Abstract

This research aims to reveal the Lawang Kori Gedongwani carving art in East Lampung, one of the areas in South Sumatra which since the early 17th century was the territory of the Banten Sultanate. Based on its current appearance, Lawang Kori is carved in the typical Bantenese art style that dominantly decorates pottery shards and tombstones at Banten Lama urban site. However, in certain details Lawang Kori also showed the influence of art from other regions in Java and Bali. To determine the existence of these artistic elements, research will focus on the forms and types of ornaments that were manifested in the Lawang Kori carvings, both in whole and in part. Therefore, direct observations were carried out in Gedongwani Village, Mergo Tigo District, East Lampung Regency, where Lawangkori was found. Identification of shapes and decorations produces very diverse decorative patterns. By focusing on the analysis on structure, construction and decorative elements in the form of geometric, floral and figurative motifs, Lawang Kori presented the characteristics strongly influenced by the decorative arts of Banten, East Java and Bali. Islamic art itself was the result of modifications from the Hindu-Buddhist period. Referring to historical sources and oral traditions, the Lawang Kori gate was probably made in the late 17th and early 18th centuries. The growth of port cities under the rule of the Javanese-Islamic polity stimulated the development of decorative arts in their area of influence. Islamic works of art themselves were the result of modifications from the Hindu-Buddhist period. In this case, Banten was an agent for the spread of Islamic art in the Lampung region, from its golden age to its decline in the early 19th century.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this paper is to explain the reasons why the visual video demonstration technique works very well in teaching students the ability to practice prayer. This article discusses how to incorporate prayer into daily routines and provides a theoretical background on how to use t-test or anova to measure students' abilities in a visual video demonstration-based evaluation. An attempt to characterize the characteristics of students' abilities in prayer practice was carried out using the visual video demonstration approach. The True Experimental Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design was used in this study. This design involves randomly selecting two groups and administering a pretest to determine the initial conditions of each group. If there is no statistically significant difference between the experimental and control groups on the pretest, then the findings are satisfactory. The theoretical purpose of this experimental approach is to ascertain, by using the visual video demonstration technique (X), its effectiveness in improving students' abilities in the material of prayer practice (Y).

Abstract

The Pancasila student profile is one of the demands in the Independent Curriculum. The professionalism of PAI teachers plays a role in encouraging students to have Pancasila values within themselves. The aim of the study aims to analyze the role of PAI teacher professionalism in increasing the profile of Pancasila students. This study is qualitative research using a case study method at SD Tunas Harapan Pasar Kemis, Tangerang Regency. Data was collected through interview techniques, documentation studies and observations. After that, the data was collected, reduced, presented and concluded. The competency of PAI teachers at Tunas Harapan Elementary School shows that it is in accordance with the standards mandated by the 2003 National Education System Law. The roles of professional teachers that PAI teachers can play include, among others, uswatun hasanah, motivator, facilitator and evaluator. There are several efforts to improve the professionalism of PAI teachers to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students, including taking part in Diktats, Workshops, Webinars and playing a role in PAI subject clusters. Even as a professional teacher, there are obstacles and obstacles that we face, such as unsynchronized time, difficulties in determining dimensions and elements related to PAI teaching materials.

Abstract

The merdeka curriculum mandates teachers to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students. The basic character values of Pancasila must be reflected in students, namely the values of faith and devotion to God Almighty, working together, global diversity, critical reasoning, independence and creativity. This research aims to explore patterns of implementing Islamic education in the digital era in empowering Pancasila students. This study is qualitative research using a case study method at SMPN 2 Kalanganyar. Interview techniques, documentation studies and observations were used to obtain data in this research. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, namely data collection, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. The research results show that the pattern of implementing Islamic education in the digital era in facing the strengthening of Pancasila students at SMPN 2 Kalanganyar is carried out through planning, implementation and evaluation. The planning process is carried out by including the dimensions of the Pancasila student profile in terms of achievement and learning objectives. Project and problem-based learning models are used to strengthen the Pancasila student profile. Meanwhile, in the evaluation pattern, apart from measuring understanding of PAI material, PAI teachers also use instruments to measure the profile of Pancasila students such as non-test instruments.

Abstract

An interactional teaching style is needed for the learning process in the classroom. The use of an interactional teaching style is believed to affect student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the interactional teaching style on student learning outcomes in the material on the respiratory system in class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 2 Singaparna Academic Year 2022/2023. The research method uses a quasi-experiment with a research design called a nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study were all class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 2 Singaparna with 4 classes totaling 215 students. The sample technique used was purposive sampling with the sample used being class XI MIPA 2 as the experimental class and class XI MIPA 4 as the control class with 60 students. The instrument used in this study was to measure student learning outcomes referring to the taxonomic bloom indicators of indicators C1, C2, C3, C4, and C5. The data analysis technique used is the independent t-test. The results of the study show that there is a significant effect of using an interactional teaching style on student learning outcomes with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. It can be concluded that there is an influence of interactional teaching style on the learning outcomes of students in class XI MIPA SMAN 2 Singaparna Academic Year 2022/2023 on the material of the respiratory system.

Abstract

21st-century education highlights the importance of understanding cognitive load and emotional intelligence in the context of teaching and learning. The goal in this study to determine the correlation between emotional intelligence and cognitive load of students in biology subjects in Class XI MIPA SMAN 4 Tasikmalaya. The responden is  XI MIPA SMAN 4 Tasikmalaya, consisting of 5 classes with a total of 190 students. The research sample was taken using total sampling, where the entire population becomes the sample. The research instrument uses a 44 statement emotional intelligence questionnaire and a 20 statement cognitive load questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is simple correlation testing, namely bivariate.The results of the study show a very strong correlation between emotional intelligence and cognitive load, with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.972. The emotional intelligence variable contributes 94.4% to the cognitive load, as indicated by the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.944. The conclusion of this research is that there is a significant correlation between emotional intelligence and cognitive load of students in biology subjects in Class XI SMA Negeri 4 Tasikmalaya.
