Abstract

Operasional bank sampah di Kota Padang saat ini masih sangat bergantung pada sistem manual untuk pencatatan transaksi dan pengelolaan data pengguna, sehingga menimbulkan ketidakefisienan serta meningkatkan risiko terjadinya kesalahan manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem informasi bank sampah berbasis web menggunakan framework Laravel guna mempermudah proses operasional. Sistem yang dikembangkan memiliki fitur autentikasi pengguna, pencatatan transaksi digital untuk setor dan tarik sampah, pelacakan saldo secara real-time, serta manajemen riwayat transaksi. Proses pengembangan mengikuti metodologi Extreme Programming (XP) yang menekankan pada perencanaan, perancangan, pengkodean, dan pengujian secara iteratif. Arsitektur sistem dirancang dengan struktur modular yang menghubungkan basis data MySQL, backend berbasis Laravel, dan antarmuka pengguna yang dibangun menggunakan Blade template. Pada tahap perancangan, digunakan berbagai diagram seperti use case, aktivitas, kelas, dan entity-relationship untuk memastikan sistem yang kokoh dan skalabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dihasilkan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, mengurangi kesalahan administrasi, serta menyediakan solusi digital yang ramah pengguna bagi seluruh pemangku kepentingan bank sampah.

Abstract

Innovation and development of the learning process especially during pandemic covid-19, which is a learning process delivered by online techtechnologynologi. support knowledge o the student, need an effective of student on the online student. can create new ideas in the delivery of education An interesting and independent learning requires a media that can stimulate students' interest and participation in the learning, not only dwell with inanimate objects without any direct interaction with the teacher. This study aims to measure how of validity and effectivity & Practicality of PjBL Modul. This book was implemented on SMP Negeri 9 Padang and finally, from evaluation, we get validity, practically, and effectiveness of media. The purpose of this research is to produce a Project-Based Learning Module an effective Modul on ICT subjects based on PjBL Modul. which is designed as an alternative learning media. The method in this study uses the ADDIE Model with development procedures, namely the Analysis, Definition, Design, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The results obtained from this development research: The validity of the media was declared valid with a value of 89.35 by media experts and 88.25 by material experts. The practicality of the media from the lecturer's response got a score of 85.42% (practical) and 84.11 (practical) from the teacher's response. The effectiveness of the media in the effectiveness trial, 80% of students got a score of 75 (classical effectiveness). And in terms of Gain Score, it gets a value of 0.44% (medium), so the Project-Based Learning Module is declared effective in improving learning outcomes. Based on the findings of this study, it was concluded that the Project-Based Learning Module was declared valid, practical, and effective to be used as a learning medium in ICT on SMP Negeri 9 Padang.

Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in vocational education opens up transformative opportunities to develop 21st-century skills, especially critical thinking and problem-solving, which are key competencies for prospective professionals in the automotive sector. This study examines the effectiveness of using AI (Claude and Pollo AI) through the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in improving the critical thinking and problem-solving skills of automotive engineering students in the Vehicle Motion Mechanics course. The study, using a pre-experimental intact group comparison design, involved 37 third-semester students, consisting of an experimental group () and a control group (). The experimental group learned using AI-based PjBL, while the control group received conventional Discovery Learning. Data were collected through validated analytical rubrics and analyzed using an independent samples t-test and effect size. The results showed that the experimental group obtained a much higher critical thinking score (M = 82.45; SD = 6.23) compared to the control group (M = 71.33; SD = 7.89), . Similar improvements were also found in problem-solving skills (M = 84.12; SD = 5.87 vs. M = 69.78; SD = 8.45), , which indicates a strong practical impact. These findings confirm that the integration of AI through PjBL effectively strengthens critical thinking and problem-solving skills in automotive vocational education, while providing empirical evidence to drive technology-based engineering learning transformation.

