Abstract

The aim of this research is to design, test the feasibility and effectiveness of QR-Codebased Smart Paper as a learning medium in improving the critical thinking skills ofelementary school students through social studies learning content.The research method used is Research and Development (RD) with the Borg Galldevelopment model. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews,questionnaires, tests and documentation. The initial data analysis technique used thenormality test and homogeneity test. Next, the final data analysis technique used theaverage difference test and the N-Gain test.The research results show that QR-Code based Smart Paper has been successfullydeveloped. This is proven by the validation results of material experts 91.67% and mediaexperts 96.67% with very appropriate criteria. Furthermore, the calculated results of theN-Gain test on the learning outcomes aspect obtained a score of 0.57 with medium criteria and the results of the average difference test obtained a sig (2-tailed) value 0.05, so Ha was accepted. So it can be concluded that QR-Code based Smart Paper is a suitable and effective learning medium for improving students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the form of activity implementation, the role of teachers and principals and the supporting and inhibiting factors in instilling local wisdom values in students through the Pancasila student profile strengthening project.The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques used were non-participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data validity technique used source triangulation. The informants in this study were teachers, students, and the principal of SDN 2 Sendangsari. The data analysis technique used is the Miles Huberman data analysis model.The results of the study state that the project activities to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students focus on the theme of local wisdom. The project of strengthening the profile of Pancasila students with the theme of local wisdom is grouped into three potentials, namely natural, social and cultural potentials. The form of activities with natural potential is planting and harvesting in vegetable gardens, activities with social potential are visits to home industries engaged in the local wisdom sector, while activities with cultural potential include dance, music, and traditional food. The role of teachers in fostering the value of local wisdom is as activity planners, facilitators, and role models. The principal's role in fostering the value of local wisdom is as a supervisor, motivator, and evaluator. Supporting factors include creative teachers, environmental conditions, parents, and students. The inhibiting factors include budget, geographical condition, and external agenda.Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk pelaksanaan kegiatan, peran guru dan kepala sekolah dan faktor pendukung serta penghambat dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal pada peserta didik melalui projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi nonpartisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber.Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah guru, peserta didik, dan kepala sekolah SDN 2 Sendangsari. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu model analisis data Miles Huberman. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa kegiatan projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila berfokus pada tema kearifan lokal. Projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila tema kearifan lokal dikelompokkan menjadi tiga potensi yaitu potensi alam, sosial, dan budaya. Bentuk kegiatan dengan potensi alam yaitu penanaman dan panen di kebun sayur, kegiaran dengan potensi sosial yaitu kunjungan ke industri rumahan yang bergerak di sektor kearifan lokal, sedangkan kegiatan dengan potensi budaya mencakup tarian, musik, hingga makanan tradisional. Peran guru dalam menumbuhkan nilai kearifan lokal yaitu sebagai perencana kegiatan, fasilitator, dan contoh teladan. Peran kepala sekolah dalam menumbuhkan nilai kearifan lokal yaitu sebagai pengawas, motivator, dan evaluator. Faktor pendukung meliputi guru kreatif, kondisi lingkungan, orangtua, dan peserta didik. Faktor penghambat meliputi anggaran, kondisi geografis, dan agenda eksternal

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of student learning outcomes in class IV IPAS subjects that are less than optimal. The purpose of the development of Monopoly media for buying and selling activities is to improve the learning outcomes of grade IV elementary school students. The research method used is Research and Development (RD) with the ADDIE development model. The subjects of this study were students at SD Negeri 2 Sidoharjo grade IV, with a total of 27 students. Data collection techniques applied, namely non-participant structured observation, unstructured or open interviews, documentation, questionnaires, and tess. The results of product validation on media experts amounted to 98.6% and on material experts 83.3%. Normality test obtained Sig. 0.541 on the pretest and Sig. 0.625 on the posttest. Then for the large scale, the results obtained Sig. 0.356 on the pretest and Sig. 0.089 on the posttest. The small scale t-test showed a result of 0.001 and the large scale showed a result of 0.000. The results of the N-Gain Test on a small scale amounted to 0.7019 with high criteria and a large scale of 0.7182 with high criteria. This study can be concluded that the Monopoly of Buying and Selling Activities media is feasible and effective for improving student learning outcomes.
