Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model in improving elementry school students writing skills. This research was carried out using a method in the form of a literature study, namely Literature review.. Data obtained was the result of journal literature of scientific articles related to the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model in elementry school students poetry writing skills, so in this research, researchers did not conduct direct research in the field. The research can streng then the argument that the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model is capable of developing students skills in writing poetry in elementry schools and is suitable for use in the process of learning and teaching activities.

Abstract

Students' critical thinking skills in natural science learning in elementary schools are not optimal because teachers have not used learning media that suit the characteristics of students and teaching materials. The aim of this research is to describe digital media innovations in empowering critical thinking skills in natural science learning in elementary schools. This research uses a literature review research design with a qualitative approach. The data in this research is secondary data. Data collection techniques use literature studies related to books, national journals and international journals according to the research focus. The data analysis technique is a content analysis technique.

Abstract

The low results of daily tests on mathematics subjects regarding integer arithmetic operations indicate a lack of mastery of the material. This research aims to increase elementary school students' understanding of integer counting operations through the use of charged coins. Charged coin media uses capsule coins with positive and negative charges attached to cardboard, which is designed to help students understand the concept of integer counting operations. The research method used is a literature review where researchers use journals contained in GoogleSchool which were published in 2015-2023. Based on this research, the results showed that the use of charged coin media is very appropriate for increasing students' understanding of mathematical concepts in whole number operations.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the still low learning outcomes in mathematics subjects on FPB (Greatest Common Factor) and KPK (Least Common Multiple), because students still find it difficult to differentiate the factors of these numbers. Based on these problems, teachers are expected to be able to provide learning media that can make it easier for students to understand the subject matter. The aim of this research is to improve student learning outcomes by using Dakota learning media (Dakon Mathematics). With the Dakota (Dakon Mathematics) learning media, it can improve mathematics learning outcomes in the cognitive aspect and involve students to actively participate in lessons, thus fostering students' interest in learning in mathematics subjects such as FPB (Greatest Common Factor) and KPK (Least Common Multiple) . So, it can be concluded that the use of Dakota learning media (Dakon Mathematics) can increase students' interest in learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This research aims to improve reading comprehension skills using picture story media in class III students. This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is designed to help teachers find and solve problems during the classroom learning process. This classroom action research was carried out in two cycles, with research subjects consisting of 33 class III students. Data collection techniques are observation and tests. The data analysis technique uses quantitative data analysis. The results of research using picture story media for two cycles, the average value of the test results has increased. In cycle I, the first meeting achieved a score of 57% and in the second meeting 63% with the category not yet reaching the KKM and in cycle II there was an increase. The score at the first meeting was 69% and at the second meeting it increased by 100%. This shows that improving reading comprehension skills using picture story media in Indonesian language subjects can be applied further to improve student learning achievement.

Abstract

Evaluasi program dalam lembaga pendidikan menjadi suatu keharusan yang tidak dapat diabaikan mengingat peran pentingnya dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang diinginkan. Evaluasi program memungkinkan lembaga pendidikan untuk menilai sejauh mana program-program tersebut telah berhasil mencapai tujuan mereka, mengidentifikasi area-area yang memerlukan perbaikan, dan menyesuaikan strategi pembelajaran dengan kebutuhan siswa dan tuntutan zaman. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki keberhasilan dan tantangan program Digital Smart Classroom (DSC) menggunakan metode Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP). Metodologi penelitian menggunakan pendekatan evaluasi CIPP dengan melakukan Evaluasi konteks program, evaluasi aspek input seperti sumber daya manusia dan materi, Evaluasi proses pelaksanaan program, dan evaluasi produk dalam hal pencapaian tujuan program. Data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara, observasi serta dokumentasi, dan dianalisis dengan pendektan Miles and Hubberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program DSC di SMA Islam Al Azhar 22 Cikarang berhasil meningkatkan keterlibatan guru dan partisipasi siswa, serta memperbaiki nilai akademik mereka. Kendati demikian, terdapat kendala teknis seperti keterbatasan stok alat belajar dan stabilitas jaringan wifi. Implikasinya, disarankan untuk melanjutkan program DSC dengan menguatkan keunggulan yang telah ada, sambil terus meningkatkan kualitas dan efisiensi program sebagai langkah yang tepat dalam menjawab tantangan pendidikan di era digital ini.

Abstract

In the life of a Muslim, prayer is the most important part, as spiritual communication to Allah SWT at 5 times every day. The demonstration method allows students to understand the correct steps in performing prayer. Student participation and motivation show positive changes. In the first cycle, the level of student participation increased to 70% during the demonstration process. Students show high interest and active involvement in learning activities. Students' learning motivation has also increased, as can be seen from their enthusiasm in participating in demonstrations and involvement in class discussions. In the second cycle, student participation increased further to 90%. Most students were active in practice and discussion sessions, indicating that this method was successful in creating an interactive and supportive learning environment. Apart from increasing the average score, student participation and motivation also showed positive changes. Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of parental involvement in the learning process on the academic performance of elementary school students. The active and supportive participation of parents in their children's education has been proven to have a significantly positive effect on students' academic achievement. Research findings indicate that parental engagement in teaching and learning activities, both at home and at school, not only enhances students' motivation to learn but also contributes to improved performance in cognitive, psychomotor, and affective aspects. This involvement encompasses open communication, emotional support, and adequate provision of learning resources. Furthermore, effective collaboration between parents and teachers strengthens students' commitment to learning and achieving better academic outcomes. Other factors influencing students' academic performance include individual interest, motivation, and talent. Therefore, optimizing the role of parents in the educational process is crucial for attaining optimal academic performance at the elementary school level.

Abstract

The learning model is a fusion of dance integrated approach to free expression, discipline and multicultural. The problem is how to form and execution of an integrated model of learning the art of dance in elementary school students. The purpose of this study was to determine and implement an integrated model of learning in elementary school students. This study uses the approach of Research and Development (R & D), engineering data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation, as well as the validity of the data using triangulation of data analysis process includes three grooves activities as a system, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that the integrated model of learning dance implemented through three stages: (1) disciplinary approaches, (2) using a multicultural approach that includes process flow that is penengenalan appreciation, understanding, appreciation and evaluation, (3) approach in which free expression using creation method which ideas and concepts, plugging into a new motion products. Advice, elementary school teachers should use the integrated arts learning model that students have the experience to appreciate and be creative.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Distance Learning (PJJ) on the learning outcomes of elementary school students during the COVID-19 pandemic. In its implementation, PJJ presents various challenges, including decreased learning outcomes (learning loss), lack of student involvement, low concentration, and limited learning facilities. Inhibiting factors such as access to technology, minimal parental guidance, and lack of motivation for independent learning also worsen the condition. However, various strategies have been implemented by teachers and parents to overcome these obstacles, ranging from variations in learning methods, strengthening communication, to creating a conducive learning environment. The results of the analysis show that collaboration between teachers and parents is very important in maintaining the quality of learning. This study also found a significant difference between learning outcomes before and during PJJ, where face-to-face learning tends to provide better results. This study recommends the need to strengthen educational infrastructure and increase the digital capacity of all elements of education as an effort to face similar challenges in the future.