Abstract

The issues faced by Lecturers and Students of Islamic Education (PAI) at UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar include the suboptimal understanding in preparing teaching materials during field learning practices in schools. Considering the importance of interactive learning media to assist the learning process in schools, there is a need for training in creating interactive video-based learning media through training activities. This training is conducted with the aim of enhancing the knowledge and skills competence of Lecturers and Students of PAI at UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar as prospective teachers who require skills in creating interactive digital-based learning media. This community service activity is carried out using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method through training activities involving Lecturers and Students. The implementation consists of three stages: (1) pre-activity, (2) activity implementation, and (3) evaluation of the implementation. The results of this activity indicate an improvement in the competence of lecturers and students of Islamic education at UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar in utilizing technology to support the learning process, particularly in creating creative, innovative, and interactive learning videos.

Abstract

The effectiveness of academic supervision in middle schools is often hindered by delayed feedback loops due to inefficient conventional data management. This study aims to develop a mobile-based academic supervision and teacher performance evaluation digitalization system at SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP, integrating three pillars of oversight: leadership supervision, teacher self-reflection, and authentic student evaluation. Using the Waterfall development method, this study involved the principal, vice-principal of curriculum, administrative staff, teachers, and student representatives as respondents. Functional validation was conducted using blackbox testing techniques to ensure all modules operate consistently according to requirements specifications. The results indicate that the integration of oversight modules into a Flutter and MySQL-based mobile platform significantly reduces data recapitulation time, from days to real-time data presentation. The substantial findings of this study emphasize that digitalization can strengthen transparency and accountability in teacher performance assessment objectively. The practical implication of this system is the creation of a data-driven educator professionalism culture, where feedback for improving teaching quality can be received instantaneously to continuously enhance the quality of learning.

Abstract

Digitalisasi presensi staf pada fasilitas kesehatan primer diperlukan untuk meningkatkan akurasi, efisiensi administrasi, dan akuntabilitas kehadiran. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan mengimplementasikan prototipe sistem presensi staf Puskesmas Kota Tais berbasis pengenalan wajah dengan mengintegrasikan algoritma Haar Cascade untuk deteksi wajah dan Local Binary Pattern Histogram (LBPH) untuk pengenalan identitas. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah prototype dengan tahapan communication, quick plan, modeling, construction of prototype, serta deployment and feedback. Sistem dibangun berbasis web dengan dua peran pengguna, yaitu admin dan staf, serta didukung pipeline pengenalan wajah yang mencakup deteksi wajah, validasi kualitas citra dan deteksi mata sebagai lapisan anti-spoofing, pra-pemrosesan Tan-Triggs, Difference of Gaussian, dan CLAHE, serta pengenalan LBPH dengan konfigurasi radius 2, neighbors 12, grid_x 8, dan grid_y 8. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mengenali wajah staf terdaftar pada kondisi pencahayaan normal dengan skor kepercayaan 85,27%–85,60%, melampaui threshold 75%. Pada skenario impostor, skor turun menjadi 39,43%, sehingga akses berhasil ditolak. Pengujian blackbox terhadap 22 skenario mencatat keberhasilan fungsional 100%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi Haar Cascade dan LBPH layak digunakan sebagai solusi presensi digital yang responsif, contactless, dan akuntabel pada lingkungan Puskesmas. The digitization of staff attendance in primary healthcare facilities is necessary to improve recording accuracy, administrative efficiency, and attendance accountability. This study aimed to design and implement a face-recognition-based attendance prototype for staff at Tais City Public Health Center by integrating Haar Cascade for face detection and Local Binary Pattern Histogram (LBPH) for identity recognition. The system was developed using the prototype method, consisting of communication, quick planning, modeling, prototype construction, and deployment and feedback. The web-based system supports two user roles, namely administrator and staff, and applies a layered face-recognition pipeline that includes face detection, image-quality validation, eye detection as an anti-spoofing layer, Tan-Triggs preprocessing, Difference of Gaussian, CLAHE, and LBPH recognition with radius 2, neighbors 12, grid_x 8, and grid_y 8. The test results showed that the system recognized registered staff faces under normal lighting conditions with confidence scores of 85.27%–85.60%, exceeding the 75% acceptance threshold. In the impostor scenario, the confidence score dropped to 39.43%, and access was successfully rejected. Blackbox testing on 22 functional scenarios produced a 100% success rate. These findings indicate that the integration of Haar Cascade and LBPH is feasible as a responsive, contactless, and accountable digital attendance solution for a public health center environment.

