a surge in supply which is not accompanied by an increase in demand in an equal proportion, but also reflects a supply chain that is not well developed. The purpose of this study was to analyze the supply chain and supply chain margins for maize commodity in Dompu Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. The research method used a descriptive quantitative approach involving 120 corn farmers as respondents. This study uses supply chain margin analysis and Farmer's Share. The results showed that there were three types of supply chains, namely (1) Farmer-VCT-DCT-Wholesaler-PMT, (2) Farmer-DCT-Wholesaler-PMT, (3) Farmer-Wholesaler-PMT. Of the three supply chains 46% of farmers use the second supply chain, namely Farmers-DCT-Wholesaler-PMT. The supply chain that has a small margin and a high farmer's share is the third supply chain, with a supply chain margin of IDR 613 and a farmer's share of 85.22%.Keywords: Supply chain, Corn, Dompu.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the fiscal decentralization component on poverty, directly or indirectly, through pro-poor expenditures in Special Regions of Yogyakarta. The Privileges of the Special Region of Yogyakarta mentioned what distinguishes it from the other provinces so that it is called a special region is the privilege to establish a social order that guarantees diversity and the critical role of the Sultanate and Duchy of Pakualaman in preserving culture. However, poverty in the Special Region of Yogyakarta is spread in every district. On the other side, more than two decades of efforts to address poverty have been through fiscal decentralization. During the era of fiscal decentralization, there were problems from the revenue and expenditure sides. It is a question related to the successful implementation of fiscal decentralization. This study uses path analysis with secondary data. The result of this study is that the component of local revenue can play a role in poverty reduction directly through local-own source revenue. The indirectly effect shows that poverty alleviation can also be done through the role of local-own source revenue through pro-poor expenditure instruments.

Abstract

Nickel is a mineral that has become popular in recent years as the electric vehicle industry has boomed. Indonesia is a country with abundant resources and reserves of raw nickel ore. This study aims to determine the export competitiveness of Indonesian processed nickel products against their exporters and the factors that influence exports of Indonesian processed nickel products. This research is included in quantitative research using secondary data. The analysis technique used is the Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) analysis method and panel regression analysis. The results show that in the Nickel Processed Product Commodity, Indonesia has quite good competitiveness against competing countries. In addition, the competitiveness variable, the Gross Domestic Product per capita of the destination country, and the exchange rate of the destination country have a significant positive effect on Indonesia's exports of processed nickel products. The findings of this study imply that Indonesia needs to maintain and increase its current competitiveness for nickel-processed product commodities and needs to pay attention to factors such as competitiveness, Gross Domestic Product per capita of destination countries, and destination country exchange rates to optimize Indonesia's export activities.

Abstract

Indonesia as a country with very diverse regional typologies needs to pay attention to the effect of typological differences on the relationship between village administration human resources, village economic activities, and village development. This study examines the relationship between village administration human resources and village economic activities with village development in five provinces located on the island of Java, namely Banten, Special Region of Yogyakarta, West Java, Central Java, and East Java. Using the 2019 Village Potential Data (PODES), a descriptive statistical analysis was carried out for around twenty-two thousand recorded villages. In general, this study shows that in terms of IDM status, East Java province has the highest success in village development as indicated by the highest number of independent villages and developed villages compared to other provinces. Several other core variables, such as village administration human resources, village economic activities, and village development have unique performances in each of the analyzed provinces.
