Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of the students’ learning outcomes of the subject Social Science by using the TPS type of the coorperative model at SDN 25 Lubuk Alung Padang Pariaman. The design of the research was class action research. The subject were a teacher and 32 fifth graders of the school. It was found that the score of the lesson plan increased from 80,37% in cycle I to 96,42% in cycle II. In term of the teacher’s aspect, the score increased from 78,13% in cycle I to 93,75% in cycle II. Meanwhile, in term of the students’ aspect, the score increased from 70,31% in cycle I to 87,5% in cycle II. Finally, the average score of the students’ learning outcomes increased from73,43 in cycle I to 78,15 in cycle II.

Abstract

This reseach aims at finding out a significant difference of students cognitive learning outcomes of Natural Science subject between the Contextual and Conventional Learning. This quasi experiment applied the two group post-test only design. The samples were students of class VA and VB of SDN 09 Belakang Balok, Bukittinggi. 30 students of class VA acted as the experimental class, which was taught using the contextual learning. Meanwhile, 30 students of class VB acted as the control class that was taught using the conventional learning. They were selected using the simple random sampling technique. Based on the t-test of the students post-test scores, it was found that tcount 4,74> ttable 1,67155 α 0,05. It means the contextual learning isi better compared to the conventional one.Keywords: the contextual learning, the conventional learning, students cognitive learning outcomes of natural science subject.

Abstract

 AbstractThe purpose of the this research was to know differences in learning outcomes of calculating broad trapezoid and kite using the cooperative model type Numbered Head Together (NHT) with convensional learning in class V SD 13 Parit Putus. This research design is quasi experiment with nonequivalent control group design. The sample in this study is class V SDN 13 Parit Putus,VA class is exsperiment class and VB class is control class. The results showed that there were influences in calculating flat bilding outcomes using the NHT type cooperative model with the convensional learning  in V SDN 13 Parit Putus,Agam. This is evidenced by the results of tcount 2.190 and t table at a significance level of 0.05 at 1.68595, so that t count> t table. Keyword : calculating broad trapezoid and kite, NHT

Abstract

Theuse of demonstration methods is one way to solve problems in the learning process. The purpose of this researc his to describe the planning, implementation, and the improvement of skills. This type of researc his class room action research, this study uses a qualitative and quantitative approach that is carriedoutin 2 collaborative cycles between researchers, teachers and fifth grade students, 02 KotoLamo, Kapur IX District, Lima Puluh Kota District. The results of this study indicate anincrease in student skills. Abstract

The purpose of the study was to describe an increase in student learning outcomes in Civics learning using the Think Pair Share model in class V SDN 19 Sungai tanang. This type of research is PTK, using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research was conducted in two cycles. Research procedures include planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The study consisted of two cycles with the research instrument observation sheet and test sheet. The subjects of the teacher and student research were 22 students including 13 male students and 9 female students. The results showed an increase in: (a) RPP I cycle 73.21% (C), cycle II 92.85% (SB), (b) Implementation of aspects of teacher cycle I 82.13% (B), cycle II 96 , 42% (SB) and the results of observation of the first cycle of aspects of students 80.35% (C), second cycle 96.42% (SB), (c) Student learning outcomes cycle I value 72 (C), cycle II 88.40 (SB). It was concluded that the Think Pair Share model can improve PKn learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN 19 Sungai Tanang. Keywords:Learning Outcomes; Civic education; Think Pair Share Model

Abstract

The purpose of the study to describe the increase in student learning outcomes in learning IPS by using the model of Snowball Throwing in class V SDN 29 Ulak Karang Padang City academic year 2017/2018. The type of research is PTK in learning IPS class  V  SDN  29  Ulak  Karang  Padang  City.  Research  subjects  were  teachers  and students of class V. There were 26 students consisting of 12 female students and 14 male students. The results showed, Snowball Throwing model can improve student learning outcomes in IPS learning in class V SDN 29 Ulak Karang Kota Padang. Based on the average class of 77.4 cycles I meeting I and 82.2 cycles I meeting II, thus the average cycle I is 79.83. In the second cycle obtained an average of 96.3. Keywords: Snowball Throwing, learning outcomes

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to increase student learning outcomes in Civics Learning with Class IV Elementary Role Playing Methods. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The research subjects were 26 people. The results of the observation of RPP cycle I increased in cycle II with an average value of 87% good qualification. The aspect of teacher observation in cycle I increased in cycle II with an average score of 86% good qualification. Abstract

Following research is purposed to find out if there is a relationship between Learning Motivation and study's result on fifth grade of national elementary school number four subdistrict Banuhampu, Agam regency. Population in this research are 159 students with 61 students as sample. Data is analyzed by using Pearson Correlation shows that there is relationship 0,936 and r table df=59 with 5% significance 0,2521, which means counted r is bigger than r table (0,936>0,2521), and obtained significance 0,000 which is smaller than 0,05. this result shows that there is a significance relationship between Learning Motivation and Study's result on fifth grade of  national elementary school number four subdistrict Banuhampu, Agam regency. Abstract

Abstract This research was undertaken as an attempt to assess the effect of cooperative learning model Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) on the fourth grade students learning outcomes in Civic Education at SD negeri 31 Pasir Kandang Padang. This research adopted a quasi-experimental research design with The Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Contol Group Design. This research was done at SDN 31 Pasir Kandang Padang. The fourth grade students in class A was a control class consisted of 27 students while the fourth grade students in class B was an experimental class consisted of 28 students. The data were analyzed by using t-test. The result of the research revealed that the average score of the experimental group (72,75) which applied the cooperative learning model students teams achievement division (STAD) compared to the control class (62,48) showed better achievement. Based on the caculation of t-test, t-count (2,530) scored higher than t-table (2,006) for alpha 0,05. The results obtained from the data showed that there is more positive effect of cooperative learning model of STAD toward the fifth grade students learning outcomes in Civic Education at SDN 31 Pasir Kandang Padang. Keywords: STAD, Learning outcomes
