Abstract

This research investigated the most dominant issue experienced by EFL oral class presentation in their vocal class performance and identifying the extent of the students' difficulties in delivering material. The method used was the case study approach. In gaining specific data and information, the researchers collected the data by classroom observation and interviews of English students at Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten. The result shows that a significantly prominent matter faced by the students in doing a presentation is the explanation aspect and Self-control, getting nervous and unconfident.

Abstract

This research seeks to investigate the role of parents in the success of children's education. It is intended to evaluate parents' role and evaluate the participation of parents in the success of elementary school students in learning English. The qualitative approach was used in this study to derive the findings by using a questionnaire and documentation from the research subject. In this report, there are 28 students and parents involved. Furthermore, the data processing method is used to accumulate the data, reduce the data, show the data, and make a conclusion. The outcome of this research is a perfect reflection of the standards of English learning success by parents. In learning vocabulary, parents understand the limitations and challenges of their children. Parents' role is also excellent; 91 percent of parents help children learn English provides benefits, and positively affect children. Then, 23 percent of parents are only interested in getting support at home with children's education; therefore, the family or siblings can help unless the child has problems.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah kemampuan berbicara pada siswa kelas IV SDN Kedaung Wetan 6 yang sangat rendah. Siswa kesulitan untuk menyampaikan pendapatnya dan akibatnya adalah siswa kurang fokus saat menyimak penjelasan guru. Tujuan pada penelitian ini untuk 1) mengetahui kelayakan produk media boneka tangan, 2) mengetahui kemampuan berbicara peserta didik setelah diterapkan pembelajaran menggunakan media boneka tangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode RD (Reasearch and Development) tipe 4D. Pada penelitian ini teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data ialah teknik observasi, wawancara, dan angket validasi ahli materi dan media. Boneka tangan ini dikembangkan menjadi sebuah boneka dengan karakter benda mati yang dapat berbicara seperti makhluk hidup menggunakan mulut yang dapat digerakan oleh tangan. Validasi dilakukan kepada ahli media dan ahli materi dengan perolehan skor 94 dan 97,setelah dilakukan perhitungan dapat disimpulkan skor yang diperoleh sangat baik, jadi media boneka tangan sangat layak untuk digunakan. Hal ini selaras dengan hasil uji coba dengan siswa yang memperoleh skor rata-rata 93 dengan kategori sangat baik. Demikian pula dengan respons peserta didik sangat aktif dalam pembelajaran menggunakan media boneka tangan, terlihat antusias, dan peningkatan rasa ingin tahu.

Abstract

This study investigates teacher quality, principal performance, and the relationship between the two in the madrasa context. The research method uses a literature review. This study's primary and secondary data sources are books and articles from scientific journals. Selection, analysis, synthesis, and interpretation are carried out using this method. The study's findings indicate that the school principal's responsibility is to fulfill his duties and obligations, emphasizing his performance in terms of motivation, knowledge, attitudes, and psychomotor skills. School administrators' total efficacy is reflected in their responsibilities as managers, supervisors, educators, leaders, innovators, and motivators. Effective teaching consists of the following elements: discipline, authority, accountability, charisma, and attitude. In conclusion, the effectiveness of school principals and the caliber of their faculty are critical factors in the development of madrasas. Suggestions state that principal performance and teacher quality should be regularly monitored
