Abstract

This qualitative study explores the rise of viral beverage brands Mixue (China) and Ai-Cha (Indonesia) among Malaysian Muslim consumers, focusing on the implications of their uncertified halal status. Despite Malaysia’s comprehensive halal certification system governed by JAKIM, many consumers—especially youth—exhibit limited awareness and verification practices regarding halal compliance. This study aims to assess halal literacy, identify behavioral gaps, and propose educational strategies to address syubhah (doubtful) consumption. Using document-based content analysis of official guidelines (MS1500:2019), Islamic jurisprudence, media discourse, and consumer behavior literature, findings indicate that brand aesthetics, social media influence, and pricing often outweigh religious considerations. The results underscore an attitude-behavior gap, where consumers affirm halal values but do not consistently act on them. The study concludes that enhanced formal and informal halal education, particularly among youth, is critical to strengthening faith-aligned consumption. Recommendations include multi-platform public outreach and curriculum integration to foster informed, ethical, and faith-conscious consumer behavior.

Abstract

Rural communities often face challenges in utilizing local resources for economic empowerment. The Sanggrahan Women Farmer Group (KWT) in Sukoharjo has potential in cultivating family medicinal plants (TOGA), yet knowledge and skills in processing, packaging, financial management, and marketing remain limited. This study employed a participatory approach involving training, mentoring, and hands-on practice. The program included product innovation (jaselor, golor tea, moringa-based snacks), packaging design, financial literacy, and digital marketing. Pre-test and post-test assessments were conducted, supported by observation and documentation, with descriptive statistics and paired t-tests applied to measure changes. Findings revealed significant improvement in participants’ knowledge and skills. The proportion of members in the “good” knowledge category increased from 10% before training to 72% after training, while production skills improved from 12% to 73%. In addition, KWT successfully promoted products through social media and the village MSME Expo, gaining wider market exposure. Several products also obtained P-IRT certification, enhancing legitimacy and distribution potential. The results demonstrate that integrated empowerment—combining training, digital marketing, and certification—effectively strengthens women’s economic capacity and market readiness. This model is replicable in other rural settings and provides valuable insights for policymakers and development practitioners to foster sustainable, women-led economic empowerment.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the types of ICT equipment and to describe the use of ICT in English Language Teaching and Learning by English teachers at MAN I Kota Gorontalo. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with interviews and documentation from lesson plan in the data collection. Ten students of class X and XI in the second semester of 2019/2020 and two English teachers were involved in this research. The data were analyzed by reducing data, displaying, and then drawing the conclusions. The result showed that the first was the type of media used by the teachers in teaching and learning process are: laptops computers, LCDs, Sound systems, Power Points, Google Classroom Google Forms, and WhatsApp groups. Second, the teaching and learning process of ICT-based media has been included in Lesson Plan (RPP) by supporting applications such as PowerPoints for presenting initial material creating WhatsApp groups for assignment submissions, and Google class Google forms for evaluation. Apan from the use of ICT-based media, other learning resources are in form of English books There is also collaboration between media and methods in learning Suggestion are given to schools, teachers and further researchers.

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Bakteri Staphylococcus aureus merupakan penyebab penyakit antara lain jerawat, bisul, impetigo,dan infeksi pada luka. Beberapa senyawa yang terkandung didalam daun kelor berperan sebagai antibakteri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui konsentrasi 5%, 10%, 15% sediaan krim ekstrak etanolik daun kelor (Moringa Oleifera L.) yang dapat menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri Staphylococcus Aureus. Metode : Penilitian ini bersifat eksperimental dengan post test only control group design. Ekstraksi menggunakan metode maserasi pelarut etanol 96%. Penelitian ini menggunakan 5 kelompok yaitu kontrol positif (K+), kontrol negatif (K-), formula 5% (F1), formula 10% (F2) dan formula 15% (F3). Pengujian sifat fisik sediaan krim meliputi organoleptis, pH, daya sebar dan viskositas. Uji efektivitas antibakteri menggunakan metode difusi cakram. Hasil : Hasil uji sifat fisik menunjukkan bahwa pada pengujian pH didapatkan nilai rata-rata yaitu kelompok basis (6,98), kelompok F1 (6,98), kelompok F2 (6,98), kelompok F3 (6,98). Uji daya sebar didapatkan nilai rata-rata yaitu kelompok basis (6,5 cm), kelompok F1 (5,77 cm), kelompok F2 (6,6 cm), kelompok F3 (6,6). Uji viskositas didapatkan nilai rata-rata yaitu kelompok basis (304,56 cps), kelompok F1 (302,73 cps), kelompok F2 (311,06 cps), kelompok F3 (312,06 cps), hasil uji aktivitas antibakteri didapatkan rata-rata hasil yaitu kelompok kontrol negatif (0 cm), kelompok kontrol positif (18 cm), kelompok F1 (14,6 cm), kelompok F2 (20,63 cm), kelompok F3 (25,46 cm). Kesimpulan : Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah sediaan krim ekstrak daun kelor 5% mempengaruhi aktivitas antibakteri secara lemah, 10% secara sedang, 15% secara kuat dan semua sediaan krim memenuhi persyaratan uji sifat fisik.