Abstract

The advancement of information and communication technology has driven significant transformation in document management across various institutions, including corporations. This study aims to develop a web-based technical document repository system for the Site Engineering Unit at PT Semen Padang to address the limitations of manual management and improve efficiency in document retrieval and security. The method employed is software development using the Agile approach, encompassing planning, system design with Unified Modeling Language (UML), system development using the Vue.js and Laravel frameworks, testing through the BlackBox method, and implementation of User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The results indicate that the system successfully modeled actor interactions through UML and passed functional testing. All core features, such as login, document management, role settings, audit trail, and document search—operated effectively without errors. The study concludes that the implementation of a web-based technical document repository system significantly enhances operational efficiency, accelerates retrieval processes, and strengthens document management security within the Site Engineering Unit at PT Semen Padang. The research also recommends further exploration of artificial intelligence integration to optimize system functionality in the future.

Abstract

The manual management of athlete data at the Department of Tourism, Youth, and Sports of Tanah Datar Regency has led to various challenges, including administrative inefficiencies and difficulties for coaches in analyzing athlete performance quickly and accurately. This study aims to implement a web-based athlete management information system using the Laravel framework and the prototype method as a system development approach. System testing was conducted through black box testing using use case testing to ensure all functionalities operated according to predefined scenarios and to maintain data integrity. The test results indicate that the system achieved 100% functionality success, applied strict data validation, and effectively implemented role-based access control (RBAC) for administrators, coaches, and athletes. The system has proven to be a reliable and secure integrated solution to support athlete data management processes, improve work efficiency, and accelerate data-driven decision-making for performance enhancement. This study offers practical contributions to the digitalization of public services in the sports sector and opens avenues for further development, including real-time performance analytics integration.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) merupakan aktivitas yang dijalankan oleh mahasiswa sebagai wujud dari penerapan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi melalui pengabdian langsung kepada masyarakat, dengan tujuan meningkatkan potensi lokal secara aktif dan berkelanjutan. Nagari Tanjung memiliki berbagai potensi dalam bidang pariwisata, ekonomi kreatif, serta sosial budaya yang belum dimaksimalkan, sehingga diperlukan suatu program pemberdayaan yang bersifat terpadu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pelaksanaan serta dampak dari program KKN dalam memperkuat potensi lokal di Nagari Tanjung. Metode yang diterapkan adalah pendekatan partisipatif yang meliputi observasi di lapangan, sosialisasi, pelatihan, pendampingan, serta kerjasama dengan perangkat nagari dan masyarakat. Program utama terdiri dari identifikasi potensi pariwisata, pelatihan membuat kerajinan dari kain bekas dan pemasaran secara digital, pembinaan generasi muda yang peduli terhadap lingkungan, serta promosi kelompok tari tradisional. Program tambahan melibatkan kegiatan seperti posyandu, bimbingan belajar, kampanye menolak perundungan, kerja bakti, dan partisipasi dalam acara keagamaan. dampak dari pelaksanaan aktivitas tersebut mengalami peningkatan dalam keterlibatan masyarakat, keterampilan di sektor ekonomi kreatif, kesadaran akan lingkungan, serta penguatan nilai-nilai sosial dan budaya setempat. Dengan demikian, program KKN ini berperan penting dalam mendorong pemberdayaan masyarakat yang berbasis pada potensi daerah secara berkesinambungan. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya, disarankan agar dilakukan kajian yang lebih mendalam terkait keberlanjutan program pemberdayaan, pengukuran dampak jangka panjang, serta integrasi teknologi digital yang lebih luas dalam pengembangan potensi lokal.
