Abstract

The development of Indonesian in children is important because communication and social interaction are important aspects of their development. Through speaking, they can communicate and interact with other people. One way to encourage language development in early childhood is through social interaction. This research aims to explore how social interaction influences language development in early childhood. We involved 10 students from Istiqomah Kindergarten, including 3 who tend to be introverted and have difficulty interacting with their friends. We use observation methods, interviews with teachers, and observations of students over a certain period. The research results show that social interaction has a significant role in improving language skills in early childhood. The development of Indonesian in children is important because communication and social interaction are important aspects of their development. Abstract

The skill of providing variety is one of the important competencies in early childhood learning which aims to create a fun, interesting and effective learning atmosphere. This research aims to analyze the application of variation skills in the early childhood learning process and its impact on children's interest and participation. The research used a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interviews and documentation methods on teachers and students at an early childhood education institution. The research results show that variations in learning methods, media and interactions significantly increase children's involvement in learning activities. Teachers who are able to consistently provide variation also encourage the development of children's cognitive, social-emotional and motoric aspects. This research recommends special training for early childhood educators to improve skills in providing variation as the main strategy in learning.

Abstract

Abstract This study examines the connotation and denotation of signs at UNPAM Viktor using Barthes' semiotic model to explore their explicit and implicit meanings. Employing a qualitative descriptive design, the research analyzes 20 selected signs, highlighting their functional and symbolic roles within the campus environment. The findings reveal that these signs reflect the cultural, social, and institutional values of the university, serving as effective tools for communication and identity reinforcement. This study underscores the importance of Barthes' semiotic theory in interpreting signs in academic contexts and suggests further exploration of how cultural nuances and technological advancements influence sign interpretation. Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in fostering creativity among elementary school students, particularly in the respiratory system topic within Natural Science (IPA) learning. Creativity, as one of the essential 21st-century competencies, needs to be developed from an early age through learning approaches that are active, contextual, and student-centered. This research employs a qualitative method with a library research approach, utilizing various sources such as accredited scientific journal articles, relevant books, and previous research reports published between 2017 and 2025. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the implementation of PjBL in the respiratory system topic effectively enhances student creativity through exploratory activities such as creating lung models, organizing clean air campaigns, and conducting simple experiments. PjBL also supports the development of collaborative skills, problem-solving abilities, and learning responsibility. In conclusion, PjBL is an effective and relevant instructional strategy to increase creativity and create meaningful learning experiences at the elementary school level, especially in science education.

Abstract

The cultivation of religious character from an early age plays a crucial role in faith-based education. The Magrib Mengaji program serves as a strategic initiative to instill Islamic values while strengthening children’s Qur’anic literacy. This study seeks to describe the implementation of the Magrib Mengaji program in Tambangan Jae Village and examine its contribution to the development of children’s religious character. Using a qualitative approach, data were gathered through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results reveal that the program is conducted regularly with strong support from parents, Qur’an teachers, and community leaders. Children demonstrated notable progress in Qur’an reading, memorization of prayers, and daily worship practices, along with the development of discipline, responsibility, and cooperation. Despite challenges such as limited teaching staff and the influence of digital devices, the Magrib Mengaji program has proven effective in nurturing the religious character of young generations. Sustained efforts through better facilities, teacher training, and parental involvement are essential to ensure the continuity and impact of this program in shaping a devout and well-mannered generation.