Abstract

The curriculum is the foundation of education since it acts as a road map for pupils to achieve their learning goals. Without an appropriate curriculum, students will not obtain appropriate learning targets. As time progresses, the curriculum also changes. Curriculum changes are adapted to the needs of students in their respective times. Its adaptability is critical for meeting the changing demands of students in the face of rapid technological breakthroughs and a constantly changing social context. This study investigates the advantages of building curriculum methodically in the field of education, particularly in terms of how it interacts with computer systems. The research emphasizes the need for deliberate change and calls for a planned strategy that blends technology's revolutionary potential with educational objectives. The research was conducted using the quantitative method by taking some questionnaires to the elementary school with the distribution of respondent classes, gender, hobby, extracurricular, favorite subject, dislike the subject, interest curriculum, learning methods, and homework at school. We found that the curriculum Merdeka is a new approach to developing educational curricula in Indonesia by emphasizing developing student potential with a more inclusive and creative approach.

Abstract

This study aims to determine aspects of context, input, process and product Islamic Instructional Design in SMAN 4 Palopo. This study is a qualitative research. The approach  was management. Analysis of the data used were descriptive analysis by performing data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that: (1) According to context, form of Islamic instructional design used was a curriculum-based learning design in 2013 formulated individually. The teachers' qualifications were accordance with the educational background and pedagogical competence of some teachers was still less than the maximum, and supporting factors were computer, papers,  and printer. (2) According to input, the support  of school and effort of the teachers was still less than the maximum. (3) According to process, the suitability of the utilization of the Islamic instructional design was sometimes appropriate and sometimes not appropriate. The time of making the Islamic instructional design conducted beginning of each semester, although sometimes the Islamic instructional design has not finished and the period of utilization of the Islamic instructional design was for one semester. (4) According to product, the impact of the utilization of the Islamic instructional design have positive impacts and negative impacts, and the students' responses to the utilization of the Islamic instructional design have  positive response and negative response.

Abstract

This research aims to measure the impact of corporate governance on financial performance in manufacturing companies in the consumer goods industry sector listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The research methodology used is a collection of data from Manufacturing Companies in the Consumer Goods Industry Sector Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020-2022. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling technique with the amount of data used is 82. The independent variable in this research is the Principal of Corporate Governance. Meanwhile, the dependent variable is financial performance which is measured using Return on Assets. This research also uses control variables to help measure the relationship between Corporate Governance variables and Company Performance. The results of this research show that the board of directors and institutional ownership have a positive and insignificant effect on Return on Assets. Meanwhile, independent commissioners show a negative and significant influence on Return on Assets. For the control variable on company size (SIZE) the results show a positive and significant effect, and leverage shows the results show the results have a negative and significant effect on Return on Assets.

Abstract

Tapai adalah makanan tradisional Indonesia yang di fermentasi oleh khamir Saccharomyces cerivisiae sehingga memiliki rasa yang unik. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini untuk menguji kadar alkohol, saponin, tanin, sulfur, gula reduksi, flavonoid, dan kardiak glikosida pada tapai singkong plastik, tapai singkong daun pisang dan tapai beras ketan. Kegiatan ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah kadar alkohol pada tapai singkong daun pisang lebih tinggi sebesar 9,21%. Terdapat saponin pada tapai beras ketan, sedangkan pada tapai singkong tidak ada. Tanin tidak terdapat pada semua sampel karena tidak terjadi perubahan warna. Gula reduksi pada tapai singkong daun pisang (P1) 11,6% dan (P2) 11, 4%, tapai beras ketan (P1) 8,8% dan (P2) 8,7%, serta tapai singkong plastik (P1 dan P2) sebesar 11, 1%. Uji flavonoid 1 tapai singkong plastik dan tapai singkong daun pisang memiliki warna hitam pekat, tetapi tapai beras ketan memiliki warna kecokelatan. Uji flavonoid 2 semua sampel tidak terjadi pengendapan dan perubahan warna. Uji kardiak glikosida, semua sampel mengendap setelah menambahkan larutan FeCl3 1% dan asam sulfat pekat. Adanya endapan sulfur yang terindikasi pada dasar tabung reaksi.

Abstract

Stunting remains a major public health issue in Indonesia, with a prevalence of 21.6% in 2022 (SSGI). Early detection at Posyandu is often constrained by manual recording, which is time-consuming, error-prone, and difficult to integrate with health systems. This study aimed to implement SI-MASTING (Stunting Early Detection Information System) to improve the effectiveness and accuracy of child growth monitoring. The study was conducted at Posyandu Sanggrahan, Sukoharjo, involving 95 cadres through Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), along with trials on 11 toddlers. Results showed that SI-MASTING reduced the average recording time from 7.1 minutes to 2.4 minutes per child (66.2% efficiency) and decreased the error rate from 15.4% to 2.1% (86.3% accuracy improvement). Detection of children at risk of stunting increased from 48% to 92% (44% improvement). Cadre satisfaction was high, with an average score of 4.52 out of 5; ease of use received the highest rating of 4.67, followed by application speed at 4.58. In case testing, 45% of toddlers were identified as stunted, with the highest prevalence of 50% in the 12–18 month age group. In conclusion, SI-MASTING effectively accelerates early stunting detection, enhances data accuracy, and empowers cadres in nutritional interventions. The system has strong potential for integration with e-Puskesmas and replication in other regions as part of the national strategy to accelerate stunting reduction.
